"Don't underestimate them, if everyone just runs blindly into these tunnels the enemy can catch up and pick us off, we need a rear guard to hold them back if they give chase" Alastair said as he puled free of Kendric's grip, he was exhausted but he knew he had to keep the other safe from that woman, he also wanted to know about the spell that was cast on the group, "Kendric? That spell attacks dark Hearted people right? Then why didn't it affect me? And any idea who cast it?" Alastair asked as he struggled to keep up. Sarah stopped the magic attacks and picked up her pistols and reloaded them. "Can you guys here me?" she asked to her compatriots, she couldn't hear her own voice, a new plan to see if they could at least hear her "Tap my shoulder twice if you can hear me" she said as she holstered her guns, she had no idea how long a spell like this would last but she needed to know what condition the other three were in. She knew students had escaped and honestly it didn't bother her that much, in fact she was glad.

The Dragon looked at Vitan and walked closer to him, as if it was about to eat prey "Alyssa, no" he said patting it on the side "No need to worry, I'm leaving, I can see when I'm not welcome" he said mounting the saddle as the dragons flew up, the wind blowing threw the market as vendor stores were destroyed. Alastair flied until he was a few minutes away from the city and landed in a small oasis as he dismounted and started counting the coin he had left.
"Nope" Alastair said just before a loud roar echoed threw the whole city as a black dragon flew over the city, people screamed and ran for cover as the dragon landed in the market place and let out another roar, the guards all took cover as Alastair walked up the dragon. The dragon had a saddle on its back and Alastair tied his sack of food to it as the Dragon eyed the people trying to hide from it "No eating" he told the dragon as he scanned the market "This is not going to go over well" he said to himself.
"Aria" Alastair said as he stood at one of the stalls stocking up on meat again "And Seraphim" he added quietly as he paid the vendor and moved to another stall. Just as he finished again the same guard from before came back. He had more guards with him then before. Before anyone did anything Alastair pulled out a small wood whistle and blew into it, it didn't make any noise as the guards surrounded Alastair and the young soldier Vitan. "Time to pay up" the Guard said. "I feel like we have been here before" Alastair said sarcastically.
Alastair looked the man over before gathering and dusting of the food, for a human these were still edible but his dragon, no. "Here" he said as he handed the man the sack of food "You need this more then me from the looks of you" he said as left to buy his provisions again "And watch where you walk in the future" he added as he bought another sack, he had plenty of money this was hardly a dent in his pocket.
“If they want to kill me they will have to try harder than pushing me into the ground” Alastair said standing back up and dusting his clothes off, his bag of freshly bought food spilt all over the ground. Alastair looked down on his now spoiled fresh food “No” was all he said quietly as despair entered him “Now how am I meant to cross the desert?” He asked himself, the food wasn’t meant for him, it was meant for his dragon and she would be too picky to it now, ‘Maybe I could feed this guy to her’ he thought to himself.
Even though she was blinded, deaf and unable to sense magic Sarah was still a dangerous threat and knew the students were running away towards the tunnels since the elevator was now gone, she drew both her guns and without speaking she calmly aimed at the entrance, she started taking pot shots at the entrance as the sound of her guns shooting echoed through the basement. Alastair blocked what he could with water magic by creating walls of water between the students and aggressor, but he was exhausted by Sarah’s earlier attack and his spells were slow to form as bullets got past his defence. As soon as the gun clips were empty Sarah stopped firing the guns and dropped them as she used wind magic to create a blast of air that swept through the basement knocking anyone unprepared off their feet. She then fire magic to summon fire balls and launched them in random directions hoping to hit anyone remaining. Alastair was sent flying from Sarah’s wind attack and landed on his back and injuring his leg, he was unable to protect the students anymore from the fire balls as they scattered across the room, he had done all he could as he made his way towards the tunnel, shielding himself and others until he reached the tunnel. Once there he gave up on trying to protect the others and simple limped through the tunnel, but he kept an eye on the rear of the escapees making sure that the teachers and their allies didn’t catch up.
Alastair arrived at a Saradi city, his travelling companion and dragon remaining far away from the city as to not attract attention. He had only left vision the other day and would rather not attract attention before his returned to gather allies, all he wanted to do was gather supplies for his trip across the desert in a few days. “Hey you!” a guard called out in his direction, though calling him a guard was a stretch, he was a mercenary wearing army colours at best. “What?” he asked impatiently as the guard and his cronies approached. “You’re a foreigner and all foreigners must pay a small discreet tax to enter and shop in this city” The guard said, his friends snickering. “So in other words you’re really trying to extort money from me?” Alastair asked bluntly. “No” the Guard said quickly “This is a legitimate tax to help fund the guards that protect the city, without it you might find yourself without our protection” “Not that I need protect, but what you are really saying is that if I don’t pay your extortion you will have me attacked in a dark alley somewhere” he said as he walked past the guards and headed into the market place.

Alastair stood, he didn’t want to run, but he knew he would have to, but he wouldn’t be the first to leave, he had to make sure the others escaped, if the spell holding them back stopped he would test his new water magic on them, it probably wouldn’t work but the others needed as much time as possible. “GET OUT NOW!!!” he shouted to everyone who might be too terrified to move. Sarah sighed “Knew there would be an escape attempt” she said, she couldn’t see, or hear or sense magic, but these weren’t soldier’s, they weren’t coordinated, they were terrified children, at least most of them were. At that moment she summoned a ball of wind surrounded by rock and kept compressing it more and more as the layers of pressure built within it, it wouldn’t last long but she didn’t need it to and flung it at the elevators direction just as the door opened and flung it inside, as it flew past the students and into the elevator were the rock outside of the ball gave way as the compressed air was released violently destroying the elevator car.
I didn't believe it, already fell for another prank so was already wary, but it was a good attempt. always knew Misty was evil.

“Nadine, shut up, never underestimate people who are desperate” a female voice said as a female guard appeared, she had long raven hair and dark blue eyes “Now are you ready? We can’t afford any mistakes” She stood next to Nadine and looked over the students “Not the brightest bunch I see, will have to make sure none of them survive to make it believable” At the instance the woman was near Nadine, Alastair ran right at the new woman other the other students, using his control over wind he created an air tunnel to help him go faster but right before he could reach the woman he froze, his body refusing to move anymore “After all these years I expected something better than a head on attack Alastair” she said sighing as she sent him flying back with a blast of wind. “Now to all you students, anyone who resists will get a painful and violent death, so stay still and don’t try anything stupid, like him” she said looking down on Alastair who couldn’t stand. “Sorry about that Nadine, family business”
