Isn't that physically impossible
rather presumptuous
(0:47) (0:09) D: what
Therefore the average is wrong! I've been getting this argument from a bunch of different people the last few days and it REALLY annoys me. You happen to be a statistical outlier? That doesn't suddenly mean the other 10 million or so people suddenly stop existing. The world doesn't end with you. And with that snazzy segue, the most recent example. Electronic Arts recently released a controversial statement saying gamers don't like change. Someone strongly disagreed, and I said that on average that was pretty true, pointing out how stuff like Assassin's Creed or Call of Duty break ten million units sold every year. The reply was "Oh yeah? Then why is one of my favourite games The World Ends With You?" I don't get it, why do so many people think that 'average' means 'everyone'? You can like whatever you want, it doesn't change what everybody else likes.
Wait, you mean to tell me that 2/7 of the people of the world haven't actually watched Gagnam Style?
Uematsu doesn't make particularly GOOD music anymore though. The Last Story's OST is really quite boring. Omnis Lacrima was Yoko written all over it though. And going by your recent update to the evidence... pretty sure it's talking about FFXIV
Because that means it's not Yoko Shimomura
What? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO D: This is the worst news I've heard all day
You realize Collectors are just pawns of the Reapers, right?
Er... why? I mean, it'd be a cool detail if the enemies interacted with the cape, but it's far from necessary. So anyways, I tried looking up the Lingering Will's animations, and I couldn't find a reel of that, but from what I COULD see, the cape anmations in that fight are canned. If they're physics based then it was a huge waste of resources, because as far as I could tell the cape did the same thing every time. And on the final point... weirder than watching the intro, seeing capes, and then the moment you start there are no capes?
Why would the capes be interacting with the enemies? It's just a part of the character, just another animation. Especially if they choose to simply add a canned cap animation to the existing ones, which wouldn't be ideal, but if they're looking for an easy way to do it it's that. And yeah, just having it in cutscenes is weird, but you know what else is weird? Having capes in the intro, and KH2
you fooled me for a second I thought you were talking about Pokemon
His hair doesn't catch on fire when he runs though
Wait, what variables? It's not like the capes would impact the gameplay. It's not like it's significnatly more likely to cause lag than them updating the models in the first place. Clipping might be an issues but... nobody really cares about clipping. Anyways, even if they don't do gameplay they could at least add it to the final cutscene for consistency's sake. Heck if THAT causesissues just make the final cutscene prerendered. Having capes in everything but the game the characters appear in just looks and seems awful
Doesn't the Flash become invulnerable when he goes fast though? So wouldn't that prevent his hair from being torn?
It'd almsot definitely be easier to retroactively add capes to the few scenes the armour is used than it would be tweak all the combat animations for each character. But what really bugs me is this WOULDN'T be that hard to do one way or another. They made THREE HOURS of new animated cutscenes as a bonus for Re:Coded, they can DEFINITELY tweak a few animations to make BBS the best it can be, especially if the capes are physics based
it's your hair's way of warning you. if too much gets pulled out you die. That's why most people shave themselves bald. it's defense mechanism
That stuff was the Disney worlds in Days, Re:Coded has the Disney worlds voiced. And there;s honestly not as much story content in Re:Coded either, like I said, mostly just explaining gameplay
