I think I'm more nightmare prone to when I stay up late, but I've never had a nightmare where I've woken on screaming or crying, they disturb me and sometimes freak me out, but they aren't so bad compared to what they could be I suppose...
What a cold and cruel way of population control I can't ever imagine the world passing something like that...seems straight out of a sci-fi (with either Tom Cruise or Leonardo DiCaprio of course) I suppose though if I had 24 hours to live I would try to get heart surgery (it would probably be illegal to remove the capsule though) or figure out some way to disable it (electric shock?) ...if all else fails, I'll just live the last days of my life out... This seems extremely interesting. Terrible. Dark. But interesting.
I'm pretty sure I have not seen a thread about this...anyway, at E3 2009 it was announced that a new Metal Gear was coming not only to playstation consoles but xboxes as well. This Metal Gear is called Metal Gear: Rising and like Metal Gear Solid 2, features the lightning sword-weilding Raiden. Here's the trailer shown at E3 2010 First off, I'd like to say that I'm disappointed because these graphics suck...yeah, not true, these graphics are absolutely amazing. I love how the bits of metal/blood splash onto the camera. Metal Gear Solid is notorious for its cut-scenes...seems like this game will only have more.
In New York, we're notorious for being "cold-hearted." Not too long ago in one neighborhood was a homeless man literally dying on the street (he was bleeding) screaming for help, but since it was night, no one could really see the blood and just thought he was crazy, people just walked by him until he died. I've always been caring for the homeless, but an event like that made me especially want to be helpful towards them to prove the cold-heartedness attribute wrong. Still, I'm always careful because theres no denying that some people try to just get money for drugs and what not. Recently though I have not given much money to anyone homeless, mainly because at the time I barely have money myself (to give).
Um...yeah that might be true for a lot of places, but definitely not the areas affected by the oil spill. And it doesn't matter whether i like it or not. My point was, it wasn't really an effective supporting point... Well of course, if you look at it from the standpoint that the hurricane isnt continuing to go on, but thousands of people are losing their homes and being thrown on the street. I worked for a Human Rights organization last year dealing with the aftermath of hurricane Katrina...I still recieve updates about the tons of damage many of my former coworkers are dealing with.
I think Kristen Stewart is deserving of being called a hipster.
Shouldnt that be a plus? She'll be like the fastest one hahaha. I remember for one of my track meets I was really tired/didnt care so I chose to run in the fat kids' heat. I won. It made me feel good about myself.
This .
The tourist industry? Oh dear. How terrible...Other than that tourist comment, I'm not saying that what you had to say isnt valid, I just felt like in your previous post you weren't exactly doing justice to the disaster that was hurricane Katrina. Again, its hard to compare both events, since in Hurricane Katrina a lot more human lives were lost and what not. That may be true...but whose to say the Hurricane Katrina damage has ended yet either? Its not even close yet. Damage scale in terms of time seems pretty comparable to me.
D: I thought he was the King of Rock n' Roll?
ficksed it.
Um...while this is a horrible catastrophe, (this isnt a contest first and for most) this doesnt really compare to the damage, pain and strife that came from Hurricane Katrina, which, even 5 years later people are still suffering from significantly. And of course, media is incredibly biased, but I do think in this case it holds some truth in terms of the whole idea behind Obama's response. Obama is/has certainly responding/responded to this issue faster than Bush did with Hurricane Katrina.
There comes a time for every boy. An undocumented time, in which every boy must openly embrace it despite the fact that it may very well change his life forever. This time I speak of is when a boy becomes a man... ...you have not approached this time yet.
WATaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I got bored...and it was like on page 10.

Well, when you break humans down to the core, we're very animalistic. That being said, though we may be the smartest animals, we still have instinctual needs and desires, like the need to survive as a species. How do we survive as a species? Reproduction. How do we reproduce? Heterosexually. ...As others have said. Still, this instinct is kind of suppressed. Its not like we live purely on instinct anymore anyway... ...which I think makes it easier to grow up without them? I might be getting into a totally new issue here, but is it bad to say homosexual/asexual people (if you believe that being gay/asexual is something you're born with, not a chosen preference) don't have that desire to reproduce? I don't intend to offend anyone here, plus I don't know myself.
YES.aaaaaaaaaaaa
ahh that game...idk who'll win but for some reason I always lose...
