Is it just me, or is Meet the Robinsons not given enough love for a Disney movie in the past decade? It's nowhere near the likes of Frozen in regard to financial success, and doesn't come close to the social acceptance and loving of, say, the Lion King. But it does serve as a wonderful vessel to carry out that famous Walt Disney quote.

But it doesn't just serve as a vessel. Truly, the plot is well thought out (when you disregard the amount of confusion that can be caused by really thinking how the movie should have worked with the inclusion of time travel). The characters were pretty deep too (again, disregarding the majority of the Robinson family who just have brief appearances). Overall, it was lighthearted and good-mannered, and was pretty smooth for a movie that was made during the fusion of Pixar and Disney. (Did I mention that the movie was primarily Disney-animated?)

Even though all the stops that could have been pulled out weren't, it still hits pretty hard at the end. I had my share of tears, if that counts for anything.

Besides responding the poll, remember to share your input on the movie. I don't want to keep believing I'm the only one who truly liked MtR.

Please don't kill me for using Picmonkey. (I only use PS for special occasions.)

And I was thinking about that after uploading. The centered ones are older than the rest, before I discovered an amazing thing called the rule of thirds. I was really inexperienced. #3 though? No excuse for that one. If I moved it to either side, there'd be other bits of the art (like shoulders and cloth and such) that didn't belong in the avv. The lighting is also no excuse. I'll try to do something different for that.

Finally doing one of these. A lot are avvs I've used in the past, and some are ones I never got to use.

Not that many. I'll probably have more at another time. Sources upon request for most.

Seventh Sanctum is something you'd want to use for rapid generating; be it of names, places, or powers. I don't know if it was included in one of those tumblr posts, because I didn't check the links. I have plenty of resources here, but most of them are generators of varying degrees of redundancy.

    Necrobumping magic. *twiddles fingers*

It's fine. Time flies when you're having a life.

You don't have to. I can bask in these vibrant rays of creativity forever.

    Wha-

I can wait until 2035 and I'd still be happy to see it.

    It wasn't that bad.

    5 - Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009)

The best spin on a Roald Dahl movie I could have asked for. Also Wes's directing. And Jason Schwartzman. And George Clooney. And Meryl Streep.

    4 - The Grandmaster (2013)

By far the most in-depth iteration of the story of Ip Man's life. The cinematography was surreal, for lack of a better word.

    3 - Thief (1981)

In my eyes, a classic in the neo-noir genre. 2nd favorite 80s movie, next to...

    2 - TRON (1982)

Young. Jeff. Bridges. And the visual effects were groundbreaking for its time. Although brought down by its archaic visual effects, it does have quite a great plot for a Disney movie. Unfortunately, it's beat by...

    1 - TRON: Legacy (2010)

TRON: Legacy is what completes the original. The original lacks advanced graphics that would enhance the experience, and Legacy lacks a good plot to match the graphics. Honestly, a great plot was wasted, and the whole deal with ISOs and Ed Dillinger Jr. was not explored. The whole thing seemed kinda put together haphazardly, but whatever.

At least we got to see Bruce Boxleitner.

Luminous ∿ I don't know if that'd work... But try it.
Other ∿ If you can add bits of data on the sig (like watermarks on a camera) like time, date, ISO, stuff like that, that'd be awesome as ****.

I am thoroughly convinced you are mentally evaluating us with all these threads for some bigger scheme you have planned. I'm intrigued.

Let me go by the classic rainbow:

Red: The color of blood, anger, passion, sex, focus, desire, intensity, and determination.
Orange: Thought, pensiveness, comfort, innovation, birth, sight, and heat.
Yellow: Energy, weakness, lies, betrayal, infrequency, evil, and death.
Green: Life, health, medicine, intelligence, and goodness.
Blue: Power, stealth, agility, cunning, motion, and strength.
Indigo: Sleep, apathy, calmness, peace, tranquility, and wisdom.
Violet: Depression, revenge, mental breakdown, disorder, and loneliness.

And most of us (more hopefully, all of us) never will.

When I think culture, I think of a mindset. Not so much a hivemind, but a shared vision that can be built over time, or come together all in a series of smaller events. Internet culture, per se, is a true culture, although most sociologists and anthropologists would have you believe the contrary. Our "culture", our group that we've established on a forum for a game for children under the age of 12 is more closely knit than, say, a clique including a few girls that go to the same high school. We understand each other more, we can relate.

I think that is what makes a culture: the ability to relate to one another in a foreign space; a culture should survive all mediums.
