I wouldn't worry about that sort of thing, but you should wait till you've seen all of it so you could comment on whether or not you liked it. I love Ryan Gosling, and "Drive." It's a "Shame" he didn't get any Oscar nominations. I forgot to mention in my last post that I also saw "In a Better World" (2010). Some events and dialogue in that movie felt a little contrived.
Until Disney Channel shows a penis.
It's almost driving me to digital piracy, and sharing those pirated copies with all my classmates, therefore collectively saving about $2,000 (assuming $100 price tag with a class of 20 students) for each of my classes. Not to mention the energy and time saved that would have been used trying to buy a physical textbook and carrying it around, and then trying to sell it back at the end of the semester. Thus lowering college students' stress levels. But this would be WRONG.
I saw "Shame" in theaters yesterday. Inspired me to write a story based on it. The movie I saw before that was "An Education." I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that the two movies shared the same leading actress as two totally different characters.
This story, "Night Drive," was very loosely inspired by the movies "Drive," and "Shame." Part One was inspired by the song "Nightcall" by Kavinsky, and Part Two by the film score "Brandon" by Harry Escott. It still may be continued. It hasn't been placed in Original Works because it uses character names and dialogue from "Shame." I hope you enjoyed it.
The last movie I saw was "The Virgin Suicides" (1999). Spoiler: More Movies The past couple of weeks I've had plenty of time for watching movies. Here's the list of the one's I've seen, by most recently watched, since my last post in this thread: The Virgin Suicides 50/50 Drive Black Swan Melinda and Melinda Departures Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera Lost in Translation Apocalypse Now Crash The Diving Bell and the Butterfly Flipped The Fall Somewhere Conviction The Kids Are All Right How to Train Your Dragon Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules The Eagle Incendies Ghost World Restless 13 Assassins Home Girl with a Pearl Earring Best Worst Movie Troll 2 Trust Contact Red Planet Where the Wild Things Are
So I am indeed taking it on faith that determinism exists the same way I'm taking it on faith the universe as I see it is here. The reason why I see everything as having significant value is precisely because I believe we do not have free will. We have unknowingly given into everything that has come before, and everything is affecting everything that is to come. Determinism gives a type of order to the universe. Maybe I'm a solipsist, maybe not, I just think determinism is a nice thought. I can not immediately remember the plot of "Akira," but I'll watch it again sometime.
I don't think there is any category for your collection of beliefs. You're neither this or that; you come to your own conclusions; you're an individual, you should be proud of that. Do not worry about whether or not your particular beliefs matches that of a group, the collections of beliefs that do are the ones that I find most boring.
Why would an apathetic person ever join Voxli?
LOL Me going off saying how Makaze is composed and levelheaded, this is probably why I find imagining him being undermined SO funny.
I downloaded and listened so I could find out what gender you are. My last post forced me to use a gender-specific pronoun to refer to you. Enough about sex. Anyone who reads your posts would be aware of these three traits. It figures that you in a car accident would remain with an amount of composed levelheadedness. I share these traits. But I'm not so belligerent, which is maybe that key ingredient that makes you Makaze.
The book, Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You, is by Peter Cameron, I have read three of his novels. The narrator's name is James Sveck. The film adaption has no official cinematic release dates for conventional theaters. Look at this one quote praising Someday: Now look at that again: The stock photo used for the cover for Someday: Wouldn't it go perfectly as your avatar?
The purpose of the game is to not get victims. How many people will put Kairi as their answer?
I'm programming a really simple, single question trivia game. The question it will ask is as follows: In the Kingdom Hearts series, who is Sora's lover? There is only one possible wrong answer. If the player answers incorrectly, the game will attempt to install a virus upon that player's computer. If answered with one of the dozens of possible correct answers the player is displayed a message: That is correct! Sora's lover is <answer>! If the inputed answer is neither correct or incorrect the player will be asked to try again. Here is a sample list of possible correct answers: Spoiler Riku Rikku Roxas Donald Goofy Naminé Xemnas BHK Marluxia Ansem Xion [...continues...] Here's the complete list of possible wrong answers: Spoiler Kairi I'm planning on making a web and desktop version of the game.
Have an option for sexual orientation in profiles, and have it displayed on each post.
I have no religious beliefs, but that doesn't mean I don't have beliefs without proof. If everyone only relied on evidence we would all be solipsists. Even though I think solipsism entirely possible, I do not believe in it (or at least: don't think about it), even against all evidence. I want to believe that this universe, full of individuals, capable of such beauty, is not just being played out for my amusement. I want to believe that the person next to me has thoughts, feelings and beliefs as well. It would be unbearable if I was alone. Something I do believe, based on evidence, is determinism. Despite believing that life is most likely ultimately meaningless, determinism gives me comfort with the thought that everyone, everything, even tiny grains of sand, are significant and precious in some way. Sorry if I seem to be quoting the movie "Contact" at times, just bought a copy of it on Blu-ray and it recently has become one of my favorite movies of all time.
Letters under pen name == RL Emails under username =/= RL
When I started my level one file in Final Mix I chose the sword, which in retrospect was a huge mistake! Any single attack later in the game will almost certainly kill you anyways. Should have realized this sooner.
Makaze reminds me of a certain depressed character in a novel, the first one that speaks: Sorry, been reading this novel again for like the fifth time.
