    ESR is the thing where you patch you iso then you burn it. IF you the ESR program on your PS2 it can play the game without any disc swap

    Yep there is a bit legality regarding this stuff, but if you own all the games and "rip and store the models yourself" there is nothing illegal)

    Regarding models: Maybe we should look into how the generations thing panned out and emulate from there. Surely models aren't that difficult as it seems on paper, but I could be wrong.

    Now available to translate. I assume the Xemnas battle is done, but I don't see any english script in there.

    It is a shame. They never got around to dumping the 1.5 models and textures. Which would make this better than having use the bbsfm models. DDD hasn't been dumped :(

    I have search I don't think anyone could hack RE:COM sadly. But I agree if we could rig the DDD model to the high quality cutscene of KH1, then the RE:COM one to combat/fish face or at least re-texture combat/fish face then it would look better. I am sure Xentax is a better place asking for this, if anyone there is up for it.

    Man it's things like this that make me wish I can code. If I could maybe I could change this community[DOUBLEPOST=1375465214][/DOUBLEPOST]Here are all the models for someone else to get a good look. Anyone have 3DS max?

    Found the Cutscene model Sora. The BBSFM(DDD) one is indeed one used for cutscenes, however the KH1 cutscene model has

    14 meshes,12 textures and materials, 408 bones

    So the KH1 cutscene model compared to the DDD, KH1 Sora has twice as many bones and the textures are more split up. But DDD Sora still has twice the resolution in texture.

    I still want to see how 1.5's model compares, but no one has dumped it yet.[DOUBLEPOST=1375464477][/DOUBLEPOST]Here is how all three match up

    Read the instructions. For me I used the ARD checklist plus world codes to choose which world to fully translate. Once you picked your ARD put it in the ARD reader (not edit) and it will give you the HEX readings in those txt files. You then must put the HEX in Crazycat's string table (Have it set to just Final Mix EVT). You will get the Japanese text there

    Hey Hidden Smithery. I will try to see if the Sora BBSFM file (The one from DDD) is feasible with this game that's the model they used in 1.5

    The PSP models should have the same polys as the PS2 ones right?[DOUBLEPOST=1375417165][/DOUBLEPOST]Ok so far

    BBSFM(DDD) Sora has: 9 meshes, 4 textures,4 materials, and 205 bones

    KH1 Sora has: 7 meshes, 7 textures, 7 materials, and 293 bones.

    They are somewhat close. I have a question though. I wonder if we can use the BBSFM model and put it with the KH1 skeleton surely.


    An interesting thing to note is that BBSFM/DDD Sora model's texture size is twice as large in resolution and more detailed. I don't know if the KH1 Sora model is the cutscene or combat model. The DDD one looks so good, no wonder they replaced the KH1 with it
