Well, right now, I believe we're just waiting for a way to edit the extracted files so that the translating can finally begin. It's just that one of our two main tol makers has a lot of stuff on his plate atm, so it's taking a bit longer than expected to do.
I know that this is sort of a "dead" thread, and I'd like to not be a necromancer, but it's the most fitting place to ask.. On the main page I've seen that you can have anyone else in your two man party (usually Roxas and [Insert name]); with the exception of a single mission in the game where another code lets you have 3 people. Now, has anyone bothered to learn why you can only have AT MOST three people on that single mission? Were additional codes per-mission needed to be hacked, or was it not possible to have 3+ people in other missions... What's the deal? Someone please explain this to me.
I'd say it'd be worthy.
I'm hoping that Isa's heart will be freed. Saix is one of my favorite characters and I want his "true" self to have at least a semblance of happiness in the end. Honestly if the Kh-team wants Kingdom Hearts 3 to be the end of the Xehanort Saga then it only makes sense if everyone who is "trapped" (Terra, Aqua, Ven, Xion, Roxas, possibly Isa [and Braig for fairness]) gets "freed" and we'll get a bit gushy happy ending that will stay happy until the next big crisis decides to randomly appear. So to directly answer the question, 5 "for sure", possibly more if Nomura decides that Isa deserves to become human and get his friend Lea back, Braig if he decides if he can be redeemed in some obscure way (Not likely imo), and Vanitas if Nomura wants him to become a "real boy" for some other reason.
Aqua clearly isn't trying hard enough.
Hmm... Interesting. It might actually mean I didn't just waste all that time.
This isn't good.... >.< Have you peeked at the elf file to see what other text is effected? I have a suspicion that it gummi pieces and Journal names..
Well, whenever (if-ever?) he gets out there's more than enough people to help him re-piece his memory.
He's probably still there. I hope we see him again soon.
That sounds more like a play than a game. Sorry but if the next "saga" of games are like that then I'm pretty much done with the series then.
I'll see what I can do in the morning. At the risk of sounding stupid, is there a code that will add 1 (read: one) copy of the Light Seeker item to your inventory? Just so I can have it in the menu to test with. I don't care if it's visible right now, just something that puts it in the menu to select. EDIT: Well, it seems like I can't just re-insert the model. I'd ask TruthKey/KeytoTruth for advice but I've been bugging him a bit too much recently about the KH1:FM project... But I really do still want the Light Seeker to be it's own weapon. x.x I don't want to replace any of the other keyblades if all it needs is a model of it's own; if the item data is still there... All of my want. ;~;
I understand that; However, using KeytoTruth's modding station I have access to the missing model and it's various pieces, and can probably re-insert the missing model to allow it to be used. Hopefully. Maybe. So the questions remain, what is the code to get the item, and is there a way to figure out what model name/etc the game would look for so that when I re-insert the missing model, the game will find it, and use it?
Well, I have the model for it, it's keychain, a frozen version, item icons... If I knew what name the game was calling for, I could put it into the game (I believe) and then use a code to add it to my inventory. In theory, it should work. Is there a code to get the item?
http://dundundun.net/ O_O
I'm not sure if it is or not. :s EDIT: I don't believe it is. I guess I have to replace a keyblade with the modding tool then. :(
Yes. On the first page I BELIEVE this code should work for you. 9 Drive bars: 21C6C900 0A090964 Duel Wielding Roxas replaces Antiform: 11CE0B7A 00000323 The second one was made using the UCM. Tell me how it works out.
I just hope that whenever the worlds "awaken" that the Dream Eaters don't become Heartless or something. ;~;
It's actually the menu and nearly all of the gummi pieces, actually. It was translated using the ISO directly instead of the method that's being used currently. In any case, that is the last version that I have, unfortunately. Since then the font file was replace making pretty much all of my previous work pointless. The last thing released in the thread has been tools to extract and recompress the extracted files; if I understand everything that's been said correctly, no tool has, of yet, been made to actually edit the files themselves. I may be wrong, but that's my understanding. EDIT: Okay, after making a futile effort to try to make some headway, I believe that I was correct. The main files themselves, at least some of them, have been ripped from the ISO. However, the data that is within those files (text, images, etc) have yet to be further ripped. I'm not sure what patch you're talking about. If it's the one that I made by myself, the one that's hosted on Dropbox, the link has already been posted in the thread a few pages back.
Unless someone can help, I guess I'll just have to suck it up and use the code. :s
I believe you need 9 drive bars to use it. Do you have that? If not there should also be a code for that on the main page.
