The best way to get it working is to use Alcohol, and use a Cotton ball to smooth the surface.
Then that must mean, that the monitor and the keyboard doesn't fit with each other. Or maybe the keyboard is way old, and the monitor is like 08 new. I think you need a KB.

Quite frankly, you should always forgive your closet friend or family member. Even if they've did you any harm. Personally, I couldn't go for revenge because in the end you will be hurting yourself. Even if they lied to you, do you think that done it on purpose or to protect you from something. It's good to forgive, but not to forget. You didn't go through all of that just to forget.
