OOC In this world today, video games are one of the biggest entertainment industries out in this world. Millions of people play these games in many different genres. In down time, these video game characters relax after a long day of being controlled by the many players out there. However, a dark evil has risen over the video game characters. It started innocently enough as a few characters were not seen. Some say there were just needed for a new patch of a game. It got so much worse. Many characters were then being to disappear as well, some extremely famous. Others are from unknown indie titles. Whatever the case may be, it caused a major panic within the gaming communities. The rest of the characters left decided to call this epidemic “The Missing Code” since they believe it’s a bad coding problem. The characters set out to find out what really happened to these characters and see if it's just a bad coding problem. They will see though that it’s a lot more than just that. Some Things to Know(If you watched Wreck-It Ralph, you should get the major jist of the rules except this RP is more focused on console game characters) -Video game characters only “permanently” die if they are outside of their game -Since there are so many copies of games out there, the industry creates one “blueprint” character. That character oversees how the other characters on discs perform and have to tend for them if the character bugs out or anything of that sort -Only one “blueprint” character is allowed at all times. There are no other blueprint characters -Console game characters and arcade game characters are not in the same community. They are both split into two hangout areas: Game Console Central and Game Arcade Central -Though arcades and consoles are split, they do still have friendly connections with each other (as well as rivalry) -Everybody Hates Teemo -GOTY characters gain extreme amounts of fame and are cherished by both communities Rules1. No God-modding/Power-Playing. I might accept it at a few times 2. Keep things around a level none over R rating (or M for gamers 3. For now, I’m only allowing people to have a max of 2 characters. This can be any 2 characters (2 heroes, 2 villains, mix of both). If the RP goes well, I may extend this limit 4. Let your shipping fantasies come true! Just make sure you have the other person’s permission 5. Killing characters is a no-no unless you get permission from me and the other person 6. Keep post lengths decent. Try not to have one-liners though it does happen to us sometimes 7. Please try to stay active or else YOU WILL DIE 8. I am NOT an RP master. Please feel free to send me requests and ideas. I might just use them 9. If you wish to use a character costume, please do. Just make sure to still sttach the original character's picture next to the costume 10. Any character works! Choose whichever game character you want! 11. Location: On board Train {} Mood: Sleepy/Sad {} OOC: Tiem to sleep for her c: On board the train, Sasha and Dennis did have some chat here and there, but she wasn't one to talk much in depth since the air in the train was tense. She didn't want to say anything that can ruin the tension even though she hated the tension in the cabin. She was still regretting on going on this trip. This wasn't a vacation. It was a trip to find who was behind all of the crap she could care less about. Even still...would she then lose her only friend? She didn't wan that. She wanted to cherish hat for a long time, maybe even forever. She treasured her friendships even when she was devastated years ago, but it was all one sided. She didn't want that anymore. Seeing how Dennis was tired, she smiled at him and waved at him. "Goodnight Dennis. Sleep well." As the cabin was slowly getting emptied, she sighed and stared out the train window, the outside dark except the passing street lamps. It made her sad. She could hear ambulance sirens go off in her head, reminding her of that horrific night. Is this how I should go on my life? Sis...it hurts just to think...She shook her head and stared at her feet. No...this time I'll make it work. I won't fail again! I don't want another person to fall because of me! She opened her phone and stared at her screen. It's been months since her brother texted her of his trip. It worried her. Usually, he would text her every now and then on his trip with his half-assed attempts of jokes he would send her that would make her chuckle. She slipped it back in her pocket. No use worrying about it now. Guess I'll just get some sleep and hopefully tomorrow will go well. She didn't bother going into the empty cabins because she was a noisy sleeper in some cases so she just sat their, laying her head against the train window, watching the lights fly by the train. Mom...sis...hope you're having fun up there...She closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep, wishing for once her dreams would be happy and not end with her waking up in tears.
I find this stupid...in so many ways. MS removed their futures because they were getting their asses handed over by Sony in sales. Do people really think petitioning this back will change all of that. They're a bunch of mindless fanboys. People were ARGUING TO GET THIS OFF THE XBONE. And now they want it back? If this passes, people are gonna then complain again from all its futures. My god I can't stand the comments in the petition, It drips of pure fanboyism.
Location: On board Train {}Mood: Neutral/Bored {} OOC: Goddamit I have a bad case of writer's block Seeing everyone hop into the train as it arrived, she looked up at Dennis. "Well it looks like people are going in. We should go in too. Don't want us to get left behind do we?" Without waiting for a response, she hopped into the train. As both of them got on the train, she grabbed a random window seat and placed her bag above her head before taking a seat.
Sasha staggered back a little after taking some shots from Kain. She glowered at him and pulled back another arrow, holding it before firing another Charged Shot at Kain.
Location: Home {} Mood: Somewhat annoyed {} OOC: N/A Sasha bit her lip after seeing Dennis' response to her text. She was half embarrassed, half annoyed. The real reason was because not only did she forgot the event, but she didn't want to go to it. She had no connections whatsoever to the murder of the people and to be honest, she didn't want to get her hands into the whole thing. Not to mention she didn't want to offend anyone affected by their deaths. She powered down her computer and grabbed her phone and headphones before making her way to the kitchen, grabbing a banana and a slice of bread before heading out to the meeting place. If Dennis really wanted to go, who was she to argue? After all, he was somewhat involved in the whole ideal. As a friend, she should support him at the very least. That's what friends do right? She eventually made her way to the station, tossing away her banana peel. She kinda stuck away from the group mostly because she still wasn't integrated with them yet. She also didn't want to make a bad start. Seriously, none of them looked like they wanted to make a new friend. Business was serious today and it's also that she too stay serious as well. On that note, she gave Dennis a small smile and a wave, not wanting to bother him if he was doing anything.
Hipsters everywhere. Just kidding. I like the old ones too. This is my downfall here because I never owned a N64 or a Super Nintendo, meaning I never got to play the older Zelda games, but I have seen others play it and man do I wish I could play them. I think the one major thing I dislike about the newer Zelda games are backtracking. My god there is so much in games specifically Wind Waker and Skyward Sword (at least sailing is FUN. FLYING BACK AND FORTH GETS SO IRRITATING). With Twilight Princess, teleport mechanics make it so much easier to get around. The only "old" Zelda game I played was A Link to the Past on my GBA. I very much enjoyed it. In short, I do prefer the newer ones mostly for the combat mechanics. Many of the older ones just make you mash the attack button to attack while the newer ones actually have more skills and attack moves not to mention some openness to their worlds.
Just watched the first episode...I dunno. Seems like there's a LOT of fanservice at the moment where it's kinda distracting me from the plot of the anime. I hope they tone it down a little so I don't get like drowned in large chests. It's a decent start though. Good incorporation of the game mechanics so far c:
Location: Home {} Mood: Neutral/Happy(?) {} OOC: Hopefully I can do more now that I'm done with my vacations for now... Sasha sat in her room, clicking away on her computer as she hacked and slashed her way through the dungeon. The next few months had been calm for her. After being released from the hospital, thankful to get away from that dreadful cot where she would be stuck there away from her computer and stuck with needles, she made her way home and locked herself in for the next few months, not making contact to anyone else...well kinda. She did attempt to make contact with some of her old friends only to be cussed out by them or just hanging up on her just hearing her name. It seemed her name carried a lot farther than the camp. It hurt her heart knowing she wouldn't be able to reconnect with the people she once loved and adored. It seemed that way except for everyone she tried to talk to except for one person. Dennis Baker was a kind person. Since that text from the hospital, she eventually talked to him more and more, even meeting up with him a few times (in secret though. She was careful not to hurt Dennis' reputation). It was her first friend she had after her release from her first accident years ago. He hung around her mind a lot. It made her wonder if they were more than just friends at this stage... She misclicked and got her character killed. She sighed and pushed herself away from the computer and looked outside. She hasn't talked to Dennis for a while. Perhaps she should text him? She did want to meet up with him again. She grabbed her phone and started to text him.
Comparing this to the dog situation is two clearly different situations. The dog wasn't really of a threat. It was just trying to protect this owner. This on the other hand is a clear sign of harm and even death. Any normal person would probably do the same in those kinds of situations. Thank god no one was harmed in that situation (except the person who was shot)
It looks really cool. I'm itching for a new JRPG to play. Other than Xillia, This is the other JRPG I'm targeting now.
And this is why I don't trust school lunches. This is sad news. I think this may have sprouted from the cause of ignorance and toughtless actions. How could this pass through lunch inspections? I'm pretty sure in USA, this would not happen (or rarely).
It sees like a small silly action, but road rage is a lot more dangerous than one thinks. In summary, road rage is something a person should keep in check. Even if the fault is another person, do NOT let your emotions take over. Getting into road rage is dangerous and highly increases the numbers of getting into an accident or being caught by the police. I've had many friends getting into close accidents on people nearby them who couldn't keep their temper in check.
Sasha ducked just to make sure she wasn't being targeted. After Kain made his shots, she jumped back to her feet and drew an arrow. She fitted it and pulled it back, but held it there as the arrow seemed to gather the wind around it a little. Sasha then fired off her Charged Shot at Kain. We gotta end this quick before major casualties rise up.
Blah it seems this is dead :<
Sasha smiled to herself as she observed the two men sparring against each other. They looked so childish fighting each other despite them both using weapons and all their fancy talk. It reminded her of her hometown here the little boys would always wave around sticks and swing them at another, yelling out such silly moves. It made her wish- BANG The gunshot startled her and she whipped around towards the sound, eyeing the man with the gun known as Kain...according to the mayor who will be next in line to die very painfully once she and the rest were done with Kain. "Well forgive me 'Kain,' but you won't be rewarding anyone. You defiantly won't kill us very easily. Besides, what kind of a man shoots a girl like that? Have some decency, even for a bad guy." She notched an arrow and aimed it at him. "Even if you kill us all, that won't stop an uprising. You should know what happens to such people killed in a fashion. Now enough talk." She let the arrow fly at Kain.
I'm not surprised at this at all. And to be honest, what's wrong with video games being a sport? There are major tournaments held every year and many people compete. I knew this was gonna be in the news sooner or later. A month ago, I went to Korea. When I entered a PC room, EVERYONE was playing LoL. Back then, it was Starcraft. I think this is an awesome thing for people to recognize video game as not only a fun activity, but also something that people can compete in officially.
A couple of wolves were barking and running after a figure dashing through the trees. As the figure hit the ground, she twirled and fired a shot at one wolf followed by another. TWANG! TWANG! Before she could fire a third one, the last wolf tackled her to the ground and snapped at her neck. She struggled against the wolf before pulling out an arrow and stabbing it in the side of the head. Breathing heavily, Sasha shoved the wolf off of her and brushed her clothes before closing her eyes and making a silent prayer. After that, she plucked the arrows off the dead wolves. "Man that's the second time I got caught! I really should brush up on my skills. No matter. I had my orders to go to that place." Plucking the last arrow and sliding it in her quiver, she made her way through the trees until she reached the City of Trees. She examined the area. "Humph. Seems like I'm not the only one here. Looks like I'm late to the party..." She made her way down towards the group of people, somewhat listening to another boring speech about the empire and their evil deeds. "I wish we could do less talking and more fighting. Though I do like the girl. All feisty and stuff." She smiled to herself, eager for the next plan of action.
After a while of waiting, she gave up from his response. Man...what a waste of time. I knew he wouldn't respond. Heck who would want to relate to me? With a heavy sigh, she walked back to her room. Perhaps she would try tomorrow. She got to her cot and fell asleep, unnerved by the next wave of antibiotics and lonliness tomorrow as she fell asleep. OOC: Sorry for crappy post. Time is short here.
Getting tired of being in bed, Sasha eventually got permission to wander about and not in bed. She had enough of sitting around being injected with drugs and constantly being questioned. Havjng some time to herself really put her mind at ease...and a bit of concern. She swore she heard some sort of screaming in the hospital, but she didn't want to point it out. She didn't want another reason to be stuck in the hospital longer. Speaking of which, when people are hospitalized, friends usually visit them. She flipped on her phone and looked around. It was lonely in the hospital with no one to visit her. Perhaps someone could? Her list was pretty full from numbers before her incident. She caught the names Dennis and Evan. She remembered befriending both if them back before the incident. One had a similar life like hers while the other was a kind of a fruitcake, always writing in rainbow. Mustering up the courage, she decided to send a text to Dennis. Evan kinda creeped her out with his colorful mood. She hoped he would remember her.
