She needs our help! Edward snarled in Van Helsing's head, growling at the hunter. Just do something for her, please, or I will not help you.
Edward climbed up the stairs slowly, balancing Hannah's unconscious weight on his back. He quickly reached Van Helsing, Carl, Anna, and Michael. Her neck is broken, he explained in Van Helsing's head. Someone needs to set it back in place so she can heal... Maybe Carl?
Edward nodded and ran quickly over to Hannah's body. Hannah! he shouted in her head, feeling no reaction. Please wake up! Okay... just hold on and I'll help you. Edward stuck his nose under Hannah's torso and carefully flipped her body on his back. He bit both of her sleeves carefully in his front teeth to hold her steadt and quickly jumped toward the nearest window, inside the stairwell and away from the rain.
Edward growled and launched himself at Aleera, locking his jaws onto her right shoulder, sinking his teeth deep into her skin till they ground on bone. As the gouts of toxic blood flowed into his mouth he pushed his tongue to the roof of his mouth and exhaled, keeping any of the liquid from coursing down his throat. He tore hard at the joint in the bride's shoulder, pinning her against the edge of the stone bridge as she shrieked and tried to get away. Finally, with nasty, tearing shred of a noise, Edward ripped Aleera's shoulder off and tossed it over the edge of the bridge. He spat out the blood in his mouth, panting with his head hung for a moment. Edward quickly spoke in Jinx's head before Aleera could recover: She broke Hannah's neck, he explained. But she's not dead but I need to get her out of here and reset her neck so she'll be okay. Can you handle Aleera? Just speak in your head and I will hear you.
Edward landed heavily on the bridge in front of Aleera, padding carefully over to Hannah's body. He nudged her with his nose, whining slightly when she didn't respond. He heard Aleera's laughing happily above him and growled, his hackles raised as he met her gaze. You're going to die for touching her, you monster! he shouted clearly in the vampire's mind, his anger rising even further when she smiled widely at him. He crouched, ready to pounce when she moved.
Edward ran to where Beatrice stood, hanging onto her shoulder slightly to lean out the window into the rain. He let out a long, angry howl when he saw Hannah and fell to the stone floor, feeling his blood rush faster and hotter through his veins. "Bee," he managed, his voice half a growl as he looked up at her from the floor. "Be... careful..." Then Edward turned and, a moment later, was covered in fur, his eyes red and his claws scraping on the stone floor as he jumped into the windowsill and out onto the wall of the castle. The stone was wet from the constant rain and he found himself sliding faster than he intended toward the bridge below.
Edward sighed and swallowed a growl, rolling off of Van Helsing and standing, breathing heavily. "I will not leave her with that b.itch of a monster!" Edward snapped at Jinx. "I don't care how much you need me for Dracula; Hannah stays with me!"
"Don't!" Edward snapped, and dove at Van Helsing, slamming his full body weight into his shoulder. They both tumbled halfway down the stairs, Edward punching Van Helsing's hand in the process, knocking his bow away and into a corner. "You could have hit her!" Edward snarled, finally skidding to a stop and pinning Van Helsing underneath him. "Are you crazy?"
"Let her be, Michael," Edward snapped dangerously, throwing the lycan a dirty look.
"Bullets," Edward added suddenly to Van Helsing. "I need more for the gun you gave me."
"I can't take him on my own," Edward insisted quickly. "There's no way I can; I need your help... all of you."
Edward nodded, looking around the foyer of the castle with Van Helsing next to him. "Which way?" he asked.
"That was amazing," Edward said to Hannah, walking up to her as everyone slowly entered the castle.
"Go ahead," Edward said, letting go of Hannah reluctantly. "It's okay."
Edward took Hannah's hand as they walked, determined to keep her close to him. "I don't mind," he spoke to her, reading her thoughts. "The cold in your skin... it doesn't bother me."
"Alright," Edward agreed warily, letting Beatrice go. "If you trust him, Bee, I'll let you do what you think is right."
Edward took Beatrice's hand as she stepped through to guide her over the ice and snow. "Where's Michael?" he asked her. "He's staying behind, right?"
"So where the hell is Michael?" Edward snapped, looking back at the mirror behind him. "We need to get going before someone notices this huge group."
Edward nodded at Hannah and led her through the mirror, trying to ignore the chilling feeling that spread over every inch of his body as they moved. "We're right here," he said to Jinx and Van Helsing, leading Hannah over to them. "Who else are we waiting for? Carl? Anna? Micheal?" he added with a grimace.
"I'll keep you safe," Edward reassured Hannah, wrapping an arm around her and walking up to the mirror. "Are you ready?"
