Well I'm not exactly looking forward to fighting any dogs, but oh well I guess. Hey what'd you think of my video?
I guessed that it might've been when I took a look at the mech photo you posted and it was the basic mech from Enslaved. So does that mean the...
Yeah, it's definitely one of my favorites, too bad so few people know about it.
Okay I'll bite Username: Allen Tor Full Name: Alexander "Al" Garde Age/Appearance: 20 years old. He has brown hair that hangs just past his chin light-but-tanned skin and dark green eyes. He's 5'3" and weighs about 115 pounds, all of which comes from muscle. He always wears a pair of dark brown pants that end just above his ankles, a black vest and a backpack with retractable glider wings, when he's outside the city he also wears a pair of mechanical gauntlets which will be discussed in the weapon section. he never wears shoes and so his feet have become as tough as leather. Background/Personality: Al is a cautious man by nature, he knows the Scares are tougher than he is and prefers to avoid them when he can. Despite that he's had numerous close brushes with them in the past, causing him to gain confidence in his ability to survive them. He's a master climber and freerunnner, as well as having a great natural ingenuity. These talents, coupled with his experience dealing with the Scares, makes him a master of avoiding and escaping from them. He often makes trips outside the city to gather items, either for clients who want him to bring them something specific, or to collect materials fro use in his own inventions. He's currently trying to build a flightsuit that will allow him to travel through the air, where most of the Scares can't get him, and his dream is to live in a floating city where he and others can be safe from the Scares permanently, he has no idea how to accomplish this dream though. Weapons: Whenever he's outside the city Al wears a pair of mechanical gauntlets, their main purpose is to help him get around, but they make decent weapons if he can't simply escape the scares; the fingers have claws on the ends that can scratch stone and the bracers have high powered grappling hooks built them. Other: Makes a living by getting things from outside the city for other people.
Guess I'll have to get a paid version of Minecraft so I can get on servers. Oh well, it was about time I did that anyway. I look forward to playing with everyone in the future.

I meant in KH2, I actually wasn't a fan of Atlantica in KH1. it was cool at first, but after getting stuck multiple times for a couple hours, and the swimming controls being not all that easy to use, it got old fast. I loved it in 2 though.
Am I the only one who likes Atlantica? As for the actual topic of discussion here, I want to see a Wreck-it-Ralph world just so I can see a "what game are you from" gag with Sora.
Up until Dog with a Blog I thought you were being serious. I shall now go sit in the Corner of Shame.
Such in-depth discussion about such a small question, well I guess that's Kingdom Hearts for you. Anyway I always assumed that Riku won the race. When I played the games as a kid I figured that was the best explanation as to why the Gummi Ship was called what Riku wanted to call it in 2. There's also the fact that Riku was implied to be better at pretty much everything than Sora around the time Sora's story started, a notion which is also reinforced by the gameplay if it's your first time playing the game. Think about it, how many times did you guys lose the fight and the race against Riku on your first playthrough.
It doesn't look like there's a whole lot I can say about this that hasn't been said already, but I'd still like to put my two cents in. Firstly, I'm pretty sure that all the characters are straight (although I wouldn't mind seeing some NamineXKairi) partly because I don't see any romantic undertones between any characters of the same sex, and partly because this is Disney we're dealing with, a company that would never touch on anything as controversial as homosexuality currently is. In other words, I'm pretty sure Sora doesn't have any kind of romantic feelings for Riku. To address the crying scene, I'd like to point out that Sora's a pretty emotional guy. Along with everything that's been said by everyone else, think about just how often Sora breaks down, or almost breaks down, over things that are way less important to him than his best friend who he's probably known for as long as he can remember. And if Sora remembers what Aqua told him about protecting Riku (a terrible thing to tell a four-year-old by the way) then he probably feels some kind of responsibility to make sure Riku's okay. So, even without any kind of romantic feelings, it makes sense that Sora would break down crying at that point.
If I may, I have some questions: How can I know whether I'm qualified or not? Like what kind of things are you guys looking for in staff members? Is there a minimum number of time per day/week potential staff should spend on the site? Minimum post number or amount of time since joining the site? Also it said that news reporters could right articles and editorials, could someone apply for a reporter position if they only wanted to write articles and editorials? I get all my KH news from this site, so I probably wouldn't be good at actually reporting news, but I'd like to do editorials and I think the site would benefit from having some non-news articles, especially during times when there's not a whole lot of news to report.
Technically speaking we can't be certain, the best we can do is speculate based on what we know for sure. Based on that information I figure his goal is to see what comes after the keyblade war, and not the coexistence of light and darkness, because: 1) When he was talking to Terra about the "tyranny of light" he had a different inflection then when he was talking with Eraqus about the keyblade war. With Terra he sounded more like he was trying to sell him something than with Eraqus where he sounded more contemplative and curious. And when Eraqus called him out on how horrible it was that he was going to "risk an apocalypse out of sheer curiosity" he started making excuses for himself. 2) He only ever mentioned the idea of wielding light and darkness together when he was talking to Terra, he talks about the keyblade war with others. 3) He told Terra that they should wield light and darkness in equal shares, but he only ever wields darkness. 4) Notice how the closer Terra gets to succumbing to darkness the less Xehanort talks about the "tyranny of light" and the more he tells Terra to give in to the darkness. 5) What reason could he have for creating the X-Blade other than causing the keyblade war. 6) Something I've noticed about the various incarnations of Xehanort is that he/they tend to almost forget when they start monologue-ing that they were trying to talk to other people at first, and just start talking to themselves, Xehanort does this whenever he starts talking about the keyblade war. How would he lie when talking to himself?
I figured the whole "light and darkness in equal shares" and "tyranny of light" stuff was just something he made up to help trick Terra into succumbing to the darkness.
In response to the comments about us not really knowing Xehanort's motives: Birth by Sleep suggested that Xehanort was motivated mainly by curiosity, he wanted to start the keyblade war just to see what would happen, a sort of perverse "knowledge for knowledge's sake" sort of motivation. Personally I think this is a really cool villain motivation, but knowing KH it wouldn't surprise me to find out that he was actually after something else entirely. Unrelated: Just realized Kingdom Hearts has some really cool villains.
I don't think there's enough hardware power in the world to fit the answers to every remaining question in Kingdom Hearts into one game. That said, I pretty much agree with you.
Happy New Year, I suppose
A Kingdom Hearts video to the song "This is War" by 30 Seconds to Mars. I own none of the content used in this...
Been awhile since I uploaded a video, anyway here's my most recent one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNtCuCoNBRo
Jen tried to turn her head and look at the person, curious what could have a voice that sounded like that. Freia assumed a combat stance, preparing to act if she needed to. Piiro started spinning his chain above his head, upset with this stranger for interrupting his fun, and completely ready to add him to add them to the body count if he had to. He asked indignantly, "oh yeah? Says who?"
