I'll be able to post soon. Dayum why didn't I get any notifications? Buhhh~
Maye gave Stephan a hard stare, her eye twitching when his claw ran over her face. It took all her willpower not to shank his own hand into his lower regions. His ego was thick enough to cut with a heavy blade. Even her ego was checked in place in some serious situations. It's not an everyday thing two men decide to barge into a badass general's castle to get revenge. "You disgust me. There was nothing I needed. You just happen to walk in. That enough is wanting to make me shove your face into your own hands. How about a little deal hmm? You both come back alive whether you passed or not, and the drinks are on me mmkay? Maybe just for the Warden, not you asshand. I gotta be off now. I have better stuff to do than thinking of ways to ruin your face." Without waiting for an answer, Maye walked off from the two. ~Insert random scene of Sasha eventually doing something because she feels so out of place and needs some importance in this RP~
I see you like Yuumei~
There are the games that stand high in accolades and praise that won many awards, sold millions, moved people, and are awesome in every aspect overall. Then there are those that die off the start, pitiful in content, and sole bare minimum. Today though, I wanna focus on the games that belong in neither category. The games that gave you that "Ehh it looks ok I guess" feeling at first, but it then grows to you. The games that sold pretty low despite the production value yet you still decided to give it a shot. The game that had very middle-of-the-road scores and you didn't care at all. Because I know as a gamer, not every gamer have all their favorites in the top peak of awesome games. We grab those somewhat unknown games, pop them in, and instantly love them. And I wanna hear why they are so great to you. So what makes a game mediocre/underrated? Well here are some few qualities: The game rating is between great and bad (numberwise, between 8 and 4 or whatever you define as mediocre) It sold rather low There was no large hype behind it Friends cared little or had no care at all (or you had to look hard to find a fan for it) Price dropped on the game within a few months For specific reasons, I'm not going to allow indie titles because about 98% of hem are all either underrated or had low sales despite their excellence (except Minecraft or DayZ or any of that sandbox nonsense =3=). I wanna focus on the games made by the triple-A producers that didn't go so well with the public and had some low runs in the market. Also, PLEASE KEEP SENSITIVE INFORMATION SPOILER FREE. If you need to get unsafe info out, please use spoiler tags. Without further ado, let us begin. Medal of Honor: Airborne- I remember buying this as my first PS3 game. I read a little about it and was hooked instantly. I loved the Medal of Honor games I had on the PS2 and one for the next-gen (now it's previous gen) really excited me. Though it kinda saddened me that many of my friends lad little to no care for that game and how hard it was to find a match online. But the game really hooked me in with it's parachuting mechanics, the freedom to choose how you want to complete your objectives, the polished look of the game, and just how much it reminded me why I loved these kinds of games. It's so hard to find a FPS these days that let you have a good amount of choice in your gameplay whether it be your loadouts, where to land, and which order to complete your objectives. I still have high hopes that EA (haha by high, I mean bare minimum T^T) JUST MIGHT wanna go back to their roots and bring back the WWII games I loved. Spec Ops: The Line- I had the same reaction as many others when they saw this game. "Blehh...another third-person military shoot-em up. How boring and cookie-cutter." How much was I wrong. Ok fine there is some truth to that. I wasn't impressed by the gameplay or the graphical fidelity of the game, but I had never been so into a military shooter with a very heart-wrenching campaign. Being swarmed with online shooters like Call of Duty, I almost forgot that there were still military shooters that had great stories to tell, not just being a superhuman that can mow through thousands of soldiers. It's jarring how in Call of Duty, I smiled and laughed as I shot many enemies along my merry way and in Spec Ops, how much it made me cringe with some of the brutal actions you had to do in that game. As much as I didn't want to experience something this dramatic and jarring again, I also wanted to see more producers bring us less about the fun of mowing people down and more on the horror and painful choices people do in situations like this. Battlefield: Bad Company- Another shooter? Yep. Off the topic of Spec Ops, Bad Company does the exact opposite. Bringing humor, sarcasm, and fun to a rather strange area. With the familiar franchise Battlefield, many veterans were confused. It played really nothing like the old Battlefield games and it was very alien. But similar to Spec Ops, the main meat was in single player. Loveable characters, expanse maps, and fun gameplay, it was a great bag of fun in a rather overlooked game. Multiplayer was also a blast to play as well. The destructible environments only added to the chaos and fun. Sure the sequel was better received and sold, but it lost much of that humor me and many others wanted in a new Bad Company game. Once again, I hope EA (why does EA love bringing misery T^T) returns back to Bad Company and bring us the third installment to the series. Being honest, I'm getting tired of the shooters they're pumping out. I really have no interest to play Hardline.
I love cosplay. Almost every year, I go to the convention center downtown to attend their weekend anime convention. As much as I want to cosplay, I have neither money nor the body to cosplay accurately T^T
Because this is a world where discrimination and hate linger in all parts of the world. Call it whatever people want it to be whether it be karma or justice, but this is the kind of crap that infuriates me. There is no justification for a woman to beat up a man just because it is considered "socially acceptable". It's a poor (and a "feminist") excuse. It goes the same for men, but the way the world treats this towards woman is unacceptable. How could people be so satisfied and accepting to see a man get beaten by a woman in the same situation? Lots of people cry out for gender equality, but does that include bringing down males to a position where abuse can be acceptable for woman to inflict, but not for men? If it's in self-defense, then there should not be an issue. Even still, that's not a good enough reason for many to accept the fact that a man had to defend himself because of the abuse he has taken. Male abuse exists, don't get me wrong, but that's a common statement. How many males walk this earth, knowing that once they come home, they have to fight verbal and physical battles with their partners, only to know in the end, they suffer? The public is sympathetic to the females victims, but they consider the men as "weak" and "pitiful." There are men just as, if not more, fragile than females out there. Who would look out for them if all the public see is someone who should stand for himself and the abusive female as a "shining example of woman equality?"
Ehh more like getting slapped around a lot by real life. I'm terribly sorry. I'll try my best in getting around >.<
She shrugged at his words. "Underhand or not, you still went into a fight where you were seriously outplayed. You need to learn to fold when your hand is god awful. Bluffing only goes some ways before they call you out. And your bluffs were out called badly my dear Warden." She rummaged through her jacket and pulled out a few bottles of different colored vials. "Some of these should help you out with your issue. Hopefully they don't go wasted. It took me quite some work to obtain some of these." Speaking of the devil, the sound of bars shutting made Maye turn towards the sound. The Outlaw. She narrowed her eyes at him. She never really liked him. Maye only knew him since he also worked under the Warden. Something about him kinda ticked her off. Possibly because he can never put away his claws every time she saw him. Gave him that large egotistic personality. Though what came out of the Warden's mouth was as if he paid no heed to her words. How it irritated her. "Oh dear did I just hear that right? You...and him. Going to crash into Castle Mordecai? For god sake I thought the last stunt you pulled was dumb. This is beyond pure stupidity. You know what? I'm just gonna let you two men talk all this crap out and have your special "plans" of busting in, doing your job, and then singing around a campfire." She shook her head and walked off to the side angrily muttering to herself. "Goddamn...why can't there be any female jailers? They would have so much more common sense than this pile of crap..."
I'm that small percentage of the LP fanbase. Every album they put out, there had been at least 3-4 songs I loved from each one. Sure some lacked quality, especially their newer ones, but the new album was no exception. I found my songs that I really enjoyed. Also, I'm happy that they're slowly getting back to their older roots. TBH, I dare not turn on the radio >_>
It's hard to keep promises. No matter how many times I keep telling myself, I always find the need to get into a hype. This is no exception. Unlike other open world games, this peaks my interest. It's like an MMO without the MMO in it. Random spawns. Leveled loot based on the enemy. And yea it sorta does look and feel like an AC game in a LoTR game, but why should that hinder my likes? Defiantly anxious waiting for more info about this game.
I was born and raised in a Christian family. Now before you start chucking stuff at me and calling me a heathen or something, I want to point out something. Unlike the very radical and outspoken Christians, I really don't have a strong negative attitude on people that are heterosexual. In fact, it's rather the opposite. It's not the case if you are not heterosexual. If one is opposed to all other sexual personalities other than heterosexual, then that person gets pinged and flamed down to hell. The society has grown from having this negative look on non-heterosexuals to defending them. It's very surprising how much society can change. I stand on a neutral plane. But sometimes, that isn't enough. You either are for or against it. There is no middle ground according to the general public. Just not having a stand is enough to get people to look down upon you. If you asked me years back, I would've dropped those kinds of people to the lowest point. Now, I treat them like any other person. I even have friends with a non-heterosexual lifestyle. Does it bother me when they go in depth about it? Sure it does a little. But I don't hate them for that. Everyone has their preferences whether it be food, entertainment, clothing, and all sorts. This is no exception. It's that this topic has gone to a point where everyone has to make a big deal about it. You come to me whatever sexuality you are, I wouldn't give a damn as long as you're nice and respectful, I will do the same.
So thankful no one else was seriously injured or killed in this incident. Not to be pessimistic, but I'm seeing this becoming more and more frequent. More and more school shootings are happening throughout the United States. It's actually scaring me if maybe the school I'm attending will be next. I honestly don't know. I can't imagine something like this happening in an area close to where I live. It would be tragic. And to point out this isn't some adult with a grudge to the school or anything. This is a 14 year old. All the news reports talk about how much these kinds of students are loved and well received. What could have pushed these students to have such thoughts of shooting up a school if they are well loved? A simple negative hate message? The pressure of keeping up a public look to maintain that loveable personality? I just hope this doesn't become an everyday thing I see on the news.
Maye sighed, brushing her clothes and hopping to her feet. Mostly being ignored, she was there only solely for the purpose of spectating the fight because one, she was not strong enough to even last one hit and two, she can make bank on such a large scale fight. People, especially criminals, would provide much to her cause if word ever got out that the Warden was beaten. Even if it was General Orpheus that beaten him. It was a win-win in her situation even if it was the other way around. However...she preferred the outcome to her favor. Maye quickly followed the Warden until they were both quite ways from the others. "You're a fool Warden. Strong and unyielding, but a fool nevertheless. You went in a fight where all odds were against you and blinded by your goal of her. What kind of outcome did you expect?" She matched his pace and examined his wound. "Not bad, but it's gonna hinder you. I'm guessing a week max for that to heal to an acceptable point. And it's only gonna get harder."
Username: Prince_of_Hearts Name: Sasha Gray Age: 18 Appearance: =w= Class/Occupation: Servant Location: Highborne Home -Eastborne- Special Ability: Sleight of Hand Weapon: >Hand-to-Hand Combat< Personality: >Reserved< >Compassionate< Being born into a life as a slave to the nobles, Sasha never found the need to express herself as all her life revolved around orders and demands from people above her authority. She also learned to make use of her rather agile hands to pick a few things here and there from the wandering nobles always having meetings. Unexpressive does not mean she is emotionless. She will show her light and compassionate side should she find a person that is willing to connect to her and befriend her. Other: Though her main form of combat is hand-to-hand, she is also skilled in using blades and throwing projectiles.
I don't mind a subbed game since I always prefer Japanese voice acting over English, but it may deter a good chunk of the Tales fans here in North America. Up to this point, (I believe) all Tales games were English dubbed save a few that had Japanese voice acting available (ex. Tales of Symphonia on the PS3). This could mean a pretty low sale count. Hopefully that won't be the case as I do wish to see more games coming over to America WITH the option of a Japanese voiceover rather than English dubs.
Thank you very much~
Here be the E3 trailer of Xillia 2
EYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY Mind if you can elaborate on the special abilities portion of the RP?
I'm so overwhelmed this E3. So much announced and so little time (and money). No Man's Sky, 1886, Uncharted 4, Destiny, Unity, Farcry 4. Though...no Last Guardian... :c I'm gonna need to start saving up money T.T
Too many waifus
