hi i couldn't find the current events forum - so can someone move this okay in Australia - today is Steve Irwin day, a nice way to remember how he changed the world, we've made a gold statue of Steve and his family (not me obviously like the government) and i believe they put in front of Australia Zoo Now just to remember his spirit and pay some respect - we should say his slogan and smile "Gday" :)

Hay, I went shopping with my mum to get me clothes for my birthday, and I look at the styles and they're horrible - first see clothes from the eighty's - fluro shirts which are 10 times peoples size with huge letters - then we walk into another store which had shirts which showed most of gurls breasts - I only managed to get one shirt and one skirt and that was all - 3 hours and that was pretty much all we found So my debate today is Has Fashion Taken It OTT??!!!

I don't know if you have these in other countires, but the latest new toy fad in Australia are called the bindi beads. Now recently discovered, if you swallow one (they are small) they turn to liquid ecstasy which has already put 3 kids in hospital, just over a month after it's release. Now should we let the kids play with them?, should we raise the age limit?, should parents be more careful?
okay - it's like everybody has something they can relate to. A fast runner might have a cheetah as their symbol for example Mine on the other hand is an angel - my name means the pure, im a goody - 2 shoes and everybody keeps calling me the innocent one - so it fits I really like my symbol though
i posted this morning about how I feared a girl in my school who turned my friedns against me (except for 1) when I was little People gave me really great advice, but most of it was sticking up for myself which is impossible for me a.t.m as i never got my confidence back Now I fear the one person who stood beside me through the whole ordeal may have turned her back on me - she doesn't talk to me, she says she'll ring me and doesn't and didn't even think of replying to me when i told her i was depressed (I was for 3 days) She's been my bestie since grade 3 - how can she do this too me I'm surprised I'm not an emo

Well a lot of people know me on this site.... I'm usually a happy, silly girl. So what has freaked me out all of a sudden Well when I was 6 1/2 I moved to Australia. When I went to school, I made a friend. Now we were besties till grade 3, half a year later, then she turned on me, bullied me, made me EXTREMELY SOFT, (im starting to get better), took all my friends against me (except for one... Love you Char) and I was so traumatised I left that school after another 2 - 3 years of it. So eventually my life turned around, I made a whole new bunch of friends, and was finally enjoying my life in Australia Until now...... Now I'm in the 10th grade, Now I'm in High School, and Now.. SHE'S COME TO MY SCHOOL!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT SHE GOT EXPELLED FROM HER OLD SCHOOL AND CAME TO MINE and she's already got people laughing at me... I'm afraid I'll have to move again I serioulsy don't want to I have so many friends, nice teachers (most of them at least) a great job, and i'm going on a school Japan trip I don't want to lose all that
okay it's true Kairi is short of Kairimasu in japanese means - to return - hah makes sense BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE Kai is also a describing word for an ocean so it sort of means water - but not quite my techer told me so im not wrong hehehe

I was watching one of my friends movie and I saw everyone of her friends doing the exact same subjects for school. I looked at my group of friends and the only similarity is were all crazy, we're going to be doing different subjects next year and it was one of the most important choices we will make (or so we were told), but were all so close and I love my friends to bits, but is it the differences that keep us together??
