Are you sure about that? They may be in the same container format (AVI, MP4, MKV), but the actual video/audio formats/codecs can vary. Also, I found this list of WLMM supported formats.
For Dissidia, I found this group's FMV rips, which I assume are perfectly fine quality wise. However, I believe they're all in the MKV container format, which isn't known to work in many video editors. I have my own rips of Dissidia, in lossless MKV, and re-encoded MP4 and WMV formats. I will have to upload them if you want them for me. EDIT: If anyone is still interested in downloading my rips here are a couple of samples: MP4, WMV

Double checked, everything seems fine now. :)
Just found a fault with the new version, don't download just yet. :x I'll say when everything's perfect.
Finally got around to doing some actual testing this morning, and found that it was indeed my extractor's fault that the Jap Re:CoM FMVs were out...
The last movie I've watched was, "The Young Victoria." I think the most charming scene in the movie was the one that followed the scene where Albert was being coached in Victoria's tastes in theater, music and literature. Albert doesn't really put all this conditioning to use when he does finally meet her, but it helped in what it was meant to do. Just remembered, the last movie I've actually saw was, "Beauty and the Beast," the animated Disney version, theatrical edition. The special edition is nice too, but I don't think the additional sequence blended in so well with the rest of the movie. It's not that bad though, the "The Lion King: Special Edition" is much worse.
FMVs are different than actual in-game cutscenes. FMVs are pre-recorded video and they can be easily extracted. To get footage of in-game...
I don't understand what you mean when you say, "Make a KH2 video." I'm not in the habit of making AMVs if that's what you're looking for.
I remember finding the texture for Kairi's underwear. I even made a thread about it too.
There's a program by Jasc Software called Animation Shop 3. I use it and I find it good for exporting GIFs. It's available for $19.99 from Corel, the company that acquired Jasc back in 2004, but Jasc's servers still hosts the software and it's available for free download. I don't know the legality of downloading this software for free so I won't post a link, but it's been available for free a long time while Corel continues to try to sell it.
No, it will not. It merely copies the files on the disc to your computer's hard drive. Also, it's impossible to modify the contents of game discs as they are read-only. If you are worried about your computer, the application extracts and uses temporary files, which are automatically deleted upon the program's exit. If for some reason they are not deleted (this will happen if the program is terminated instead of exited), they can be found at "C:%HOMEPATH%\eee" on Windows and "~/.eee" on Linux.
It might have been just a bad rip, but if it isn't, I can't think of any other explanations. My KH2 NTSC-U/C version is also not from the "Greatest Hits" re-release, so our copies should be the same. Here's a screenshot of me using a different version of the extractor: http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t79/Roxllen/kh2recomfmv_debug.jpg Those numbers are the block position and size for the current file being extracted. Could you try extracting from KH2 using this version of the tool and tell me what it thinks your game's version is and what the block positions/sizes are? They should be exactly the same as my screenshot. Just the info on the first extracted file will do.
I'm guessing there might be something wrong with my tool's region identification feature. Can you tell me what platform you're on, what game you're trying to extract from, and what region your game copy was released in? EDIT: I've just tested my application with the various region versions of KH2 and Re:CoM, and everything works just fine on my end. So, there could be something wrong with one of my game copies, or your game copy. I don't know whether there's any differences between the original Kingdom Hearts games and their respective "Greatest Hits" re-releases, but if there is, that may have caused this problem, or it might be simpler than that: are you dragging each individual PSS file into PSS_demux, and not the folder itself?
I do not know how FRAPS works, but I guess it might have something to do with your system's sound settings. Make sure audio input is not muted and includes your computer's internal audio as a source. I think under Windows you can access these setting by right-clicking the speaker icon in the panel.
We already have three-dimensional motion-tracking with the PlayStation Move. I was in awe when I saw the Move's tech demo.
Use it to play a video game? With your hands casting all those shadows? I think it would be easier to manufacture and use a touch screen television than it would be to create a sensor that tracks player movement relative to a projector's display. If the processing can be done on a cell phone, why not just use your cell phone's display? It would be easier to pass a cell phone around if you want to share something. If you're looking for the ultimate potable device, it's the cell phone.
I like this movement, depth sensing technology, but I really don't see it being used as a portable touch computer, maybe as a replacement for a keyboard and display, but not a replacement for current devices like tablets. EDIT: There might even be more uses for it yet foreseen, but not as a toy gadget.
It would indeed be a miracle if someone can develop a tiny, full functional, on the body computer, with video projector and sensors!
