maybe ven is like sora's guardian maybe he can sense sora's strong heart and has to protect him so when hes older he can protect kingdom hearts
i was looking at the picture and i did notice that the shadow resembled riku as his 15 year old self but that cant be right because they are before sora's journey. maybe because in kh2 there was a door to the past maybe theres another door to the future
