I agree. Games like TWEWY would not have been the same had the DS not been around. I feel like Nintendo has now tapped into the market of "Casual" gamers and they are gonna wanna keep that market. As for improving the experience, that could mean simply making the WiiU ground breaking like the Wii. But that doesn't mean they are going to focus on new, exciting, hard core titles.

We will see I suppose.

I wish it wasn't just a re-release of the DS version

The only problem I have with this and FFIV's remake are the stupid mini looking people. They look ridiculous. It was super annoying playing through IV when I hear Kain's wonderful deep voice only to see him in a stupid "child looking" form.

If they ever get around re making V and VI for the 3DS (which I think is the plan) I will be upset if they keep this model. Especially for VI which is a much more mature theme game and this style wont fit

I just feel like this isn't going to do well. I feel that people who don't know/never played this game are going to over look it cause of its crappy graphics. People are shallow some times and when there are shinier things out there they are going to over look stuff like this.

This is just pure laziness on Squares part. They say "no remake" but they will re-release this game to death. Its gonna burn out the wonder that is Final Fantasy VII
