I think the best thing to do would be to create a temporary site that the forum could stay at until the hacker got bored and moved on, or the until the admins were finally able to gain control of the site. It worked before for me, and sometimes the temporary site becomes more popular than the original. People like drama. ^^ If you wanted to advertise it to the members, I'd suggest finding a few key members with lots of friends that you can trust, and try to get them to distribute the info to the members.

Happened to me a couple of times...but it's not horrible to actually go out there and meet a couple more friends...and a real friend will let you on their computer! xD Try using the time to develop your artistic talents.
