I've been drawing pretty much all my life and although I do always get complements about how "amazing" I draw, I feel like I need someone to tell me what I've done wrong or something I could do differently so I can improve. I feel stuck at the current level I am at now and I would really like to improve even more. However it's a bit hard to do that when people always just complement you. I'm not saying its a bad thing that I get complements, I just want someone to actually give me an honest critique and tell me what I can do better and such. So here are a few pieces I've done that are done digitally and in pencil. PLEASE give me an HONEST critique about them and give me some tips on what I can do to improve later on! Xero said nothing to Gexln as he tried to explain why Juliet was suddenly cornering her. She felt too embarrassed to speak to Gexln now. Xero suddenly noticed R making his way over to them. As Gexln spoke to R for a moment she also saw Xapphires making her way over as well. Xero looked back over toward Gexln's direction and saw that he was going to fight with the others, "Be careful.." she quietly said as she watched Gexln run off. Xero then turned toward R and saw a strange look on his face, "What?" She asked him. "Aren't you a little young to have a teenage daughter?" Xero only stared at him, dumbfounded and then began rubbing her temples, "Ohmygod... R, we will discuss this at a much later time, but just to make clear that she is NOT my daughter..." She said as she began to feel a mild pain in her head now. As R suddenly grabbed her hand she just looked at him oddly, but then soon felt something being given to her. When she looked her eyes went wide, "But I--" she was cut off by the look R gave her and she only gave him a nod, "I'll do what I can.." she quietly said to him as she then plucked off the green orb that was on her necklace and tied the stone onto the remaining string. Xero then summoned her scythe once again and glanced to R once more as she began to run in the direction of where the others were fighting. She suddenly realized that she was running right into the rage of arrows and quickly summoned a barrier. The arrows deflected off of it and she soon saw that Lysa was the one that launched them. Xero turned her head and to her regret she saw Xindai behind her, "Oh great..." She said as she rolled her eyes, "Don't think that that ment anything to help you with." She said coldly, "But sadly enough now that I'm here, I guess I don't exactly have a choice, knowing that she's an enemy.." Xero jumped back to Xindai's side and held her scythe in a battle stance afterwards.
Xero's face got even redder after the girl accused her of such a thing. She could see the anger in her eyes and she looked over to Gexln for a moment to only see a questioning look from him. Xero was put in the spot and wasn't comfortable about it at all. Even if the accusation was possibly true, she didn't want it to be a big deal at the moment, especially in the middle of a war. Even she herself wasn't sure what she was really feeling. Xero cleared her throat as she tried to think of an answer for the girl, but she saw where this conversation was going and didn't want to cause any trouble. She then stood up straight and made a stern look as she looked down at the girl and spoke calmly, "I feel that this conversation should be ended right now.." Xero then turned her back to Juliet and began walking away, embarrassed and feeling cornered. Her face was still rather red and she had a strange feeling in her stomach. Xero then looked at Gexln for a moment, about to say something, but she decided against it and turned her head away. Valinton saw the boy begin casting an ice spell and as he saw the icey spell begin to slowly grow with the dark aura he was creating he suddenly felt something strange. He suddenly felt himself falling. When he looked around everything was black and foggy. He looked down to see a platform, but it was blank, broken, cracked in many places and polluted and almost completely shrouded with darkness. It looked as if it would shatter any second. Valinton stepped onto it but felt uneasy doing so. He felt unsafe, that if this platform shattered under his feet, he would fall to his death. There was suddenly a light shining from above and it slowly floated down toward Valinton. It was the smallest glimmers of light, but it was there. Valinton hesitated for a moment as he reached his hand out to it. The light suddenly burst with bright rays and Valinton shielded his eyes from the blinding light. Once he felt that it was safe to look again, the platform he stood on was different. It wasn't in as bad of shape as it was. It wasn't broken, but cracks still remained where the broken pieces were, and there wasn't as much darkness surrounding the platform anymore. When he looked down he saw himself on the giant stained glass. Was this his heart? Valinton suddenly felt something in his hand and when he looked, it was a Keyblade of some sort. He recognized it from when he was one of the generals from the last Keyblade War. He had forgotten how to summon it over time when he was trapped in the dark relm, and there it was once again. While Valinton was in this trance if his, his body was reverted to his human form and only sat there on his knees staring blankly at the ground. A Keyblade suddenly summoned in his hand as well. Xero's eyes widened at the girl as she said Gexln was her father. She looked at Gexln and back at Juliet, seeing a small bit of resemblance, "I didn't know you were a father Gexln.." she whispered. Xero listened to the girl explain and only gave Caleb a glare as he pointed at her. "Are you my father's girlfriend?" The sudden bold question took Xero by surprise and her face became a red color as she stumbled upward to stand, "I-I uh... N-no.. I'm not. Close friend though I guess you could say.." She reached her hand down toward Gexln as an invite to help him get up, her face still rather red.
Xero only looked at Satsujin for a moment as he lied on the ground. He seemed to have lost consciousness from the injury she had just made on him. Xero's eyes went wide as she looked over to Gexln to see that Caleb was about to deliver a sword into him. Xero ran over to Gexln as fast as she could and came to a skidding stop as she fell to her knees and held her scythe and upper body over Gexln, guarding him as she glared up at Caleb, "Get away from him!" Xero shouted up at Caleb as she tried to catch her breath from the sprint she just made. But it looked as if someone had beaten her to defending Gexln for Caleb was unarmed when she looked back up at him. She looked over and saw the girl that had knocked Caleb's katanas away, "Who is that..?" Valinton roared in anger, his patience with the boy completely gone now. 'SAVE ME FROM MYSELF?!' he shouted, his voice full of distortion, 'WHEN WILL YOU LEARN THAT YOU CANNOT SAVE ONE WHO HAS PLUNGED AS DEEP INTO THE DARKNESS AS I HAVE?!! Valinton made a full on sprint at the boy, his speed even faster than before as he then suddenly turned and swept at the boy's feet with his long, whip like tail and then pinning the boy to the ground as he stood over him. He then began to charge up an orb of darkness with the tendrils and it slowly grew bigger and bigger.
Xero felt a pain in her head after Gexln spoke. She flinched from it a bit and held her head for a moment. "Uhn... I need to make this quick.." she quitely noted to herself. Due to Gexln having a rather disturbing meltdown, the D-Link wouldn't last long at all. Xero suddenly noticed the electricity Satsujin threw at her with his sword and only smirked. Xero then flash stepped in front of Satsujin and right when she appeared in front of him, she slashed at his face with the blade if her scythe leaving a diagonal gash across his face. She then did it once more but in the other direction making the gash form an X on his face. She then slammed the back of the scythe's blade into the side of his head creating another bloody area. Xero jumped back and then suddenly became invisible, however not completely. If one were to look close enough they would see the outline of her body and the distortion of the area she was in. She then began to creep up behind him, ready to attack once again. Ooc: There ya go Ren. One screwed up face for Satsujin. Valinton suddenly found himself starting to float into the air from the boy's spell. He then made the multiple hands coming from the tendrils on his back dig into the ground and keep him from moving. As he saw Dusk run toward him, Valinton inhaled deeply and then created a flamethrower of dark firaga at Dusk.
Valinton could only stand there wide eyed. He was being hugged out of nowhere by this kid he had just met. But this boy had something that Valinton no longer feel inside of him. Even though this boy had darkness to wield, he still had light within him. Valinton could no longer feel any light within his cold and darkened heart. Valinton could suddenly feel his body able to move again, and with that he took his swords and stabbed the boy in the stomach. "There's nothing left of the light that once lingered within me." Valinton said with a rather maniacal grin as he dug the swords deeper, "There's no point in trying to help me." He pulled the swords out and kicked the boy back, "I've become one with the darkness, and its all I need!" Valinton then slammed his swords into the ground and darkness began to engulf him, "You want to see what I really am?" Valinton looked at the boy with insanity in his eyes, "I'll show you what I really am!" With that, the darkness around him exploded and then stopped as it then rushed back toward him after. Once the darkness subsided a creature stood where Valinton once stood. It roared an ear shattering screech once it appeared and glared at the boy menacingly.
Valinton was able to block the counter luckily and swung at the boy as he jumped back but missed. "Hm. I see. You are like the rest of darkness. Filled with nothing but lies to cover a shameful story." Valinton actually began to feel rather irritated. What did this boy even know about him? Nothing, that's what. So why was he trying to poke his nose into something that didn't concern him? "Let me be the holy water to your curse." Valinton tightened his grip on the handle of his swords, "Enough!" He said as he charged at him but then the boy cast a spell that suddenly made him unable to move. Valinton glared at the boy as he spoke, "You can't save me from what I have become."
The Guardian had the katana in its hand and handed it to Xero and she looked at it with a rather impressed expression, "Hmm.. Nice sword." She said as she looked at Satsujin a bit mockingly. She was still in control if her mind, and she wasn't going to let Ansem take over. She only made the D-Link with him to block the attack from Satsujin. "Terminate D-Link: Seeker of Darkness..." she said. The Guardian disappeared and Xero just stood there holding Satsujin's sword. She then looked over at her scythe and walked over to it and cautiously picked it back up. "I'm not going to be that one person who fights someone unarmed..." She said as she threw the sword to Satsujin's feet, "But now I'm not going to hold anything back." Xero looked over to Gexln and saw that he wasn't himself at all. Although she was rather worried, she couldn't lose focus like she did earlier. Xero then looked back at Satsujin with a determined look, "Activate D-Link: Nobody of the Dark!" Xero said as she then let herself be engulfed in darkness once again and become an Anti-Form. 'Gexln..' Xero spoke to Gexln through the D-Link, 'Please calm down.. I need to borrow your power.. the D-Link won't last very long if its unstable by emotional reasons..' She tried to choose her words wisely, for she knew that if Gexln became angry with her, the D-Link wouldn't last long at all, 'Please..' Valinton ducked down from Dusk's Keyblade and swept at his feet. He then only looked at the boy with a bit if a surprised look. He knew what he was talking about but decided to play dumb, "Disguise? What're you talking about, boy?" Valinton said as he then tried stabbing him afterwards, "I am nothing more than what you see now.. Ooc: Don't exactly know if you can do that with a D-Link but whatever.
Time almost seemed to come to a stop. As Xero was fearfully looking over at the brutally murdered Kaxar, she suddenly had a feeling deep down that made her rather sad. She knew that Gexln was rather protective of Kaxar, and she was practically bracing herself for how he was going to react to Kaxar being dead. But, knowing that Gexln would be upset also made her feel sad for some reason... There was a presence behind Xero now and she only stood there and closed her eyes. She had reverted back from her Anti- Form and back to her original self. The sound of metal deflecting off of something made her open her eyes, that were now an orange color, and turn her head to see Ansem's Guardian guarding her against Satsujin's sword by merely just holding it with its hand. Xero smiled at Satsujin with a rather cocky grin, "Activate D-Link: Seeker of Darkness." she said, her voice speaking the same as Ansem's. She then turned around, the guardian still holding the blade of the sword in its hand, "Listen here," Xero said as she looked at Satsujin. It wasn't exactly Xero speaking, although Ansem and Xero were speaking at the same time, Ansem was the one speaking at the moment, "I don't think I can let you kill this girl.. If she dies, so do I. Besides, I'm the one who's supposed to kill her whenever I get out of her body.." Xero then began to levitate a few feet off the ground and she just looked at Satsujin with a smirk as the guardian then released multiple crescent shaped energy beams at Satsujin at a fast speed.
Xero saw the petals coming at her but she only charged through them, ignoring the fact that they were practically bombarding her with countless gashes. Xero then attempted a round house kick at Satsujin and then jumped back. As she did Xero looked over where Caleb and Gexln were and saw a rather horrific sight. The girl Gexln knew as Kaxar was there and it looked like Caleb had just killed her. She stood there with wide eyes and almost filled with fear knowing the anger Gexln would soon feel. "Looks like you've got it covered already." Valinton said to Kaya as he saw her and her sister fighting Louvel. Valinton saw the dark firaga and simply reached out for it with his demon hand. The dark fire was then absorbed by the demonic hand and Valinton felt a bit stronger afterwards. As the boy charged at him, Valinton let out a small laugh. This kid had guts to charge at him like he was, but would it be enough to defeat him? Valinton rushed toward Dusk and charged his demonic hand with a dark aura. Once the boy got close enough, Valinton slammed his palm onto the boy's chest and released a lethal spiritual pulse of dark energy to attempt to knock Dusk back. Ooc: Ugh, posting at 4 AM. If something doesn't make sense, just ask me.
Xero parried the sword's blade with her scythe but failed to see the electricity emanating from the blade, she felt a rush of electricity run through her and she let go of her scythe and jumped back. She left her scythe on the ground, for it wasn't safe to pick up at the moment from the electrical charge. She stood there frantically trying to think of something to do now that she was unarmed. Xero growled under her breath, "I guess I don't exactly have a choice right now.." she said. Xero closed her eyes and focused on all of her darkness, she felt it begin to flow out of her and when she opened her eyes a rather violent explosion of dark energy ignited around her. Once the dark cloud subsided Xero was in Anti-Form, "If you want speed, you've got it!" Xero said as she waisted no time and rocketed toward Satsujin at a blinding speed and then began to bombard him with multiple punches and kicks.
Xero heard R shout at her to go help Gexln but as soon as she was about to take a step forward, lightning suddenly struck in front of her. This startled her and knocked her back but she caught herself before she could hit the ground. She held her scythe tightly as a man suddenly appered from the bolt of lighting. R seemed to know the man and she suddenly saw a sword being pointed at her. She just looked at the man confused as to why she seemed to be his target. But this was a war after all, she guessed anyone could be anyone's target right now. Suddenly something was thrown at her, seeing this Xero quickly bent backwards and saw that it was a knife that was inches from her face, she stood back up and ran toward the man and slashed at him with her scythe, creating a crescent-shaped beam that shot out of the blade and toward him.
Xero looked over to Xindai as he answered her question, "Knowing you, I'm guessing you've already figured out what our plans are for this war." She said. Xero suddenly saw Caleb use that same ability she saw him use when she first fought along side Gexln against him. As Gexln shielded R, Xero summoned her weapon and shouted, "Dark Barrier!" When she did a barrier appeared and deflected the weapons away from her, lucky she was stronger and could keep the barrier from shattering this time. When the weapons ceased, she saw Gexln take Caleb somewhere else. Xero then ran past R and toward the boy who deflected R's attack earlier ((Beuce)), and jumped in the air and swung her scythe downward at the boy as she descended from the air, "Black Shockave!" As her blade made contact with the ground, a shockwave of dark energy exploded from the scythe and quickly shot toward anyone around her. As Valinton arrived to the battlefield, he noticed everyone was already in battle. He took out his two Katanas and dodged the blades that came toward him and then looked over to see Dusk. He then ran over to him, his swords ready to attack. As Valinton ran toward him, he charged up a sphere of darkness then once he got close enough to the boy he launched the sphere at him.
Xero was a bit surprised after she felt Gexln hug her back, she honestly didn't expect him to.. Her face then began to have a small hint of red around her cheeks. "It's me, of course I'm going to do something reckless. No need to worry though, I'll be fine, I don't think the people on the other side have anyone that'll cause me trouble" as Gexln let out a small laugh Xero smiled a bit and she let go of him. "Besides, if anything does go wrong you'll be there to have my back right?" She heard Gexln say as he walked through the corridor. She then let out a small laugh as she said, "Yeah.." and followed him through the corridor. Xero looked around to see hundreds -no- millions of Keyblades stuck into the ground. She looked over to Gexln as she spoke, "Where are we..?" She looked around the barren wasteland of Keyblades to see if any of the lights have arrived as well but didn't seem to see anyone yet.
As Kingdom Hearts revealed itself in the sky, Xero looked up at it as did everyone else. To her, it was a rather pretty sight, but knew that it was now time for the war. She swallowed back her fear and took a deep breath and then exhaled. She noticed that Gexln looked over to her, "You ready for this? Once we step through here, there's no going back." Xero walked toward him and stared at the dark corridor. She then looked over to Gexln and took a step closer as she looked at the ground. She then wrapped her arms around Gexln and hugged him, "Just don't do anything reckless..." Valinton looked up at the sky and then over to Kaya, "Looks like this is it." He said, his expression rather serious, "You ready?"

R asked about the group's motives and Xero thought for a few moments. She wanted people to stop thinking the darks were always bad, she wanted the lights and the darks to live without feeling hostile toward another. "I want light and dark to live in peace, without feeling hostile."
Xero just gave Gexln a frustrated huff and averted his gaze as she crossed her arms, "Why do you keep doing that?" She frowned as she spoke, "You keep answering my questions with another question.. How am I supposed to know?" Valinton looked over at Kaya, "So, why are you apart if the dark side?" He asked rather curious of her motives. To be honest he himself didn't exactly know why he became apart of this group, all he wanted was revenge in Xindai. And after R mentioned something about using Xindai in their plan, he mentally smirked and was rather glad he came.
