KH2 had a much better melee combat system being able to do different moves and combos but I didn't like that the worlds were more straightforward. I liked exploring the Disney worlds in KH1. I hate the magic system in KH2. It makes it more like magic is a non useful way to defeat enemies. In KH1 it felt more like you could use regular attacks and magic with each other to take out enemies faster.
