Croup had to laugh. He had really outdone himself this time. Less than an hour into this damn game, and he had already gotten himself lost in the woods. At least the sun was coming up, and he would be able to see for a little while. Cold comfort, considering the fact that there were about twenty other people who were probably trying to kill him. He decided the best he could do was walk in one direction for a while and then see where it led him. He walked for about twenty minutes before he heard it. It was faint, but he heard it. The sound of someone crying. That meant that there were probably people nearby. People that were trying to kill him. Croup cursed, and immediately began running in the other direction, pulling out his knife as he went.

Croup finally stopped pretending he was asleep, and went over to his bag. He picked up the combat knife and stared at it, admiring it's shine. He cut a hole in his left sleeve and made a slight nick on his left arm. the knife seemed to work pretty well. he looked up at the man and wondered what he could possibly gain from a whole bunch of people having to kill each other. He then decided he didn't care, and waited for the man to continue.
