Trying to come up with interesting discussion topics is hard. Also did not know where to post this so if anybody feels like moving this to the Spam Zone feel free. I’ll start with a little story of mine. Basically a few years ago I suffered of OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder for those not acronym-savvy), and I was up to a point where eating meat produced horrible thoughts on my head. Up to this day these thoughts continue to rise everytime I see meat or attempt to eat it. Basically these thoughts say that eating meat was the same as eating what I am composed of, and everytime I see meat I don’t see it as meat, I see body parts, limbs, organs… What I’m composed of. Obviously this doesn’t applies to vegetables as I’m not composed of roots and leaves, or eggs, milk or honey as you don’t explicitly kill animals to get those out (And humans don’t produce those specifically). So yeah, that’s my story, so my question is, do you feel the same, or is for another reason you are a vegetarian? Or if you aren’t, are you feeling fine with eating meat? Sometimes I really wish I could back to eating meat but these thoughs keep coming back over and over. And I'm really tired of my remaining OCD. Don’t be afraid, I can understand completely (Open mind for a different view, after all).

I can symphatize with this actually, I used to play games like Resident Evil when I was younger because I enjoyed the thrill. I can't play too much Horror games today because I'm afraid I'll faint or something though. But about me, VERY easily, actually, like just yesterday my father forgot to knock on my door before telling me "Good night" and I went all "WHATWUTWHOISTHERE?", then noticed him and got mad lol. Like, when one is focused on something like the computer and somebody disturbs you without notice, it's easy to get startled.

You are too Godlike. No seriously, those shows were my only drive to watch Television back then. I would recommend them in an eye blink. Also I seriously need to get the time and date for The Legend of Korra season 2, it just started airing here not so long ago.
I actually LOVED Wreck-It Ralph, as I grew up playing on an Arcade, but mostly sticked to one game. Arcade Metal Slug 1, anyone? God that game was too hard for my age. <_< Also I can say without remorse I teared up at the ending. I've yet to see Frozen because well... I don't pay much attention to TV as of lately so I missed the date (As in, not because there weren't enough TV ads here, but because I simply choose to ignore TV altogether). That I absolutely know nothing about how the movie is like or got any recommendations to watch it, so I don't know if it's for me lol. It's nice to feel loved. c:

I actually did a cover of Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven and Queen's Too Much Love Will Kill You with vocals and all, but they were pretty bad because I barely had any vocal training back then. I do own a good mic but the on-board sound card is what it kills me. I might re-record Stairway to Heaven, MIGHT as it depends on my mood and how much I have improved, but keep an eye on my music thread and the SpamZone Lounge for any possible updates. So, going on about music and stuff... Has anyone given a good listen to Guilty Gear Xrd’s OST? Looking so far at it, Daisuke Ishiwatari is at it again, and somebody was kind enough to make “Remixes” of the themes (With Arc System Works’s permission, of course) using only his ear. To provide examples of the best two remixes on my opinion so far: (Sol & Slayer's themes) There’s more in that channel, by the way, the man has also remixed I-No and Potemkin’s theme and seems he is looking forward to doing the rest of the OST. Also, Dragon Install theme song (Fittingly called “Ride The Fire”) and Heavy Day, I need them in my life.

First of all, I did a search and found no results, so sorry if somebody already made this topic. Second, I don’t know if international bands are allowed but given I saw some posts talking about Japanese bands/singers well… Yeah… Third, I am not so sure if YT links are allowed, I saw some people posting them, so I think it should be fine. So yeah, terribly sorry if I have made a mistake of sorts (Yes, I did read the rules of this section, but one can still make mistakes). So who wants to talk about this band? I just discovered it literally yesterday, it’s a Neoclassical/Power Metal South American (YAY NATIONALITY PRIDE) band which what I listened so far, reminds me of a lighter version of Yngwie Malmsteen’s Rising Force. Some examples, to give an idea (The lyrics are in Spanish, but are safe for work, no swearing) also with my horrible translation (Because I don't feel like altering them to make them rhyme) in english of the first’s verse lyrics: La leyenda del Hada y el Mago (The legend of the Fairy and the Magician) “Tale tells of a magician Who in his enchanted forest he cried Even though of his magic He couldn’t find love at all The moon his only friend It gave him the strength to withstand All the pain he felt Because of his great solitude” La Llave De La Puerta Secreta (The Secret Door’s Key) “Hidden in some forest A door you will find It’s power it’s the way That can transform us” El Reino Olvidado (The Forgotten Kingdom) “Today that the men are lost In the domains of darkness From eternity They will return The old kings Will come with the tempest” So, that’s it, enjoy, or not, it’s your tastes and I can’t change them lol. I wouldn't recommend you to use Soundfonts, actually, some of them are borderline realistic but a 3 minute project with 5 Soundfonts can take around an entire hour to render in MP3 format given it needs to communicate with the sound card to get the notes, or something of the sort. I don't get it well either lol. And I said BORDERLINE, they sound too dry/rough. Haha, really? I've been studying singing too so I also have some vocal training. Yeah, that happens to everyone, my first pieces had horrible percussion (And even to today I make some mistakes on that) and the melody didn't had much sense, then I listened to Daisukes Ishiwatari's pieces and noticed they all followed a melody pattern. Yeah I'm also struggling to make a singable melody, or fitting the vocals fit onto the melody, I can't never get right what to do first lol. But yeah, you definitely have improved a lot, I would be more than happy to compose a piece with you any day c: (If you are interested, that is). Just telling you beforehand I never did a musical collab with someone before, I am not that much in the mood to compose as of lately, and I still have stuff to learn and improve upon (Specially Solos).
Same rofl, I just listen to individual songs, rarely an entire album. Honestly, I heavily dislike most current music genres out now, as they don't fit my tastes. I DO think there are some great bands now that play old genres, like Killswitch Engage. And hey, atleast you didn't suffer a school life without friends and of being used and bullied for liking anime until you discovered the internet like me. <_< But we aren't comparing who had the bigger sorrows in their life, so I'm sorry for you.
