I do not. Nothing has ever pointed to the existence of them, and it doesn't make any sense what so ever. I've seen videos of "ghosts," and they can usually be explained naturally. If they can't, I just consider it something unusual.
All you need to do is to back up your important files and format the HDD. Yeah, it's annoying, but isn't a problem, really. Unless the virus goes into the BIOS, which I don't think any "common," if any virus can. (Basically, what I'm saying is it's not a big deal) :] Didnt notice that this was said already -.-

Alright. Generally it's a good idea to keep it away from tight spaces, etc. If it has some sort of cooling mechanism in the form of a micro fan or something similar, you should take a look and see if it needs cleaning. A great spot to keep a router is either on the floor or on a shelf, with decent room around it. I don't know if you have that in your vicinity, if not, you should really consider it :)
Not if it's irregular and only slightly overpowering it.
One thing to take a look at when hardware without software overheats, is the power supply. It could be faulty and send out more power than it should, which can lead to overheating and will eventually destroy the router. (I'm being picky - that's not a modem by the looks, it's a router). Are you using the original power supply? Have you checked its output?

Rice and noodles is awesome. 1. Boil noodles and rice (Separately) 2. Fry them on a frying pan, mix well and put spices on it. Easy as hell to make, if you have kitchen appliances available.
