This question again? ._. Anyway, if you want to start the game with quite a balanced character, pick the staff and ditch the sword.
Sorry, but I'll have to disagree with most people here. If you want to play as Cloud, go play FF7, that's his game. In KH, he is just an unimportant character with a small side-story that is just there to please the fans. At least in KH1 he had some relevance in the Coliseum, but still, you can't compare his small relevance to that of the Disney characters, who were overall much more important than he was. If they were to make more characters playable, they would most likely make the Disney ones, because they're much more important and more relevant to the plot than him. Making a small character like Cloud playable without making the Disney ones also playable would be a pretty irrelevant move.
Yeah, there was a translation ground called TransGen that released a partial patch for Re:CoM (when we used to think that it had no chance of coming, of course). But so far they've not expressed much interest on doing further KH translations and since they're focusing on other projects right now I wouldn't really count on seeing a Final Mix translation anytime soon. Don't expect it done for a while... The translation guide should be already more than enough anyway (not to mention that a patch could make the game glitchy and such).
You don't need to know any Japanese at all. Translation Guide. http://www.stanford.edu/~darthur/kh2.pdf http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/935702/50361
It freezes because the system that changes the weapon's color doesn't work well outside of their worlds. You can try equipping a weapon that isn't affected by that system, such as a Struggle bat, or using a code for world Soras to wield neutral weapons (it's on the first page). Sora is equipped with Struggle Sword 1032E020 00000180 Also, if you want to play as Drive Forms in Christmas outfit, you'll have to use the UCM to replace the Forms with their Christmas counterparts and equip each one of them with Struggle bats. Search for the code, it's been already posted.
I started with my brother's Mega Drive. The first games I played were Sonic 1, 2, 3 & Knuckles and Street Fighter II. I remember that Street Fighter II was too difficult for me, so I used the second controller to beat all the fighters and spent the whole afternoon trying to beat Vega (Japanese name, the dictator in red outfit), I liked to watch the endings even though I couldn't understand them because I didn't know English at the time.
If strength is what you're looking for, Holy Pumpkin is much more worthy a choice than Oblivion. It has the same Strength and has a Combo Boost, which definitely makes it much stronger than Oblivion. Heck, it's even stronger than Ultima and Fenrir.
You think being Mexican is bad? Let me tell you about my country, then. People from outside think that this country is all about jungles, beaches, and hot babes. They think that the streets are always infested with monkeys and other passing animals. Not only that, their general image of men from this country are just delinquents and vagabonds or other things like that, and even worse is that women are always just seen as whores or prostitutes. If they receive a woman from here in an international airport, they already go assuming that she's going to a brothel or other kinds of prostitution houses, if what I've heard is right. Not to mention that Mexico is probably a much more developed country than this one, so yeah, your situation could have been a lot worse.
Trinity Limit. It was pretty much the only Sleight I used.
Final and Limit Forms FTW. Anti was also fun to use despise all of its flaws.
1032E020 0000021F 1032F01C 000001F2 That should do it. Activate it along with a code to play as DW Roxas and he should be automatically equipped with both keys.
Quoting this for those that can't get a grip.
Hmm, the Room Mod is the one code that allows us to warp to boss battles, right? If so, can anyone give me all the digits? The ones I've found so far only lead to regular locations, not the bosses themselves. Other than that I only have the 1000 Heartless digits.
If you want to start with a balanced character, get the staff and drop the sword.
He was pretty useful because of those Potions of his... It's nice to have an ally that heals you. Other than that he was pretty much as good of a fighter as Auron and Aladdin. If you want an USEFUL ally, though, use a code to get Cloud into your party. Not THAT'S a beast for you.
I actually thought he was one of the strongest party members in the game (excluding the ones that don't join) - if not THE strongest. Maybe even more than Auron or Riku... Probably not though... Yeah.
In terms of looks and likeness: Kingdom Key, Oblivion, Oathkeeper and Ultima. In terms of gameplay: Holy Pumpkin, Rumbling Rose and Ultima.
It's helpful when you want to reach your finishers faster for dealing most damage and also for doing some minigames for completing the journal.
Here's a nice possibility: Riku is always in Dark Mode. Just because he isn't wearing the cool dark suit doesn't mean he wasn't in Dark Mode. If that is the case, then he lost to Roxas WHILE IN Dark Mode. Not to mention that the Ansem form is probably much more powerful than just Dark Mode, as already mentioned.
English (if it were Japanese, it would be O instead of X). It's from the first page.
