Valerie couldn't really see where she was going. She seemed to have a bit of a pep on her step, occasionally having to watch her footing. "Whoa!"She gasped as she nearly fell into what appeared to be a hole. She cleared her throat-making a rather strange noise doing so- and spit to see how deep the hole went. It took a few seconds for a sound to be heard, making Valerie shiver. She hated heights....
"Eden, relax. You still have me around so don't panic..."Riku said, notiving Eden started to freak out.
"Edeeeeen, chiilll oooout~!"Valerie yelled, cheeks sparking. Of course, the sparking cheeks did nothing to help with the lighting. "I don't like this one bit..."Riku frowned.
Valerie took a look around the area, not really impressed. "This is it? I know its supposed to be dark and gloomy but yeesh."she shrugged.
"Leap of Faaaaaaaaaaaith~!"Valerie was first to jump, giggling like mad. Riku rolled his eyes, chuckling.
"Couldn't we just all go in there with the whole 'power in numbers' thing? I mean, what if we find Rikus body while we're in there?"Valerie wanted to prove to the others that she could handle the big heartless. Riku was thinking about it...after all, he did want his body back....
"wait...jump in? I know we planned on going to the world of darkness to fix it but..."Riku was starting to think about the cons of the plan. "Alright! To the world of Darkness!"Valerie was super excited. ------------ "What are you doing...."Sora was watching Chester get into the fridge, taking some of the spoiled food. Heartless don't need to eat...do they? As if to prove Sora wrong Chester ate the spoiled food like it was still fresh. "Jeffrey...you're seeing what I'm seeing, right?"Sora was suprised. He didn't know heartless could eat anything but hearts and darkness...
"It's alright, they're enchanted. The magic in them will fix it..."Riku was leaning back, relaxing. "So! Anyone have any ideas how to fix it? The keyhole, I mean..."Valerie asked.
"That was tottaly wicked!"Valerie cheered at the rush. Riku could feel the rush from his haven, laughing a bit. "what a rush..."
Alright...Riku knew they were almost out, anxious to get out of the dark corridor. Well, almost. He still needed to focus.
Easy Eden. Save your strength for the keyhole.... Riku knew he couldn't help up the fire spell without tiring Eden out more, hoping it would be safe travels once they escaped the dark corridor.
Riku wanted to freeze the darkness and the beasties, but would tolerate burning them for now. Besides, it was more for scaring them off so the monsters wouldn't attack any allies.
"Alright! Thats great!"Valerie said, glad that they were almost out. Riku was still getting overexcited about the fighting, wanting some action himself.
"I heard that! Don't let yourself get carried away while you're on fire or you'll end up just like-"Riku paused, knowing he was saying too much. Sora had told Riku his side of the story, while he never told Sora his side. Nothing about Roxas or Xion...or even Axel...and yet the brunette talked about how devastating it was when he sacrificed himself for Sora. How a complete stranger risked his life because he wanted to see his lost friend one more time... Most likely to apologize for his misdeeds. "J-Just be careful."Riku said, after his small fit of recalling memories.
Riku was definately pumped, making remarks and antagonizing the heartless...or trying to since he was back in his haven. He definately was spending too much time with Sora....
Valerie immediately rushed to follow Gexln, going on in a mantra of "OhmyLuna, OhmyLuna, OhmyLuna..." "C'mon! Take 'em out! They're shadows! ha!"Riku was a bit overexcited now. -------- Sora was starting to relax, looking at the small shadow Valerie dubbed 'Chester'. So far the only violence it showed was when hit bit Sora. The creature was suprisingly docile, which made Sora uneasy. What if it's trying to lure us into a trap if we take it in... What if it's actually docile.... Sora was starting to debate over whether to let the heartless go, take it in like Valerie wanted, or to slay the beast like it's brethren.
"Lets do this!"Valerie immediately went through the dark corridor. This is it.... Riku went into the dark corridor, ready for anything.
"Pweeeeeeease?"Valerie put on her cutest voice possible. "Please..."Riku said politely.
"I hope your right..."Sora sniffled. The baby gave a rough kick at the hug, wanting some affection as well. Sora gasped at the rough kick. "Well, you being calm didn't last..."he chuckled, a hand on his stomach. ---------- Riku sighed, rolling his eyes at the girl. "Alright, we'll take the easy route...""Yaaaaaaay~"Valerie was glad to take the easy way.
"Please...?"Sora asked, trying not to cry again. The baby could sense that it's 'mother' was in distress, kicking more gently. ---------------------------- "FOR THE LOVE OF THE SECOND COMING OF JHOTO!"Valerie's sudden outburst nearly spooked Riku into letting go. He regained his grip."What happened, pup?"he asked. "Couldn't Gexln had just....used a portal to get us there?"Valerie asked. "Yeah, but why do it the lazy way?"Riku asked.
