Try equipping weapons that don't change colors in worlds that change your costume (Struggle bats or unused weapons) in all weapon slots (Normal, Valor, Master and Final). That should do the trick.

I suppose using Edge of Ultima or the Detection Saber might work as well. Mod the four last digits of the four last lines with the digits of the weapon you want equipped (0180 are the Struggle thingy's digits).

    002C = Detection Saber
    002D = Edge of Ultima

There are still other ways of using an actual Keyblade without crashing the game, though. One option is to use the codes posted in this video:

The code is jokered. You need to activate it by holding Select while changing rooms.

From what I've heard, the second treasure appears after you beat Reverse/Rebirth, and not by having a KH2 save (for the English version, in the Japanese you do indeed have to have a completed KH2FM save).

It appears that the extra cards (Roxas, Demyx, etc.) will become available at the Key to Rewards rooms once you beat Reverse/Rebirth. (We still need to confirm though)

Okay, someone on GameFAQs said that they DID find the Roxas card in Twilight Town after they've beaten Reverse/Rebirth. So yeah, it appears that you can still unlock them if you beat it.

I'm gonna wait until someone confirms the method to unlock them before I start playing the game, though.

My point is that they probably haven't even bothered to make it so they would become avaible. Which means that there is a chance that there might be no way to get them without codes at all. I've also seem people on GameFAQs saying that they did not get the Demyx card in Atlantica even though they did have KH2 data on their Memory Card, which means that they have indeed NOT unlocked them.

I think you guys should try finding a code that makes the extra treasure chest containing the extra cards appear in the Rooms of Rewards (and test it on every world, to make sure that it works on all of them). I'm VERY looking forward to that code... So much, in fact, that I don't even want to start playing the game without it. So yeah, I'd be really grateful if you could do it once you're done playing the game.

Anyone know if the extra cards you could get in the Key to Rewards rooms (or whatever they're called) in Japanese version with a Final Mix savestate were unlocked in the overseas version or something? If they weren't, would it be possible to find a code that unlocks them? I bet that's a code that everyone would like. I also hope it'd be safe to save with it on and stuff.

Xemnas (Limit Cut) is an ally

The first line replaces Donald with Limit Cut Xemnas and the second makes him an ally.

I'm fairly positive that KH1 and colored Soras do work (those are the only ones I've managed to get to work). Not sure about Roxas, I still have to test it. And no, I'm not a coder.

Well, you know that your Keyblade changes color when you are in worlds that change your costume, right? It becomes blue in Space Paranoids and kinda grey-ish in Halloween Town. That's what makes the game crash, it appears that they won't work outside their worlds and therefore you need to equip a weapon that isn't affected by that system.

As for Donald and Goofy, you can place their Timeless counterparts in the party using the UCM, but I don't know how to prevent the game from crashing with them (perhaps you could equip Test the King on Goofy, but I don't know about Donald).

And here the other Sora costumes you asked:

    Halloween Sora
    E007FFFE 0034D45C

    11C6CC30 000003E9
    11C6CC32 000003EA
    1032E020 00000180
    1032EE24 00000180
    1032EECC 00000180
    1032EF04 00000180

    Tron Sora
    E007FFFE 0034D45C
    11C6CC20 00000656
    11C6CC28 00000669

    Timeless River Sora
E007FFFE 0034D45C (Select Joker, replace FFFE with your favorite button's digits)
11C6CC20 00000657 (Timeless Sora over normal Sora)
    11C6CC28 0000066A (Timeless Valor)
    11C6CC2A 0000066C (Timeless Wisdom)
    11C6CC2C 00000961 (Timeless Limit)
    11C6CC2E 0000066E (Timeless Master)
    11C6CC30 00000670 (Timeless Final)
    11C6CC32 00000672 (Timeless Anti)
    1032E020 00000180 (Sora equipped w/ Struggle bat)
    1032EE24 00000180 (Valor equipped w/ Struggle bat)
    1032EECC 00000180 (Master equipped w/ Struggle bat)
    1032EF04 00000180 (Final equipped w/ Struggle bat)

There you have it, a code that makes Sora and all of his forms Timeless style along with a description of what each line does. You need to use the Struggle bats so the game won't crash (equipping other weapons make the game crash if you don't use the right codes to get around it). Also, if you're planning on using a code to make Wisdom/Limit/Anti to dual-wield, you'll have to equip them with Struggle bats as well.

I prefer the KH1 costume. I mean, come on, he gained a totally new outfit just for that game and then they decide to just dump it like that? The AC look is okay, but the Buster Sword wrapped in those bandages didn't fit it at all, it worked WAY better on its original look. Another detail that makes me like the KH outfit better is that demon wing he had, it was a nice addition they added (not to mention the Sephiroth reference). I would have liked it better if they had kept that outfit.

So yeah, the Japanese versions of the KH games always have the configuration to fit the Japanese way of playing (O as Confirm and X as Cancel). The overseas versions changed it so it would fit the American way of play (X as Confirm and O as Cancel) and therefore the functions of the Attack and Jump buttons were reversed as well. Which configuration is better in your opinion? I suppose a lot of people are gonna say the American because that's the configuration they're used to or such (if they haven't played Final Mix, of course). But, is it really that better?

In my opinion the Japanese config will always be better, because it's the ORIGINAL, the one the creators of the game intended it to be. I think it's ridiculous that they always have to mess this up, it really is quite unnecessary and stupid. Why can't they do like in the Xenosaga games and keep it intact? It would save a lot of modding to do as well (such as the O/X button images in the Atlantica songs, for example). Not only that, but also because it's easier to use. In KH1 Atlantica, it makes it easy to figure out which buttons makes you ascend or descend. Square is above X, so of course Square ascends and X descends. In the US version, you had to guess which button does what and keep trying until you get it right. Then, in KH2, you had to press Attack button and Triangle at the same time to do the Limits at full power and also to dodge Twilight Xemnas's final attack. It's a breeze to do it with the original config, since O and Triangle are very close to each other, but X is hard to use with Triangle.

    Any thoughts? Discuss.

Reposting. Already tried unjokering both codes but it still doesn't work.

By the way, Carey, it's good to see that you're still working with codes, but do you think you'll be able to find a new Roxas's Keyblades code? I'm still looking forward to that code (even if they don't work on all enemies or with all characters).

I need help getting the Pajama Roxas Model code to work. These are the codes I activated:

Sora = Roxas (with Reaction Commands)
    E002FFFE 0034D45C
    11C6CC20 0000005A
    01C9572F 00000001

    Pajama Roxas Model
    E004FFFE 0034D45C
    01CB9937 0000005F
    21CB9938 5F43504E
    21CB993C 414A4150
    21CB9940 0053414D

Both of them are jokered to Select, so once I press it it'll activate both at once. But when I try activating it, it's still him in his Twilight Town outfit. I also tried unjokering the model code, but the result was the same. Can anyone give me instructions on how to make the code work properly?

Does anyone have a code for Sora to be automatically equipped with a Struggle weapon (any of them) as his main weapon? And also to have all forms automatically equipped with a Struggle weapon as well. I'm asking because it would be a lot easier to play as world costumes if we could equip him with a Struggle weapon (it wouldn't crash because they don't have an equivalent in their worlds). Please?

So has everyone lost interest in the Roxas's Keyblades code? No one is willing to re-hack it? It looks like a really cool code. A shame, really. =(
