They never say his name out loud in FFX because you're supposed to be able to change his name. Even in FFX-2, they never said his name. It was just "You know... him."
Spoiler In mission 88, the Organization tricks Roxas and Xion into fighting, each thinking the other was a giant Heartless. How is this possible if the only one in their numbers who could create illusions (namely, Zexion) died in Castle Oblivion?
But Xion does look like Kairi. Maybe he was just surprised to see someone who looked like Kairi in the Organization, since he already knew Namine, and no doubt figured she was Kairi's Nobody. Was there anyplace that told what he saw the first time? Because, thinking about it, the look of shock on his face was a little too much for having just seen "Kairi". =/
Hm... my favorite might have been the Infernal Engine because it just took so much strategy to beat. It took me forever to figure it out, but when I did, I figured it out enough to beat it my first try when I replayed it on expert. My least favorite was that... thing you fight in Halloween Town... the coffin thingy with the hands that eat the Heartless? Yeah, I hated that one! I just narrowly beat it by luck. -_- Even with my best efforts, I kept just getting it down to ALMOST beating it... and then dying. I was stuck on it FOREVER. (Forever being a relative term because I beat the game in a week. XD) But... yeah... eventually, I just got lucky and actually beat it. Now, replaying the game on expert, that's the next mission I have to do. I'm dreading it. Trying to do challenges and stuff, partially to prepare, and partially to put it off. It scares me. ^^;;;
I'm pretty sure it's pronounced "Tai-dus". Wakka pronounces it "Tee-dus" in KH1, but that's probably due to his accent because Selphie pronounces it "Tai-dus" in KH2. There's a Shakespeare character named Tidus Andronicus. It's pronounced "Tai-dus" as well. Personally, I usually say "Tee-dus" out of force of habit, but I think it's pronouced "Tai-dus". =/
Yeah. No doubt it wouldn't have worked out well if they had gone through with it. It was a rash decision that wouldn't have gotten them anywhere, really.
Yeah, if you've never seen her face, it looks like her hood is up Spoiler But different people see different faces. When Xigbar looked at her face, he saw Ven.
Personally, I think she was just good friends with Axel, but I even starting playing the game EXPECTING to hate the couple RoxasxXion. I just felt a LOT of romantic tension, and it wasn't exactly subtle. I personally felt like it was even more strongly hinted at than SoraxKairi.
Yeah, I noticed that, too. I thought it was a glitch until someone pointed out to me Spoiler that it happens whenever someone who hasn't seen her face looks at her. It happened for the longest time when Axel looked at her, too, and some people saw a different face when they looked at her.
I'm fairly certain they planned on running away, and that the idea to go on a raft was very impulsive, and not very well thought out. Also, it says in the KH1 booklet (which I now lost but remember reading at some point) that Sora and Kairi were 14 in KH1, and Riku was 15. And about sharing a water bottle, they're, like, besties, right? I'm sure they shared everything. And they're probably not too worried about Mono on Destiny Islands, and even if they were, I doubt any of them kissed anyone but their mothers by that point. XP
Oh, you're right. I have seen them there. And, I might have heard that about Disneyland Tokyo, so I suppose they do have the rights to the characters, they just don't like to use those rights very much, not in the U.S. at least. (I've heard of KH cosplayers being kicked out of Disneyland, CA. XP) So... I guess Kairi technically is a Disney princess. I just don't know if Disney would categorize her that way. =/
She might have actually been a princess. "Riku" (as Ansem) refers to Kairi as a Princess of Heart. Sora responds with "Kairi's a princess??" And Riku (Ansem) replies "Yes." Whether he meant this literally or figuratively... =/ And if she IS a princess, she IS co-owned by Disney. Though, it does seem Square owns more of Kingdom Hearts. Disney doesn't seem to do anything with their rights to ownership. Nothing at Disneyland, nothing in the Disney Store, so maybe Square DOES own all non-specifically-disney aspects of the game. =/
Well, for one thing Spoiler Xion wasn't created to replicate Sora's memories, she was created to replicate Roxas's abilities, and started holding on to Sora's memories as a side effect. That's why she took Kairi's form. Also, she has a different appearance when different people look at her... I don't exactly understand why, though. Riku, Roxas, and Axel all seem to look at her as Kairi.
