I got put to sleep when I got mine taken out. I'm not gonna lie, it was painful afterwards, but there are definitely surgeries that are worse. I've had several and pain wise the wisdom teeth removal is at the bottom of the list when it came to pain. I just remember being really emotional because of the anasthesia(or however you spell it). It was pretty cool having the stitches in there, though. Be sure you have really soft things to eat. You may have to experiment with that, and see what is best for you and your pain level. But overall, you'll be fine, it's a really easy procedure. <3
