i once heard a theory that proposed that, just as cells make a person, organisms make the planet alive as well. I'm undecided as to what to think of it, but what do you guys think?
human populations around the globe will probably be severely reduced. there will probably be some degree of radiation poisoning to most of the surviving population. I dont think ALL of everyone's nukes will be used but if a portion of them are ecosystems everywhere will probably be greatly disrupted for a couple centuries. However, i think in a realistic scenario human populations will probably EVENTUALLY start an upward trend after a couple centuries but progress will be slow.
eventually we do all have to face facts that, barring a technological or scientific or even spiritual (possibly) miracle eventually we'll all die out. I mean who knows, we may discover a way to release the mind from the body or something like that but we are almost definitely screwed eventually.
with everything going on at once in the world nowadays do you think that humans will prevail or fall? What i mean is will society be able to sustain itself for about the next 100-150 years or will it crumble?
