historical fiction its about revolutionary war times. its sad. a slave boy is raised in a house of artists and scientists while they give a classical reniassaince education. they want to see if slaves can grasp that knowledge. its fantasy in that they do some weird illogical experiments. anywho its sad but very intersting historically because that kind of thing did happen. unfortunately i forget the author. age group's teenage and above id say. it gets a bit graphic at some points.
