Edward grimaced. "Of course I will," he replied. "I will be fine as long as she is near me when I do what I have to do."
"I can handle it even if you think you can't," Edward said a little defensively. "Let's just say that, according to my plan, I will be almost dying for her."
"Comes to what, exactly?" Edward asked.
Edward actually smiled himself. "You have no idea," he laughed quietly.
Edward nodded again with a small sigh. "That's fine," he said. "Just don't expect to be saving her or anything."
OOC: teehee! "I will allow it," Edward nodded reluctantly. "I just want you to know that I will be there when you talk to her, and that this lycan business that's bothering her won't be permanent; I will fix it soon, so you're information won't be worth as much as it could."
Edward turned to Michael now, not really caring about what Van Helsing would say. "So," he began quietly. "You want to speak with her?"
Edward smiled at Van Helsing and Jinx. "Ready to go, both of you?" he asked.
OOC: omg howd you two just show up and post at the SAME time like that? *brain fries* :D BIC: Edward smiled at Hannah and then looked to Beatrice, trying his best to not frown at Michael. "Yes, they're ready. Are Jinx and Van Helsing on the way yet?"
http://s234.photobucket.com/albums/ee306/darktowerjunkie19/ ^ ^ ^ hannah's lestat collection... theyre all MINE! lolzzz "If you say so," Edward sighed. "If you want this Michael to sit with us, that's fine. I can handle him speaking with you, but if he does something I don't like... that's that, alright?"
"I'll do it soon," Edward began suddenly. "I can't stand another moon, and I don't want you to have to suffer like you are now."
"What you have to do is in your own instinct, just like any other vampire," Edward replied, trying not to let his eyes drift to her neck. "You'll be fine if you do what I say, and trust me: what I'll ask won't be treatening to your own life at all. It will safe us both, if nothing."
Edward turned to her, his smile back in place again. "You won't," he said softly, placing his hands on her shoulders. "We can do it togther, and you'll be there, so what could go wrong?" OOC: okay, so i found this quote from an interview with brad pitt right after the filming of Interview with the Vampire. YAY! "You have to follow vampire logic-once you’re a vampire, male and female doesn’t matter."
Edward hesitated just slightly as he finished putting on Lexi's tack and drawing her toward the front carriage. "I guess I failed to mention it," he murmured with a small smile, and then frowned when he saw her serious face. "I told you what I have to do is completely against my nature, and it will kill me if you aren't there to... to finish what I'll start."
"I told you that this thing isn't permanent," Edward insisted, helping Sorin and Lexi out of their ajoining stalls. "It will all be over soon... I hope. I think I can survive to fix all this."
Edward nodded as they walked over to the stables. "I don't either," he growled under his breath. "I don't care how much Van Helsing trusts him or thinks he's useful, I don't want him around. We'll be fine without him."
Edward nodded and led Hannah out of the room, resisting the urge to yank her as far away from Michael as possible. They went down the stairs and he decided it best to speak his mind: "I'm sorry if I seem rude," he began quietly as they left the inn. "But, the truth is... I'm afraid for you."
"Yes," Edward replied, though he gripped Hannah's hand and glared at Michael. "We can get the horses ready, if you wish."
OOC: lestat? thumb? *dies* Edward led the way out of the room and across the hall, opening the door without knocking. "Are we interrupting?" he asked.
"Good," Edward muttered, smiling a little. "Shall we go nextdoor and see what everyone else has planned?"
