Maye smiled, tilting her head. "Oh please Warden~ I didn't come here to get in your way. I was just rather surprised how you found her. Truth be told, I thought it was gonna be some wild goose chase all over the districts to find her. Would've made the whole thing much more fun going from place to place. But man, did you find her in just a matter of an hour or two. You should tell me how you found her once this is all over." She then turned to the white haired man that came to her. "Beuce was it. Pleasure to meet you. As much as you think of me in that sense, you shouldn't be mistaken. I really don't have the mindset of where you make your "pencil" disappear. Even if I was in a mood for magic tricks, I'm just a poor, fragile human being unlike the other girl you took in. Woe me~" She tossed away the empty bottle behind her which then shattered. "Alas, I should depart here soon. All this talk and nonsense of killing each other makes everything feel all the more dreadful. It's bad for me and my clients. No one likes a moody woman." She sighed, crossing her arms and staring at the fight between the two. "If things go bad, I might just have to act..."
After a bit of walking, she eventually reached the gates of the city. "Lovely little place. Almost good enough to call home." She meant it sarcastically. The walls were stained red from attacks. It looked recent as some prints looked brighter than others. Barbed wire covered every inch of the place And of course there was gonna be some sort of checkpoint to get inside. She sighed, taking off her belongings and giving them to a guard before being examined by a medical person making sure she wasn't infected. After a few more tests, she was let on through with her stuff. "Just basic human speech and the lack of need to consume flesh is good enough for entry I suppose..." Inside, Sasha frowned. "And I thought the outside looked bad." She looked around the city full of trash, tagged walls everywhere, and that faint stench of death. Just a lot bigger than the other towns she was in. At least the walls would keep most of the treat out. Shouldering her stuff, she made her way to the center of town, looking around and eventually spotting an inn. "Ah lovely. My feet could use a rest from all this damned walking." She entered the inn and dropped a few pieces of coins. "A nice room for a few nights should suffice. I'll worry about food myself." It was gonna take some time to get her room ready so she made her way to the bar area and ordered a drink, popping off the cap before taking a swig. "Sucks that the drinks aren't as good as the ones in towns and villages, but you get what you get~"
Oh man. So many good memories with my PS2. It's impossible to choose my FAVORITE out of all my games. I can list the most favorites out of all of them. Star Wars Battlefront 2 - Clocked probably at least a thousand hours into that game. I kid you not Jak 3 - Nuff said KH2 - Duh 007 Nightfire - Oddjob OP Final Fantasy X - HAWHAWHAWHAW Medal of Honor: Frontline - Best WWII game IMO
All aboard the ToH hype train Choo choo~ Buhh it's crazy with the Vita now getting a large surge of games coming its way. I guess this is great news for those needing a reason to pick up their VItas and start playing~
I don't think it's their fault. Gamers are getting tired of the standard military shooters. It needs something new or at least a different take to the genre. Sure open-world may be overused, but I think it's a much better choice than a linear shooter.
Maye hummed on the rooftop next to the main gates, taking a drink out of an expensive looking glass bottle in her hands. "Mhmm so romantic to look at the sunset while taking a drink. Shame I don't have anyone to share a moment like this..." She smirked and looked down below, watching the confrontation happening all below her. "I knew they were gonna bump into each other one of these days, but I wouldn't have expected ALL of the big ones all converge...my oh my...this will be fascinating. However..." She narrowed her eyes. "This is happening all too soon. Much more sooner than I have anticipated. It's like this was all planned from the start...So ingenious. Wouldn't mind a fair lady wandering by would they?" She giggled and hopped on down to street level, approaching the group. "My my...what do we have here on this fine afternoon? My dear Warden...you found her so much sooner than I anticipated! I expected no less!" She smiled and took another drink. "Oh dear, the man himself~ Sir Orpheus...it's such a coincidence that brings all of us here isn't it? Like fate..." She held the bottle into the sky, "Had plans for us to meet all under this beautiful sunset. Now now why do we all look like we all wanna kill each other? That's not very gentleman like...err except the fair miss there."
I think it makes sense. The world we live in is a very biased and full of stereotypes. If someone doesn't wish to put out their gender or age due to their discomfort on how people respond to them, it should be a legitimate reason. The internet is not a very nice place. Take for example a girl on an online fourm website. Many would assume she would go to a fourm best fitted for females, talk in a specific manner with many smilies and emoticons, and the list goes. If they do the complete opposite, two things pop in out minds. Either the girl has FAR different tastes or it's not a girl but a guy. I met many females online that have themselves listed as males because they don't feel comfortable in a society where it's male dominated. It's very understandable. If a girl speaks up just a little in an online game aimed towards males, the room goes crazy over the girl. That's unwanted attention and may are not comfortable with that. I know it seems I'm aimed towards mostly the female audience, but the internet is very biased against females. They assume all they do is listen to boy bands, talk on the phone for hours, and insert any other female personality trait here. That will go into a person's opinion when that girl decides to make a simple comment or a response to anything. Stereotypes are bad and we as a society should learn to stop ourselves from assuming everything because it leaves bad impressions and probably even worse.
What really terrifies me the most is how much of an influence Slenderman had over the girls. For years, there have been debates about shootings and massacres that tie in with entertainment media. The majority found that those accusations are nothing but blind accusations. With this story in full force, it's going to sway some people. Alright maybe the girls weren't right in the head. That doesn't change how this is portrayed. You can take the biggest mentally unstable person in the world and give them a random video to watch or a game to play with some violence in it. He then goes on a rampage and attacks people. Even if the truth was there for people to understand he was very unstable mentally, they'll still focus on the video or game because in the end, all the people care about is the ignition of that action. For example, look at the elementary school shooting at Sandy Hook last year. Did they really go into thought of him not being right in the head? Somewhat, but the majority turned their attention on what he did prior to his actions. "Oh he played Mass Effect 3 so that must mean that game is the real reason for his actions." It's more of an excuse rather than a fact of any sort. I really applaud the admin on coming out and addressing this problem. He really knows what and how our society works when it comes to these types of situations. I, myself, am not a fan of creepypastas (mostly because I'm a wimp and can't take scary stories D: ) but that's not gonna make me wanna go into a cult or any of that sort of stuff. I send my condolences and heart out to the families affected by this event.
I liked the idea of Homefront, but not the way it was executed through its cut-and-paste military shooter. I really hope Homefront: Revolution puts something unique to it since DS is now in charge of a different company.
Sasha continued watching the pair until they made their way to leave the house. "Fascinating...Cierra was her name right? With all of that force, even a Lustor would have trouble recovering all of that in such a short time span. Either that or maybe all that sound just made the scene more...intense." Whatever the case, Sasha casually followed the two, occasionally using her "stealthy" motions whether it be holding a box in front of her or standing behind a bush half her height. As much as her skills sucked, they didn't seem to notice. Eventually, it led her to the front gate of the city. Though she did not expect to see Orpheus there with Sven. Not only did she never met him before, but also it was not the best of times for the two to approach Orpheus and Sven. It was not going to be a peaceful confrontation seeing how Sven reacted to Beuce's words. Also on a personal level, she didn't want to be involved in a conflict if she wasn't involved personally. For now though, she would kinda be off to the side, examining the situation. ~~~Stare~~~
It seemed the whole ordeal kinda went off tangent. Sasha expected some sort of a tense, even a fight between the two parties where it kinda ended in...a temporary halt? Beuce...whoever the hot person was seemed to influence the chained girl in some way. Possibly through physical contact. She would have to keep a note on that in case he got too close to her. On a side note, she would comment back on Mrs. Period Girl, but she gave her more of an 'annoyed' stare. It wasn't her job to explain herself to a person like her who's always pissed off at everything. Makes silencing those kinds of people much easier to do if given a reason. Since everyone seemed to go off on their own, she looked around. "I should go back to the base I was. I left my food there and they might try to use it. I can always ask for compensation should they decide to use it." Before she went back though, she was curious what Beuce and Cierra were doing in that house. Once those unpleasant sounds were coming from that house, she either assumed Cierra was being brutally tortured or...something else. Sasha wasn't very informed on the ways of the birds and bees. So she crouched next to a side of the house and ~~~Stared~~~ at the two inside. She watched more out of curiosity than anything else. Though this time, she was well hidden from sight from the two inside.
Whale these definitely look like something that would come right out of a Dark Souls game. Man do they look very nice and pretty. Also...GUNS. Dunno how to feel about that but I'm very excited to hear more about this game at E3
Stuffz
Bleh as a kid, I was constantly told by my parents to avoid drugs and stay away from people that use them. I followed their words because I knew what the consequences were if I were to take them. Back then, the worst part about taking drugs was giving you bad health problems. These days, it's all about overdosing and people killing one another over this stuff. Yea I don't take drugs and I hopefully never will take drugs. I dunno. Maybe I go the the deepest part of my life and I'm on the streets or somethin. Plz let it never happen D: I wouldn't say drugs are SUPER BAD. There are far worse things out there than a simple pipe or a joint, but I think it's also something people shouldn't treat lightly. It's like eating food. Food isn't bad, but if left unchecked, it can lead to serious problems like obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, ect. I think the reason why drugs are looked down upon is because the people leave it unchecked and let it harm their body and those around them. Since it's so addictive, the user really has no idea what's going on. So yea. There's no real reason to take drugs, but at least be responsible about it if you plan to do so.
As far as I'm concerned, I don't think the game is THAT broken (or maybe I didn't look close enough at each individual thing .-.).

Fighting Games - I really dislike fighting games. Well let me rephrase that. HARDCORE fighting games. I like Super Smash games and other fighting games under the "Easy to learn, Hard to Master" category. But others like Mortal Kombat, Super Street Fighter, and Tekken really turn me off. It's one thing to spend hours in finding that one character that syncs well with you and perfect all the combos. And to see all of that wasted when you go fight online only to get wrecked badly from a simple miss. It's a game that really kicks you to the ground for mistakes you make. Sports Games - Nuff said Rhythm Games - As much as I love rhythm games, I simply cannot get into them. Mostly because no matter how much I put into them, I can never reach the skill of proficiency I wish to have. Every time I walk into an arcade, I watch in awe of those stepping away at those DDR pads or tapping away at those Beatmania machines. Wishing somehow, I can reach that kind of skill.
As much as I want to absolutely love this game, it's not showcasing it very well in my honest opinion. It looks like a generic 3rd-Person shooter. First announced last year, I saw some potential as it was revolved in a steampunk London, but so far, all we've seen is shootouts. I REALLY hope they can make this more appealing with more interesting gameplay and not just sections of Shoot-and-Cover. On a side note, may I just say this game looks GORGEOUS.
Sasha continued following the girl which eventually grew into three now that the two other humans joined up with her. It wasn't really sneaky, but walking around and peeking behind from some random trees wouldn't really be considered tailing a person unnoticed. On the note she also was doing this because the girl was hot-headed and had a notion of shooting things first and asking questions later. "Meh. Simple minded humans need to learn some patience. One day they're gonna do something regretful." As she followed, she noticed another girl following them as well. She could already tell she wasn't human because first humans don't wear THAT many chains on them and she had that I'm-not-duh-human aura. "I thought I was the worst tailer around here...She's making too much noise." In case of getting caught, she shifted behind another tree. If someone was gonna get shot first, it wasn't gonna be her. ~~~Stare~~~ "Well I got two answers. Either he's hiding in his humble abode watching everything from a safe distance like any simple-minded leader or he has something to do right in the Lustor District. Knowing him, he wouldn't be in his castle. So the only option is him right now in the Lustor District. What he's doing there though is up to anyone's speculation." She looked at the sky through one of the holes and got to her feet, brushing off her clothes. "Dear me...look at the time already. I must be on my way to my next destination. Even with all of this nonsense going on." She smiled and ran her hand along his arm. "Be a dear and don't do anything stupid around him. He's already not in the best of moods. You'd know what he's feeling right now. Losing that special prisoner of his." She left his presence and walekd over to the door. "I'll make sure to visit you again tomorrow like always. Stay safe Warden." On that note, she left the prison.
Yes yes I know~ I'm just busy with all duh finals I had the last 2 weeks .3.
