Nooooo, it was just a joke. I was pointing out some similarities between the two.
I'm listening to In Your Sea by, well, ofcourse The get Up Kids and the chorus is really getting to me. Doesn't anyone else think this band is absolutely amazing? I'm just gonna go ahead and assume that no one has heard of this band. Thank you! :D
o: heyy
What's Reno doing messing with the heartless anyway? Shouldn't he have more important things to do? >.> EDIT: NO WAIT I GOT IT. KADAJ AND HIS GANG ARE NOBDIES. And they thought Genova cells would make them somebodies. I bet Xemnas is jealous he didn't think of it first.
I really thought I should share this. it made me crack up horribly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qfZH_VPi3A
Two of the GREATEST songs ever, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2aDg3SOxQg Chinatown-Jets to Brazil and... This one is a music video, not live. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A927zcSSw2s One of the happiest songs ever Aside-The Weakerthans. EDIT: Oh! And Owen, how could I forget Owen? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyyDb3jXofA The Sad Waltzes of Pietro Crespi
Does EVERYONE on here listen to Linkin Park?
Ha, no problem.
I wish the May one was way cooler. =[ it's my birthday month.
For a second I thought this was going to be a fan video involving Bleach and Organization XIII. o.O
My friend has a sister who sings Taylor Swift very badly. >.< It's annoying as hell.
haha, Godddd, I used to love Crossfade. I can't help thinking they suck now, though. :/
OH DEAR GOD. HOW THE CRAP DID LINKIN PARK BEAT OUT BLINK 182?! I mean, they're not my typical genre. Yeah, with the exception of the ergs, I've given up entirely on pop punk, but Blink 182 can do no wrong! While Linkin park, I stopped liking them when I was 11. I pick neither.
Screamo? Whooaaaa, brings me back. it's weird, I found my As I lay Dying wristband last night. They were the last screamo band I listened to up untill I got out of the genre. I still have the cd. >.<
New orleans is haven for Ska bands. Less Then Jake is a really mainstream approach, I wouldn't classify them as Ska. Reel Big Fish, however, isn't too bad. my personal favorites would include Shutup Travis Skanamontapeia(sp?) Big D and The Kids Table The first two are local bands from here, really. But they have music myspaces. They're good places to start, especially Big D. Now, if you're interested in Ska with a much more punk rock/hardcore sound, I'd suggest the Filaments. They were the first ska-ish punk band I really got into. Make sure it's the filaments from the U.K., not the American version. And Vivi, you have 666 post! Woo!
Indie. Honestly, the soundtrack of my life is picked out by two bands. Jets to brazil and The Weakerthans.
Read it in 8th grade. I really liked it, actually. But..it just felt like it left something to be desired. :/
There's probably a thread about this already, but I don't want to have to go through the pain of bumping. So, what are your favorite band/bands? for myself: 1.Jets to Brazil above everything else 2.Jawbreaker, same singer, but before the he reached his prime in writing. 3.Brand New, it's weird why I like them, they're not my usual thing but they're still one of my favorites. :D
Not to be full of myself, but I think I'm pretty good with a guitar. :D I played trumpet for school and used to be pretty good, but I gave it up and now I play bass guitar and a string bass for school. I'm pretty good with a keyboard as well, but guitar is where it's at for me. Actually, i have a myspace for my own music. :D www.myspace.com/thatoneboysmusic
It's a bit hard to believe but if that were the honest case, I really wouldn't mind. But then again, I'm a boy. :sweatdrop:
