So I have just read this book about the secret history of Mind Control which I found fascinating, but one of the chapters was about the "Freedom church" or organisations like it. Basically, it's an organisation based on faith that encourages people to come along and shows them perfect kindness and love and encourages them to leave their families and give up their possessions and live in the Freedom church. That is where they do charity events like travelling the country and selling flowers or going around preaching the word of God and all money goes to the church. It has encouraged people to drop whatever they have been doing and go live with them whether that's uni, work or school. It sounds like no one would go for it but it's surprising how many do and dedicate their lives to it after leaving their families behind. The reason it was in the book about brainwashing and mind control was because it was thought that the leaders of the church brainwash the people by showing them absolute kindness and getting them to give up their stuff and their lives to the church. So, friends and family who wanted their children back found "deprogrammers" who basically tried to break through their defenses and make them aware that they have been brainwashed. It worked by kidnapping the individual and being harsh to them in interrogation until they broke and saw what was going on. They went back to their families and all was well. However, these deprogrammers were arrested for not only kidnapping these people but for not allowing the people their freedom of faith. So in a strange turn of events, the deprogrammers have come off as the evil people. But do you think it's evil to deprogram them? Do you think they really were brainwashed? Is it all such a bad thing? Do you know of anyone or anything related to such an organisation? Have you even heard of such a thing?
Any Team Fortress 2 fans out there? Please say you've seen this, it may be long but is so worth it >:3 Spoiler
Has anyone else seen this? I really can't decide whether it's so bad that I love it or I actually don't like it.
So what if I'm getting overly excited for series 8 of Doctor Who? >:3 I don't care. I've been glued to any piece of news I could find, especially new filming pictures and then I feel creative and make stuff. So here is some avatars I made from the pictures here Spoiler View attachment 38733 View attachment 38734 View attachment 38735 View attachment 38736 View attachment 38737 View attachment 38738 Also, I got bored a few weeks ago and tried my hand at learning to make GIF's (which I found to be surprisingly easy if not a little tedious at times) and so of course I used this amazing animation as my guinea pig: No they aren't great but I am learning the ways of GIF making. Spoiler: GIF's galore CnC would be much appreciated : D
October 30th 2013, I was up in Bradford visiting a friend at uni and him and his friends decided to take me on a night out for student halloween (drinks were cheaper than on actual halloween). It was quite a lot of fun despite barely knowing anyone and this was where I met Ben. There he was, standing in his vampire cape, dancing and just enjoying himself while I happily pranced around next to him. Long story short, we talked a bit that night and then in the morning we sat and watched Thor and ate cornflakes but I was itching to get back to my friend's flat. It wasn't that I didn't like him, he was nice, I just wasn't interested in starting anything with him and when I told him this he cried. So I invited him to the party we were having in our flat the following day which he came along to but because of the distance I just wasn't interested in a relationship. We stayed in touch and texted every day and, over the months, I faced the decision about whether to go out with him and give the relationship a chance or not. To put it in perspective, we currently live about 3 hour drive apart and next year, when I go to uni, it'll be more like 4 hours if not more (google maps telling me it's a 5hr 20 train ride). Alas, we clicked so well, we were incredibly similar and he was just easy to talk to and I decided to give the relationship a shot when I went to see him at the beginning of February. We talked daily, played Portal 2 together online, skyped, planned visits but the distance was a thing that was really getting to me, but it was more than that- last august I was willing to get into a long distance relationship with a guy who I really liked but I just didn't feel the same about Ben. These feelings became even more apparent when he came down to visit me and I realised I didn't want to kiss him or hold his hand and I had no sexual thoughts about him. My God he was an amazing person to be with and he is so beautiful but that's it really. He was the embodiment of what my perfect guy would be like and yet I didn't have any sexual attraction to him and I still don't know why (my current guess is, psychologically, I am building up a defense against liking him because of the distance but I don't know how much truth there is to that). I debated with myself for a while, deciding whether or not to end it with him, I talked with people and thought that with uni coming up, my time was getting gradually more full with work and next year would be even worse with everything I plan on taking part in. There just wasn't time to sustain a long distance relationship, even now I have about 1 free day a week where I don't have to be anywhere but I might not even have that next year. So I told him we should have a 1 day meet up in Leeds and this was the time I planned on breaking up with him... this was yesterday. May 30th 2014, after a day of looking around the Royal armory and eating Nandos, we sat on a bench in the middle of Leeds, I was distance and he asked what was wrong. This was the time to do it. I decided to leave out the part about me having no sexual feelings for him and focused on the distance. He cried and said it really didn't matter, we would find time, I brought up the point I'd text him about once a day for a month or so and he said he didn't care if it was once a day or once a month, as long as we were together. It was heart wrenching and absolutely horrible, he shot down my every concern with his words of love and I felt like a monster. I didn't want him to be like this, I wanted him to fight for more, to not be satisfied with such a meager relationship but he said he was and yet, I couldn't agree. Sadly, his train was 15 minutes after my coach and so he would have to be by himself in an unstable condition and I was so scared that he would do something stupid (I nearly did when I was broken up with a few years back, it was my friends who set me right) so I suggested we go on a break for a month to cool off and, come July 1st we would talk about this again and settle it once and for all. Now here is my problem, when he left I missed him, when he asked if he could kiss me goodbye my heart melted a bit, the kiss was actually really good and all of this left me so unsure of my feelings for him. I honestly think the relationship will be ripped apart by time and distance eventually but I don't think I could ever find someone so devoted and loving as Ben and anyone would be an idiot to give up that devotion... wouldn't they? I just don't think I can reciprocate. So I don't really know what I want from you all, I doubt there is one right answer but just advice... I really don't know what to do in this situation and I am lost in all my ideas and negative thoughts.
A few years ago, I was diagnosed with "Severe anxiety disorder" which I have been questioning a lot recently. The truth is, I don't know if I suffer "severely" from it or not because I don't know what the norm is. I used to experience it so badly that it caused me to faint regularly from stress and fear but I have managed to learn and deal with it far better since then but it's still there, in every situation I feel the anxiety telling me worse case scenarios and what I am doing wrong etc. However, I don't know how other people think about these sorts of situations, perhaps this is just totally normal so my question for you all to discuss is what causes you anxiety, how to you deal with it and what you think it normal? Or just anything interesting you can mention about the topic :3
But yesterday I may or may not have streamed the last half series of House Series 8 to get to the end while eating Easter egg. I am proud to have avoided spoilers all this time... because it was glorious! : D Spoiler No but, what will he do after Wilson dies? 0.o
To celebrate the wonderful day that is Camille Coduri's birthday : D And David Tennant's, and we may as well celebrate the birthday's of Peter Davison, Peter Capaldi and NO ONE ELSE >:3 Cat, happy birthday xD Also, merry Christmas! I felt horrible for never completing your present (I couldn't get it right so it died ;-;), I brought you Audiosurf as a sort of Christmas present for the time being but I had no idea what to do instead until last night when I watched Sherlock 'The Empty Hearse' again and got inspired at about midnight :3 I was wide awake until about 5:45am when I only went to bed because otherwise I would be far too tired to do anything xD Otherwise I would have happily stayed up all night, it was weirdly relaxing. Anyway, enjoy my little creation. (YOU ALSO NEED TO LISTEN TO THE CORRESPONDENTS ALBUM ON ITUNES OR SOMETHING >:3 OR SOUNDCLOUD!) Also, the actual video description has some heartfelt crud in it just for you >:3 Aaaaand now onto the main event! So... MOTHER OF GOD THIS FANFIC TOOK A WHILE TO COMPLETE XD So enjoy reading it... it's a lot longer than the last one... not intentionally... it just sort of happened. Also, I have split it into chapters so you can stop and come back to it if stuff happens meaning you can't finish it. IMPORTANT: Please don't open any of these spoilers until you have completed the previous one, they are in spoilers for a reason >:3 (apart from protecting people from the huge wall of text 0.o) Spoiler: Prologue View attachment 38128 The warm smell of chicken teriyaki mingled amongst the thick crowds of people bustling around. Flashes of colours covered the grounds left, right and centre, a rainbow of fabrics to dazzle the eye. Crazed fans darting from booth to stand to stool, their minds engulfed in the fantasy worlds they've grown to love, the merchandise being the keys to their reality. The sheer mass of people trampling over wrappers and unwanted flyers as they raced to the next Q&A panel, cardboard swords in hand. The flash of a camera, the click of an iPhone, the sheer number of selfies, sword fights and groups photographing their surroundings, savouring each second as their whole lives become worthwhile as they gleefully strode through the premises. There were meetings occurring between people whose only connection was the character of their cosplay, friends were being made, contacts swapped simply due to their common interests in fandoms. “Dull.” “Sherlock! As much as I'd like to, we are not here to mingle, we have work to do.” He stared down at his short friend who managed to blend into the crowds with the huge, hairy, prosthetic feet he had given him as a disguise. “How can people obsess over fictional things to such an extent as this? It's not even real!” Sherlock blurted out as he eyed up some strange boy with a blonde pointy haired wig holding a giant key. “It's absurd.” “The same way you can put heads in the microwave and get a kick from it-” Suddenly, a loud screech of a lanky teen cut John off as he bounded toward him. A long, grey beard smothered his acne covered face giving it a thin shine of sweat and hormones, he wore a long grey robe, his hat was pointy and the staff in his hand was as flimsy as his self esteem. “Wow, Bilbo Baggins! You're just the hobbit I need to go on a little journey for me!” The boy's voice deepened as he attempted to impersonate Ian McKellen. John, not being a huge Lord of the Rings fan, was quite taken aback by the spotty Gandalf who towered over him, gazing at his costume with young, glossy eyes. “Hey Steve! Come get a photo of me and Bilbo! I hope you don't mind, I love your costume.” “N-not at all...” John spoke hesitantly as they bunched together for a small photograph, his smile forced. He could feel Sherlock's s****** behind him without even turning his head. “Sherlock!” “I thought you wanted to mingle John.” The detective beamed. “Duuude! Your costume is so rad! It's almost like you were actually from Star Trek! Awesome coat!” A passing lad chirped as he admired the care and thought Sherlock put into his costume. John knew deep down Sherlock was pleased with this comment, he feigned indifference but secretly he had squandered over his disguise for weeks meticulously carving in every ounce of detail from Khan's costume. “Right, enough of this.” Sherlock bounced into action as he strode meaningfully toward the out-of-bounds areas with John in tow, his long leather coat trailing behind him providing Sherlock with a false sense of power. “He'll be in Personnel, everywhere else is too public.” “How do we even know he'll be here?” John, ever the quizzical voice to Sherlock's mind, uttered. “He wouldn't return to the scene of the crime so easily.” “No, it's unlikely he'll show up but he may have sent someone to check out and dispose of whoever knows too much.” “Wait, so are we basically going to find someone who will attempt to kill us?” John stumbled as he followed Sherlock blindly into the battlefield of deduction. “Yes, I thought that was clear? Don't look so shocked John I know what I'm doing.” Sherlock reached into his pocket and began twiddling with apps on his phone in preparation. “What did the text to the killer say this time?” John groaned a groan that was used to this routine. “'I know it was you. Poor Robert Singer. 23rd May 2014 London Comic Con. I hope you are ready to expose yourself before I have to do it.” Sherlock read out as they continued past people in trench coats and leather jackets holding fake guns and salt. “There is no way he could connect us to the police, so one solitary text would frighten him enough to take drastic action, ergo, sending someone to find out who.” “And these costumes are to help us blend into a bunch of teenagers fangirling over new episodes of My little pony?” “Precisely John. This place is perfect for that, everyone stands out here therefore no one does. Besides, we can then get changed out of our costumes and look completely different. It's the perfect disguise, it can't fail.” John nodded in understanding as they neared a door with the usual warning signs posted over it that he was fully aware they'd ignore. On cue, they bust open the door and began the climb of the industrial white stairs, the scent of disinfectant hung low in the air creating a clinical smog that left a bad taste in the mouth regardless of how little you opened your mouth. They finally reached a door leading to the office block labelled 'Personnel' which they entered and wistfully strode toward the door at the end of the long corridor. The clinical chemical smell merged with a stale stench of coffee and tea giving the two men headaches as they swam through it. “How do you know which door he'll be behind?” John whispered as he winced, protecting his eyes from the chemicals. “Because I'm clever... and the footprints give it away.” Sherlock pointed to the ground where the clean carpet had the faint ghost of a muddy shoe print leading straight up to the door they were heading to. “This place is kept so clean, like a hospital, the manager is very OCD with germs hence why the office's are completely disinfected twice a day- 8am and 8pm, these prints are recent.”John nodded in acceptance and immediately felt bad for dirtying the place with his huge hobbit feet. Gingerly, when they reached the end of the corridor, they opened the door and walked inside to find a generic office. The room was just like the rest of block the only difference being a small, green plant adding a dash of colour to the otherwise dull and grey atmosphere. John's reflexes burst into action as he sensed a hand lurch toward him from behind, he ducked, swivelled and punched the attacker in the stomach. They stumbled backwards, a woman donning an obersheen suit with a black tie, her hair was blonde and tightly tied back stretching her face giving her taut facial expressions. Suddenly she bounded forward again, allowing enough time for both Sherlock and John to dodge with the later grabbing her outstretched arm and, in a flash, twisting it behind her back in a ferocious arm lock. Anorexic. Right handed. Halitosis. Manual worker. Anger issues. Daddy issues. “A friend of Eric Kripke I persume?!” John snarled, his soldier persona reporting for duty beneath the disguise of the Shire. The woman grimaced and, with great force, pushed John back with phenomenal power, both men flying backwards cracking the wall behind them. Before they could recover, their closed eyelids were flooded with a bright light, momentarily blinding the duo as she made a dash for it. Quick as a flash, Sherlock bolted after her, John, struggling to regain his balance with his hobbit feet followed blindly into the light. CRASH! Both men, simultaneously crashed right into the wall behind the light worsening their headaches. “Well that was smart.” “Quiet John, come on, she's getting away.” They both staggered to their feet again and stumbled out the door they had entered through attempting to shake off the throbbing at the front of their skulls. Slowly regaining their composure, they carried on after her back down the stairs and right out into the sea of whirling colours, of hope and of the fantasies that people were living. They darted through the wide hall as heads turned and stared, either in amazement or shock at the stir in their peace. John could have sworn he saw someone wearing the exact same scarf and coat that Sherlock meticulously wears but they disappeared before he could properly register them. The woman was bolting toward the entrance but the detective and his trusty side kick were slowly catching her up when suddenly she tripped and stumbled right into a young girl. Composing herself, she carried on scampering away leaving the girl on the floor, her friend running to her aid. John and Sherlock were closing in until she vanished into a familiar flash of light. “Urhhh!” The detective grunted as he slowed his pace. “B-but... how can she just vanish like that.” His eyes darted around the place in an attempt to find her in the distance as he caught his breath. “Oh cool! It's Kahn and Bilbo! Hehe, it's like the Sherlock Holmes and John Watson duo isn't it Cat?” A voice from behind them spoke gleefully. Cat, who was dusting herself off after having been crashed into, laughed. “That is very clever. It would have been better to have been Smaug and Bilbo- still have the duo but they are from the same film!” She replied to her friend. John and Sherlock, in sync, darted their heads to face these two teenagers who were marvelling at their costumes. “Waiiit... are... are you actually Benedict Cumberbatch?” Spoiler: Chapter One View attachment 38127 View attachment 38122 “No way! And Martin Freeman? This is impossible!” The other girl, a blue bandana in her hair, shakily spoke before bursting into starstruck hysterics. “This is so perfect!” Cat boomed as both girls neared the duo. “How do you know our names?” Sherlock enquired, his deep voice booming out. “How can we not know your names?! Oh wait! Are you remaining in character? That's brilliant! Yes, sorry, I don't want to break your canon.” Cat smiled, the other girl just beamed remaining quite speechless. “But this has just made our day! Please, Bilbo, Kahn, can we have a photo and your autograph?” “I don't understand... who is Martin... Freeman and... what was the other name you said?” John uttered completely struck by these girls. “We haven't got time for this John, she's getting away.” Sherlock expressed as he turned around and crashed right into another man holding an ice cream. “Woah! Sorry there! Didn't mean to startle you.” The skinny man grinned as he took a bite of his cone. Loner. Father. Lost children. Foreign. Vain. Right handed. Dog owner. Adventurer. Untidy. Likes to think he is cleverer than everyone. “Wait... it's you!” John smiled pointing at the man in a suit. “It's actually you! Are you taking part in a Q&A panel?” The other man looked confused. “Sorry, I'm just such a big fan Mr Tennant.” “Sorry, Mr who?” Sherlock was dusting himself down at this point before looking up at a man purely resembling.... no one Sherlock knew. “Who is this John?” “Who- Who is this? It's David Tennant! Yeah, he plays the Doctor in Doctor Who.” At that, the skinny man raised his defined eyebrows and stared at the man dressed as a hobbit. “How- how... where do you know me from?” The man arched his back as his face neared John's. “Well Doctor Who of course, it's a great TV show!” “TV show? What sort of TV show? I'm not from a TV show. Am I? Cat? Kathy?” He looked over John's shoulder at the two teens still drooling behind Kahn and Bilbo. “Cat! Kathy! Are you with me?” “Whut? Oh... no, wait... a TV show? But you are the Doctor, no one knows who you are... right?” The girl with the blue bandana, obviously Kathy spoke, tripping over her words. “No but Doctor... it's Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch!” Cat squealed and she bounced up and down, Kathy quickly joining in. “Pretending to be Sherlock and John while dressed as Bilbo and Kahn! Isn't it brilliant?” “Sorry, pretending?!” Sherlock swivelled around. “What do you mean by pretending? We are as much Sherlock and John as you are a fool now if you don't mind we are very busy and have a criminal to catch.” “Wait, wait, wait, wait... are you saying you are actually Sherlock Holmes and John Watson? And you really don't know where you are?” The Doctor enquired staring at the two detectives. He pulled out a flimsy pair of 3D glasses and, for some reason, put them on. “Blimey, you really are. Talk about fiction creating whole new worlds. You've been through the void to get here.” “So you aren't Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman?” Cat puzzled over this as it registered on Kathy's radar. “Oh my, you are actually from the Sherlock universe?” Kathy spoke up as Sherlock and John's heads darted between the three people who talked to them. “We have to get you out of here, the fangirls will eat you up.” “'Sherlock universe'? Don't be so stupid. You've obviously seen us in the paper and your low self esteems are glorifying us into huge celebrities now I have had enough of this!” Sherlock yelled, the two young girls remaining silent. “Yes, both of you boys are from another universe because here you are from a TV show-” The Doctor whipped off the glasses and, with one concerned look, calculated all the possibilities of such an incursion. “Sherlock, the blow to our heads has either caused us to hallucinate or they really are telling the truth. I know him, the Doctor, the Tenth Doctor. Come on, I made you watch the 50th special last year.” *OMG FLASHBACK* “Bigger on the inside? That's impossible, the laws of physics don't allow it-” Sherlock bellowed as John took a sip of tea from his TARDIS mug. “No, but that's why it's science fiction. It's not real. Look, just watch it and you'll understand.” Sherlock sighed “... dull.” and picked up his laptop. “Sherlock, this is the greatest show in the galaxy, it's the height of British culture and all you can say is 'dull'?!” John demanded as his colleague sunk further into his chair. “I came around especially to watch it with you Sherlock and you are going to be a complete ******* and ignore it?” He lifted his head away from the screen and eyed John, “You already tried to show me that other episode where the wooden box fell for miles and didn't splinter, how implausible. Science fiction just doesn't excite me, it's not real, who cares how the universe will be saved when ultimately it is all pointless. Oh no, a huge alien is attacking the statue of liberty! What ever will we do!” He groaned as his eyes returned to his screen. “I need a case John, some real puzzle to get my teeth into.” John just rolled his eyes and turned the volume on the TV up as the familiar BBC logo prepared him for what was about to start. “Sherlock, just like you, a lot of people find life dull and to escape from it all they use fantasy as a gateway to another world, one with more excitement and adventure, with characters you can aspire to. To some people, this is more than a show, more than a tale, it is an escape and even the embodiment of hope that there is more out there and it often distracts people from their mundane problems.” Sherlock lowered his laptop screen and turned back to his friend. “John, people are attracted to fantasy because they are insecure. They idolise the parasocial relationship with celebrities because they can't handle normal relationships out of fear of rejection. A celebrity would never reject you, you don't have to give anything to them and it also allows teenage fangirls to gossip and bond over older men cushioning their transition from adolescence to adulthood. Fantasy just encourages such behaviour.” His eyes narrowed. “That's really something coming from you.” Sherlock ignored this comment and carried on typing. “For once, you are wrong Sherlock. It makes people more secure.” John spoke through gritted teeth as he watched Clara motorbiking down a road toward the TARDIS. * “I don't remember.” “Well of course you don't Sherlock, you refused to because it is something normal people watch in order to feel more secure.” John calmed himself as a few people around them looked over. “Okay, this is all wonderful stuff and frankly, I need to understand more about this but we are attracting attention so I suggest we get back to the TARDIS and talk about it there.” The Doctor, having finished his ice cream ushered the four of them toward an alleyway where he had parked his ride. “But... we were going to go see Eric Kripke and Jensen and Jared! Doctor, we are coming back! I have waited for this my whole life.” Cat demanded as they jogged toward the familiar blue box covered by shadow. “Eric Kripke?! Hold on, he's around here?!” Sherlock's eyes widened as the Doctor pulled the key out of his pocket ready to unlock his home. “We need to question him.” “Sherlock, if this is a different universe then that won't do any good.” John snapped, the detective glared at John with an ice cold look as if to say “Don't be so daft” before they were both pushed into the tiny blue box. In all the calamity, no one had noticed the size of the exterior and although John was familiar with such a concept, Sherlock blissfully ignored it. He looked upon the huge column, a greenish light radiating from the console welcoming him to take a closer look. Large columns twisted into organic shapes contrasted the mismatched knobs and buttons of the console. There was a rail covered with old yellow safety foam, a wrecked seat and steel grating decorating the floor, the whole ship a manifestation of organic nature intertwined with the harsh and industrial way of present day life. “If you do have anything you feel like saying then, you know, we're listening.” The Doctor grinned as he watched Sherlock's reaction. He took a small breath in and, clasping his hands behind his back, fixed his gaze upon the huge column. “Needs more seats.” “I'm sorry, excuse me?” Ten looked over to the tall man quizzically. “If this really is a 'ship' as you are all trying to get me to believe by the worn down knobs, buttons and dials then you should allow your passengers the comfort of an easy ride and yet you only have two seats which may suggest that only two people can board this ship but that doesn't seem to be the case as it would be a terrible waste of space. The people pleaser inside you would want their passengers to have a comfortable flight and yet the metal grating and the mess suggests more of a messy teenagers room or a prison as opposed to anything else. An aircraft's most prominent object is the places for people to sit so Doctor, this thing doesn't really fly does it? Or at least, it's only made for one.” Before the Doctor could open his mouth in annoyance the man continued. “Of course it was obvious, it has no wings and the box shape is the worst possible thing aerodynamics wise and do you really expect me to believe the exterior is just a tiny blue box? It's a farce. A fake, I am not fooled easily Doctor now if you don't mind, we have a murderer to catch.” “Wow, you really are Mr Crankypants aren't you? What is this murder case anyway?” Kathy chuckled before the Doctor could react. “Hang on a minute! He's just insulted my ship!” The Doctor yelled bounding up toward the console. “Yeah yeah, we'll get to that in a minute Doctor, you can show him up but we may be able to help in this murder case.” Cat, leaning up against the console, smiled. “A real murder, you don't get that everyday.” The Doctor raised his eyebrow. “Well, not everyone does.” The detective took a deep breath and began,“It was the murder of Robert Singer, former writer to some American television series. He was murdered after being seen walking into his private apartment next to the London ExCeLwith Eric Kripke, the head writer to the same show. They were in Britain doing a series of conventions when on the 18th April 2014, Robert was found dead in his apartment, locked from the inside and Eric was missing. He hasn't been seen since but we were on his trail when we ran into you.” Sherlock articulately reiterated to a room of eager listeners. “But weren't you chasing a woman?” Kathy questioned, “ We saw her because she bumped right into Cat, the *****.” “Yes, I'm getting to that. I acquired Kripke's number after extensive research and human error.” “By that he means he manipulated various people into getting the correct contacts.” John translated. “Anyway, it doesn't matter how I got the number, I sent him a message to scare him into coming out of hiding during the London 2014 comic con hoping to fool him into thinking I was the only witness there that could trace the murder to him. Of course we anticipated that he wouldn't show but would send someone else because he's a huge celebrity with many eager followers who would gladly help him, hence the woman you saw. We thought we could then use her to find Kripke but she has escaped us.” Sherlock continued explaining as he paced around the console. “We still can't work out how he did it though.” John added. “But, Eric Kripke wouldn't kill his close friend, they got on well, come on, he even named a huge character after him! Do you even know what the motive could have been?” Cat accused Sherlock as he, embarrassed, shook his head in response. “No, I have yet to figured that out.” Sherlock bit his lip, almost ashamed of the fact that there was something he didn't know. “Then how do you know it's Kripke for certain... and the weapon?” Cat continued. “The weapon was a medium sized blade that is presumed to still be with the murderer. It was an unusual shape, triangular almost so it shouldn't be hard to recover and incriminate the culprit.” Everyone else nodded their heads in acceptance, the Doctor still itching to prove this smug ******* wrong. “Right then, so you want to find this woman? From what I could see she hoped through a dimensional transport beam so really, she could be anywhere and when I say anywhere I mean, she'll be in another universe.” “But if that's the case then we can't get there, without other Timelords the TARDIS would just get stuck.” Kathy chimed in. “Ah yes, but! BUT! You are forgetting, we not only have people fresh from another universe, we also have, oh, I don't know, a dimension hopping-human space hybrid.” Beaming, the Doctor grinned at Cat. “Aaaaand with these two combined and the dimensional transport beam residue still hanging around, we can follow it!” “I'm sorry, but is that going to work?” John spoke out next to a pessimistic Sherlock. “Well, Cat is acting as the extra fuel bump we need, with you acting as a jump over the void and the residue leading exactly where we want to go. It's like driving down a road during a snow storm and you are low on fuel except, instead of a road it's eternal nothingness to a parallel universe- Cat's the fuel, the residue is the road and you are the headlights to make sure we don't get lost to the void. The void being the dead space between universes.” Dancing around the console, the Doctor began to act. “Right, we best do this while the residue is still there. Cat, John, Sherlock- are you all ready?” “Sorry no, ready for what? What do we need to do?” John demanded. “Basically, we need you both to join hands with Cat while the Doctor and I fly the TARDIS.” Kathy instructed as she pulled John and Sherlock closer to the console. “Not now Kathy! This is highly technical stuff, I haven't shown you this yet!” “Doctor, this is exactly the sort of situation where I should be training, it's not as difficult as you are making out now let me help, everyone else has something to do!” She stamped her feet eager to prove that what she had learned was enough to get her anywhere. “I'm not a little kid! I'm part time lord remember? It's in my blood to fly the TARDIS.” “Kathy stop it! You still don't fully know how to fly this thing and until you do you're not helping me fly it through the void. It's too dangerous.” “You can't tell me what to do... you're not my father... and you never will be.” Kathy choked back the lump snowballing in her throat before pushing past the other passengers and storming down the grating toward her room. “Doctor, she was only trying to help you.” Cat breathed calmly, yearning to rush after her. “Right Cat, are you ready?” Blissfully ignoring her comment, he grabbed hold of the final lever. “This is our one chance, we've only got one. I need you to give everything you can. Sherlock, John, just stand there, Cat and I will do the rest.” The young girl nodded while snatching up the clueless men's hands allowing her to channel the void stuff they were glazed in and coat their vessel in it. This would provide padding as they swam through the darkness between worlds causing them not to be consumed by it. With one huge release of energy, Cat and the Doctor simultaneously worked to burst through the edge of the universe and right into another. Concentrating hard, Cat focused on the light of the other universe, the void stuff surrounding them like a protective bubble as they stormed forward, the ship shaking and throwing each passenger about. “Wow, this really isn't very smooth!” John yelled over the rumble of the ride. “John, don't tell me you believe all of this nonsense?” Sherlock yelled, grabbing hold of the bannister to keep himself upright. “Only a fool denies what he sees in front of him. Sherlock, you have always told me that I see but do not observe but right now, between us, you are the blind one!” John couldn't help but smile at the reality dawned on him. The TARDIS, the actual TARDIS was transporting them through space and time, and in that moment he was living the dream of every fan girl and boy at that convention and none of them knew it. He could see Sherlock contemplating his surroundings but knew it would be hard for him to truly accept something outside of what he knows, this world was challenging his entire beliefs, no, his entire being and the stubborn man that he is, was having a horrible time adjusting. “Come on! Nearly there!” The rattling grew, the shaking of the vessel became stronger and stronger, Cat let out a mighty scream as she put everything she had into getting them to their destination when suddenly, with one foul swoop, they were jerked so hard they all flew backwards. Cat, adjusting her glasses, looked up to the ceiling before leaping to her feet and rushing after Kathy. John felt like he had been shaken and hit more than a maraca at a primary school musical fest in this last day.“Uhhhh... my head. Doctor? Where did we end up?” Pulling himself up to read the screen, the Doctor tried to focus his eyes. “I.... don't know.” Spoiler: Chapter Two View attachment 38124 Stripping themselves of their alter egos, John and Sherlock revealed their normal clothes that were buried under their costumes. The Doctor carried on adjusting, attempting to find some clue as to where they ended up and to find out whether their excursion had been a success but Cat and Kathy had run off into the depths of his ship and he couldn't walk off without them, he especially couldn't leave Kathy in this state. Gently knocking on her door, Cat gingerly stepped inside to find Kathy cocooning herself, rocking back and forth as the tears streamed down her face. “Kathy? Are you okay?” A stupid question she knew but it was the only one she could think of. Kathy craned her neck upwards and looked at Cat with tear stung eyes. “My home Cat! My whole universe! I came here to find the Doctor and to save it and yet I have done nothing! This takes procrastination to a whole new level.” Cat sat down next to her and, placing her arm around her, gave her a look of pure understanding. “We're in a time machine, we can go and save your universe! It will still be out there. You haven't failed at all!” “Cat, every day that passes I think 'today could have been the day that I save my world' but every evening I think 'today could have been the day my Dad... passed, the day my whole universe fell into the void' and yet every morning I feel like a failure for not going to his rescue. If I now hold the power to save my universe and do nothing then that makes me evil... but Cat... I am scared, I am scared of what I will find and of finally knowing whether I am orphaned and homeless.” “The only way to stop thinking like that is to go and do it, we'll be here for you for better or for worse. If you find that the worst does happen then you will always have the Doctor and I!” “That's the problem Cat, he's not my father. Everyday he serves as a reminder of what I don't do, he is nothing but a surrogate Dad while I remain an orphan but I don't mean as much to him as I do to my Dad, we don't share the same history because he travels too fast and loses everyone he holds dear. My father was the Doctor that stopped, the Doctor that settled down, we may have had very little besides ourselves but that was all we needed.” Kathy wiped her nose with a spare bit of toilet roll before falling flat on her bed. “The longer I wait the more likely I would have lost it all but every day I get scared of my failure.” “I know how you feel Kathy, really I do. I have no home now, this world has become my home and it can be yours as well, we may not be Rose and John but we can be what you never had, your friends.” Kathy choked back a small s****** remembering their fierce battle against the cyberplanner. “It would still serve as a reminder of my horrific failure in knowing that I could have saved them.” With that, Cat stood up and quickly turned to face her friend. “Right, you need to stop being so defeatist, you don't know what has happened, you can never know for sure so calm down and let us sort out the problem at hand and then go save your family. My universe has gone, I know what it's like to have no home, I was heart broken, distraught and alone and the Doctor was a replacement Doctor to the one I had back home who saved my life. We didn't have the same history but we made our own, we've grown close and I have made a new home. Yes, I do think back to where I grew up and think I can never return but I have grown to accept that fact and you will to. Kathy, you have always been so prone to excitement and danger, you are not weak- you entered a black-hole like portal in your attempt to save your world. You flew right into a world you didn't know, you crashed a Boumfer ship, our fault I know, and totally wrote it off, you would have been stuck on that world and yet you remained completely calm! You went inside my head without a second thought to save me, you endured so much so if anything, you are strong!” She stepped back, quite taken by the huge rant that escalated from her mouth. Kathy couldn't help but smile, this, this is what she needed, something she had never had, something she said she never needed, a denial based on her ignorance and loneliness, a friend. She had a friend in Cat and perhaps, right now, that was what she needed to help her through this. “You're right, perhaps I am stronger than I think. But you have to promise me one thing! When we finish this murder case we go, we go and save my universe. Don't let me put it off any more, perhaps it's better to live in no hope then to always wonder... I must have my resolve.” And with that, Kathy raised herself to her feet and hugged her American friend. “Now, let's go and save Eric Kripke! Unless he is the murderer, in which case: let's go and incriminate Eric Kripke!” “Come on! Why won't you analyse this world!” The Doctor, hammer in hand, bashed the console in an attempt to get the old, rickety machine under his control but, like a stray dog, refused to abide. Cat and Kathy walked back up to the main control room bringing with them a solemn and awkward tension, “Doctor..? I'm sorry for my outburst, I didn't just want to stand there and be useless. I'm sorry... it was uncalled for.” The Timelord turned to face the innocent girl, a guilt bellowing up inside him. Rose, all he could see was Rose, his Rose, standing before him, her gentle and fierce nature crushed together with a passion for helping others. “Kathy, I'm sorry for not letting you fly the TARDIS, I know you just wanted to help and I shouldn't have snapped.” Embarrassed, he slowly truddled toward her, a sincere apology on his lips. “I just don't want anything to happen to you, the TARDIS is unpredictable and I don't doubt that you will make a magnificent pilot, I'm sure even better than me, but that was just a crucial procedure that I needed to do alone, you know, so I can keep track of it. Perhaps on the way back you can help me.” “Yeah, I'd like that very much. I understand, I think I was a bit too pushy and eager... and reckless so I don't blame you really, but I would very much like to learn that, thank you, Doctor.” Kathy smiled feeling a lot more content with herself. “Speaking of which, Doctor, how are we going to get back? We followed the residue but surely that won't hold out for long and we are going to somehow have to get Sherlock and John back to their universe? Can the TARDIS handle that?” The gentle purr of the ship hummed in the background but, like a cat, was getting old and constantly being hit and bashed by her owner, perhaps it really would be too much Cat pondered. “Well, we got here, I'm sure we can get back. Now, I think it's time to explore the world we have ended up in, besides, we could still be in the void for all we know.” The Doctor chirped as he bounded past John and Sherlock, who had been silently listening to the conversation, and slotted into his long, flowing coat. “Right then, are we all ready?” He beamed as everyone gathered to line up ready to see the world they had landed in. “The great thing with parallel universes is anything is possible, each choice, each work of fiction creates a new universe so there are countless out there, it could have walking trees or purple rain or even Zeppelins and a President of the UK. This is the life of discovery, as a fellow scientist, I'm sure Sherlock would understand.” The detective just raised an eyebrow attempting to conceal his curiosity with indifference but failing miserably. “So, will magic exist? Will the world be governed by dogs, will it even be earth? Will it even have atoms? Will it even have-” he burst open the door and bounded outside to find- “America?!” Everyone quickly followed outside and stared up at normal trees, normal breeze, normal road and a normal road sign that read 'Interstate 95. Miami.' “Oooh! Miami!” Cat bounced up and down as Kathy sweltered in the heat. “Great parking Doctor, we're in the middle of a road in America, nothing looks different and what happens if someone drives around the corner-” Kathy, unimpressed, chimed in in a sort of mock indifferent tone. And at that exact moment, a truddling roar of an engine hurtling along this otherwise empty road, burst through the quiet silence of the wilderness. As it rounded the corner, the driver noticed the bizarre people huddling around a blue box and quickly swerved and braked just before they crashed into the little group. “What the hell do you all think you are doing standing in the middle of the road like this!” The driver, enraged, slammed the door of his shiny 1967 Chevrolet impala. “I could have killed you!” “Dean!” A tall, muscular built man stepped out of the other side of the car. “Dean stop!” “No Sammy, this is ridiculous, people don't just stand in the middle of the road when other people may be in a rush to get places.” “No Dean, don't you recognise that blue box?” The taller man, with shoulder length brown hair tucked behind his ears, went and stood next to the driver. “Yeah, so it's obviously some Whovian fanatics being dumb and STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FRIGGIN ROAD!” He shouted, Cat and Kathy just stood there, utterly speechless, they were on a day out to meet actors and writers but now they were face to face with the real deal. Of all the universes they could have ended up, this was the best possible place they could be. The Doctor, always taking the leadership role, approached the two men who were bickering by the car. “Sorry to interrupt but you wouldn't happen to be Sam and Dean Winchester?” The two men stared and, for the first time, truly looked upon this man who stood in front of them. Cat and Kathy are going to be going mental right now, the Doctor quietly thought to himself. He recalled one slow day when Cat was flapping about a new series of Supernatural that “you guys will just love” and after “just one episode!” they ploughed through the entire series while devouring tubs of ice cream. “B-b-but... it's you!” Sam pointed as the recognition in Dean's eyes began to spark up. And in one quick and subtle motion, opened a small metal cannister and dashed the Doctor with water. Shocked, the Doctor wiped his face dry and opened his mouth to speak only to have salt thrown at him as well as another sea through liquid. “All right, you're not a demon, a leviathin or any other monster that we know of. You aren't THE David Tennant are you?” “If you have finished assaulting me with random household substances then I will explain. No I am not David Tennant but I guess I am from some TV show in this world.” They looked at him confused. “Hello! I am the Doctor, yes the actual Doctor. I am not an actor, not a performer, I am a Timelord from another universe currently helping Sherlock Holmes, yes the actual Sherlock Holmes, chase a murderer. I am very sorry for leaving my blue box in the middle of the road, we have just materialised here and didn't mean to cause you any inconvenience.” “What? Really? But that can't be possible, the Doctor doesn't exist.” Sam exclaimed. Just then, out of the blue, Sherlock jumped up beside them and, eyeing them both, saw a multitude of deductions before his eyes. “Now I guess we are going to have to repeat ourselves as we all deny the existence of television show characters. Frankly, I've lost interest and am getting bored standing around watching as everyone chatters on and on about their problems.” “Now listen here, Sherly-!” Dean cut in rather abruptly but before he could finish was silenced by the detective. “Now, Dean was it? Don't project your Daddy issues onto us, were you ever hugged as a child? Probably not and didn't your mother ever teach you manners, oh sorry, touchy subject.” “How did you-?” Dean spoke, shocked. “You are a TV series in both his and my world.” The Doctor chimed in to break past his amazement. “Don't be so simple Doctor, I don't watch whatever show they are from, I could read it in his face.” Sherlock squared up to Dean before giving him a creepy, false smile. “Now, we are trying to catch a murderer but everyone here keeps having little hiccups every step of the way which is severely slowing us down when we should be acting fast.” “Erm, Sherlock, the writer 'Eric Kripke' is the head writer of this show.” Cat, jelly for legs, wobbled up to the gathering of testosterone and wits with Kathy in tow. “Dean, Sam, you guys are so cool! It's amazing to actually meet you!” “This feels like that time when we got stuck in a bunch of TV shows because Gabriel put us there but this time-” “But this time the TV shows have come to us.” Dean concluded his younger brother's thought trail and smiled, totally accepting this supernatural possibility. After Sherlock, doing exactly what he didn't want to do, repeated himself explaining the case they were following, the little group all gathered and contemplated the next move. “Well thanks for the explanation chuckles, as it so happens, we know of this woman and we were on our way to stop her from killing humans left, right and centre.” “Wait, you know her? Then who is she?” John questioned. “An angel of the Lord. One who is following in Lucifer's footprints and rebelling against her father, she thinks Angels are superior in every way and shouldn't have to bow down to the- what was it she said to us Dean?” “The 'Human contagion spreading and infecting everything we touch'.” “Exactly, so she's pretty pissed and wants to wipe us all out but more importantly, she wants angels to be victorious against the hunters. We know exactly where she is as we finally managed to track her down.” “She's a slippery one, always disappearing to some far off place before coming back to screw us all over. We've been following freak weather patterns and concentrated areas of 'natural' disasters and high death tolls.” “Yeah, but the problem is we've been tracking her for so long and every time we get to a place she was, she's moved on. We're too slow. We're racing toward Miami as that appears to be where the patterns are starting again but she moves fast and will probably evade us again.” The two brothers, map sprawled across the car bonnet with markings and scribbles covering the whole of the USA, explained. “Never fear! I can get us there! Or do you think it would be better to go in the TARDIS?” Cat beamed as her powers were coming in handy. “Well, we'll need you but we shall take the TARDIS. Everyone get in and yes, it's bigger on the inside, let's not go through that again.” “Hold on Doc, that's my car, I'm not just leaving my car, it's very special to me you know.” Dean argued gesturing toward his sheik black vehicle. “And that box may be bigger on the inside but my baby won't have a snowball in hell's chance of getting through those doors. “Well, I guess we can just materialise around it.” He pushed everyone to get inside the box, Cat ahead of everyone else, and he began setting up the preparations for the short hop of about 20 feet. “Kathy, would you care to help me fly the TARDIS?” Kathy beamed and leaped at the chance. “Of course Doctor, short hops are my speciality.” The young girl grinned from ear to ear before bounding into action, flicking a few switches and twisting knobs while circulating the console. “Doctor, can you operate the spacey buttons please?” Suddenly, with the obedience of the Doctor, the console sprang to life with the familiar wheezing of the old time machine. “Dean, Sam, your car should appear in the garage which is third door on your left. There wouldn't be space in this console room so we've shifted it there.” The Doctor gestured down the corridor to the smiles of the two brothers who strode off with purpose to find their beloved vehicle. A few minutes later they came back with grins on their faces and a skip in their manly steps indicating a successful hop in space. “Now, can you boys tell me exactly where she will be so we can put this mess to an end?” “Well we can't tell you exactly but we do know she likes tall office blocks with lots of people in and enjoys to slowly destroy the foundation by creating a deep abyss until the building falls down killing thousands standing inside and hundreds of people on the ground. That is where she will be.” Sam stated. “It seems to be her signature move.” “Well... that narrows it down because it's not like Miami isn't filled with high-rises!” Cat picked her brains as she filtered through all the buildings of her home. “It's only logical she would go for the tallest building. If her motive is the highest death toll for the least amount of energy then I would start there.” Sherlock chimed in, the slow minds of everyone around continued to frustrate him immensely. “Surely you could have worked that out.” He fished out his phone and began flicking through his apps before realising, “I have no signal. Does this box not have wifi?” The Doctor grabbed his phone and soniced it hoping to shut him up. “Better?” “Yes, thank you.” And with a whirl of his fingers, began his google search. “Of course, it will have to be in the city centre and at the correct time of day when people are on the streets so ideally would be around lunch time or maybe when leaving work as that will create traffic on the roads. If it could cause a domino effect then it may even cause more damage than the tallest building so ultimately, we are looking for a high street area, a fairly tall building and perhaps even one built in such a way that makes it safe from natural disasters.” “Why?” “People will feel quite safe there so it would come as a horrendous shock when the building does collapse because it's not built to withstand a loss of foundation, this will cause widespread panic and I am sure that is exactly what this woman wants as someone who detests the human race. And if my calculations are correct the building best suited would be the Four Seasons Hotel Miami.” Sherlock finished calmly, phone in hand, showing a picture of the exact hotel's webpage. “I predict that it will fall at around 5:15pm when people are leaving work.” Everyone stared at him, wide eyed, mouths agape. “Right. Well, let's go there then. Kathy, Cat?” The Doctor shoved a lever preparing for take off. “Ready!” Both girls shouted as they prepared themselves. And once again the TARDIS wheezed and groaned, coughing like a geriatric with asthma. Cat grabbed hold of the ship to lend her power to it, the foreign universe would be hard to navigate with no place to draw her energy from, thankfully, Cat was one with the time vortex so power was what she could offer. “Urhhhh, I am not going to be able to jump through space and time for a long while... I am knackered. Give me some time to recuperate.” Cat doubled over, her muscles ached as they had arrived. Every fibre of her being felt like it had been sucked dry, parallel universe jumping was really taking it's toll on her. “Right then! Below the building of Hotel Miami, arriving at 4:48pm which gives us plenty of time to sort this mess out... well, I say plenty.” Dean, after having run off to his car again, came back tucking a weird shaped blade into his belt whilst holding a gun under his armpit. “Let's go get this son of a *****!” He yelled, cocking the gun and handing another one to his brother. “No, no killing! We aren't here to kill her.” The Doctor, stampeding toward Dean with great purpose, yelled. “Doc, this is no time to get all high and mighty, if we don't kill her then she will kill us. It's a kill or be killed world and I'm not standing by while I watch you all die pointlessly and very far from home.” Dean argued, a frown of authority masking his face. “That is not how we work. We don't use violence to end violence. It makes us no better than them. We stand for life, not just human life and not just alien life, all life and I will not let you kill her when there is always another way.” “Yes, that is great in theory and it may even work in your universe but this is our universe and we ain't governed by your rules and we sure as hell ain't going to let thousands die trying to talk to her over tea and crumpets. She's more powerful than anything you would have faced so I suggest you shut up and follow our lead.” “All right, I will, but first let me talk to her. Please, if that doesn't work then we will do it your way but first please let us try a peaceful method.” The Doctor pleaded. “All right, we'll see where the peaceful method takes us. If it doesn't, then we'll kill her.” Dean held up the sword, it was pure silver, beautiful and shiny with a bizarre triangular blade. “Dean, where did you get that blade?” John, who had been quite quiet up until now, spoke, voicing the same thoughts as his colleague. “This? It's an angel blade, all the angels carry them and it's the only thing that will kill an angel. An angel friend of ours gave it to us to use in emergencies. Why?” “It matches the murder weapon precisely.” Sherlock was already by Dean inspecting the strange blade. “Hold on, you're not implying Dean and I are the killers?” Defended Sam. “Oh no, this wasn't the blade that did it, but it is identical. It would be illogical for you to kill the writers of your own show. Plus your shock reaction to seeing our group was genuine.” The curious looks of the rest of them beckoned him to explain his deduction. “your pupils were dilated, you were shocked. So no, you aren't the killers, plus you said yourself all angels carry them and if this woman is an angel then it would be logical that it was in fact her who killed Robert Singer.” “But then where is Eric Kripke?” Cat gingerly butted in to the stunned silence of the room. “Well, I guess we'll have to find out, come on.” The Timelord headed straight for the doors with everyone following close behind. None of them were adverse to danger so none of them had to think twice about stepping outside those doors, the thrill of the danger pulsating through their veins as one by one they walked out onto a dreary, rocky area. Right in front of them was a huge abyss with varying spikes of rock breaking through the nothingness, they were standing on a fairly large ledge with another rocky ledge the other side of the huge cavern. Their footsteps echoed each time they placed their feet down, the floor felt so unstable, the building that was on top of them could fall any minute any sudden move could set it off. There were small globes of light surrounding the place, managing to give the chasm a dreary, medieval look. “And who do you think you are?” A shrill voice pierced the silence, the echo reverberating back toward them stabbing their delicate ears. The group swivelled around to look upon this woman, the light barely illuminating her face. “Wait, I know you two... you followed me here?” She grumbled gesturing to Sherlock and John. “I guess it was you boys who sent that message to his phone.” She held up a brand new iPhone that had obviously belonged to Eric Kripke. “Well that just won't do.” “I am the Doctor. And who are you?” “Hmph! They call me Korah. You're not part of this vile race of humans but you bear their resemblance therefore, your face offends me.” “Well Korah, that wasn't very nice-” “Did you kill Robert Singer?” Sherlock interrupted, his voice rumbled through the cavern. “Proudly. He got in my way. I had nothing against him but he saw me, he sealed his own fate.” Korah snapped, hissing and biting at the rest of them. A scowl covered her taut face, her eyebrows pointed and her thin lips were pursed. “I didn't kill him, his own actions did, I just carried out the sentence.” “Why? What have you done to Eric Kripke?” The detective continued to question. “That smug ******* thinks he could do what he likes. He's a human! Nothing more! And he alone decides what happens to us angels? He has no right! If he is the creator of this world then he should suffer severely. Of course I couldn't just kill him, I don't know what would happen to this place and to me so I sent him back, back to a time before he wrote Supernatural so he could convince himself to write it in our favour. Angels will be victorious.” “So you want to change your own past through the writing of someone else?” The Doctor raised an eyebrow to this absurd playing with history. He could almost smell the paradoxes. “I don't like your tone, Doctor.” She spat, poison on her tongue, “You judge me? I don't think that's a very wise thing to do. The rest of you, don't even bother introducing yourselves, I've had enough of you already, I'm sure you won't be missed.” She raised her spindly fingers, nails like claws, her skin an icy pale even in the warm light of the cavern. “Wait!” Cat burst through the group, Kathy following fearful of what she'd do, she had always been protective of Cat for whatever reason, she knew she had suffered dearly and refused to let anything become of her. In a way, her safety felt like her own responsibility and she would never let some bitchy angel harm her friend. “Don't do it. I know a more effective way of rewriting your history.” Korah lowered her hands, her stare boring into the young girl. “Go on.” “You have to promise to let me and my friends live.” Everyone stood back, amazed by Cat's bravery. “For now, yes, I will let them live.” “No! That's not fair. Hmmm.... How about a wager?” Cat groaned, her body still tired from before. This alerted the group to various cries of complaint and shock. “Name your terms.” Korah slowly walked up to Cat, her hands clasped behind her back, her shoulders arched in a vulture like pose. “If I win, you take us all home to our universes, this includes bringing Robert Singer back to life and returning Eric Kripke. But if you win then I will give you my powers which will allow you to travel back in time and space without using up your powers so you can even travel back and make angels win. I will also tell you how to easily wipe out the human race whilst making them suffer dearly.” “Alright, and even if you die I can pry your powers away from your cold dead body.” A grin slowly spread across her face. “Now, what shall we do to find the victor? How about this, take the glasses from my face, that is all. If you get my glasses then you win but if you die or fail to grab them before this building collapses then I win and I will enjoy killing you all... slowly and painfully.” The yells from the group were getting stronger. “Oh and one other thing, you can't use your powers, but it seems it's not physically possible for you to use them right now anyway.” “Cat, I can't let you do this! You're endangering yourself!” Doctor. “Cat, this is stupid! Let us deal with her.” Dean. “No! You don't know what she's capable of!” Sam. “Don't do this!” John. She turned and faced Kathy, who was just standing in stunned silence, a fearful expression quivering on her face. Through it all, through her trust in her friend she nodded giving Cat the confidence boost to agree. “All right, you have a deal.” She held out he hand for Korah to grasp, her spindly fingers tightening around her palm, and they shook on it. “No backing out now!” The woman smirked and teleported away before reappearing on the far ledge. “You didn't think it would be that easy did you?” Her cackles echoed, reaching the group in a staggered fashion. “You'll have to jump across to this ledge without using your powers if you want to get my glasses. Start when you like, but remember, you don't have long!” “Cat stop! You didn't need to do this, if we got close enough then we could easily kill her, you're going to get yourself killed.” “Sammy's right, this peaceful way of yours Doc doesn't look very sturdy from where I am standing.” Cat remained calm, Kathy silently walked up to her and looked her in the eye, “Are you going to be okay?” Her concern shone through, her fear causing her voice to quiver, but she put her faith in Cat as she wrapped he arms around her. “I'll be all right, don't worry about me.” Cat shot her a reassuring grin which Kathy warmed to. Sherlock walked forward, lent down and whispered in her ear. The young girl nodded and looked up at the detective, a small smile carved on his face signalling how he was warming up to this little group. “Okay. Now, better get started, not much time.” And with that, she jumped across to the nearest pointed rock with ease, the rough texture not affecting her palms at all. She was off, leaping from spike to spike, hanging to to the sides and climbing up them like spiderman, for whatever reason, she showed talent in this area despite her muscles crying out in pain. This didn't reassure the group who stood on the edge, biting their nails staring, wide eyed at the young girl. “Getting complacent are we? I don't think so.” Suddenly, Korah teleported to the rock peak just ahead of Cat. “Shall we make it a little more challenging?” Her fingers twisted and the rock that Cat was clinging to for dear life began to move, the breakage causing a ricocheting effect across the dark abyss. Quickly, Cat jumped back to the previous rock and, perched on the top, began to scour at Korah. “No fair! I can't use my powers so why can you?” “Because you never said I couldn't, keep up. It's fair because we shook on it, so don't try to outwit me girl!” Korah snarled whilst still retaining her vulture like stance. “I don't like girls who try to be clever!” “Yes but it also wasn't there saying you could us your powers! How about this, we up the wager? You can use all your powers, I can't use mine but if you win then I will tell you the locations of every hunter that could stop you starting off with Sam and Dean Winchester over there, I know them all, I know this show so very well and I can even advise you on the best ways to beat them. But if I win, then after you've taken us all back, you lose your angel powers completely and become human.” Korah winced at the prospect of becoming part of the contagion but agreed quickly. “All right then, I suppose you won't mind if I do this.” She flicked her fingers out causing the gravity around Cat to increase immensely pressing her into the rock. “Or this.” A strong wind howled and threatened to wipe Cat off her podium all together. “Or maybe both together!” The young girl quickly sprang to another rock attempting to escape the fierce elements, she reached out her hand to grab hold of the stone and steadying her grip clung on. A deep thundering, a crack of rock splintering reverberated around and before Cat could react the peak that was supporting her crumbled, falling and dragging the exhausted and weak Cat down into the abyss. Spoiler: Chapter Three View attachment 38123 Kathy's eyes widened. No. This could not be happening... this abyss... this nothingness in that moment expanded, expanded to the far reaches of Kathy's mind. It felt like slow motion as she watched her friend lose grip and stumble into the unknown, her screech piercing right through her heart. “Such a shame.” Korah grinned as she watched Cat fall. “That was a mighty fall. It's a good job all the information I need can be extracted from corpses. Hmm, I am finding the dead to be so much more use to me than the living, I mean, who would want to animate a living, sane person.” She cackled while slowly creeping toward the group, walking on the air as if it was solid. “No... Cat.... CAT!” Kathy yelled falling to the edge of the rocky platform they all stood utterly defenceless. “May-maybe she teleported out before hitting the bottom... maybe... maybe s-she's okay...” the pain oozed out of her words like thunder out of a cloud. Her body was numb, her eyes unblinking, her brain oblivious to the danger creeping her way. Silence. The endless chasm became even more hollow as she melted to it's floor peering into the darkness, her thundering heart beat held back the tears, her whole body began to shake uncontrollably, her worst nightmares realised. Of course this is how it was meant to be, any happiness Kathy could obtain was a farce, she didn't deserve it so why even hold out for it? Everything that made her smile was snatched away from her like taking candy from a baby. The cries of the rest of the group fell on deaf ears, her world around her was crumbling into a million little pieces, the Doctor grabbed her by the arm attempting to pull her out of this rut, he had a massive sense of urgency with this but Kathy was transfixed, her eyes stared out into the darkness, the rock dust melding with it forming an endless chasm before her. “KATHY!” The Doctor, quivering, pulled her to her feet like picking up a puppet loosely strung. “Get into the TARDIS!” He pulled her back with an urgent jolt, her feet simply dragging along the ground before he sat her down beside the console and shut the doors. The darkness. The never ending darkness encased her, surrounded her, perhaps the console room could no longer console her, all the lights were off, the darkness had snuffed them all out. “Doc, what happened to all the lights?” Dean yelled over the chaos, perhaps it wasn't just Kathy then. “Ruah!” The Doctor, enraged, slammed his fist into the console. “No, don't do this! Please, don't...” His voice trailed off. “What is it Doctor?” John rushed up to the Timelord the fear beating in his chest. “It's dead. We're all dead.” He whimpered. “The TARDIS draws it's energy from our universe but it can also use Cat who holds the power of a TARDIS... but without her...” “We're stuck.” Solemnly Kathy spoke. The silence was deafening. “Right that's it, we've tried the peaceful method and it hasn't worked, Dean! It's time to do it our way.” Sam yelled, Dean quickly unsheathed the angel blade and followed him. The Doctor made no protest whatsoever. He stood there staring into space holding back the tears. And once again, someone else he failed to save could be added to his tally. Suddenly, like claws across a chalk board, a horrific screeching could be heard from just outside the doors. “Little men, little men, let me come in!” Korah's calm voice turning the groups blood to ice. “If you don't then I'll huff and I'll puff and cut you all to shreds and after bringing your lifeless remains back to life I will pour acid over your skin and enjoy watching it peel off slowly one by one so you can all watch each other perish and die like the rodent scum you are.” Her nails clawed the side of the blue box, the sinister screeching making everyone's hearts beat in their throats. “Doctor, could she get in here?” Questioned John, fear rattling through his bones. “Doctor?!” “With her power... I don't see how those doors would stop her...” The Timelord replied sombrely. “Looks like it's down to us eh, Sammy?” Dean held onto the blade as both brothers neared the door, the Doctor flicked a switch allowing the exterior to come onto view on the scanner, Sherlock, John and the Doctor all watched it intently accompanied by the silence of the death bells. The hunters, readying themselves to swing open the door and surprise her, stood with their backs to the wall. They both calmed their breathing before abruptly swinging open the door and kicking the angel in the face. Korah flew back enraged, a scream bubbling up inside her, but before she could react, the brothers had her pinned to the floor, blade ready to deliver the final blow. The scream boiled out over her lips, her breath the stench of death, her raspy voice lifting like steam out of a kettle. “Don't be so foolish!” With a great force the brothers chance was swept from beneath their feet. Dean looked up, a twinkle in his eye, a ray of hope swam through his mind so quickly that he got to his feet and eyed up the angelic being before him. “Hey chuckleface! Looky here! You think you can have dominion over the human race? You think we are weak and will bow down to the likes of you? Do you really think you can succeed against the 7 billion people on this planet? How will you feel though when we beat you? I bet it would destroy you internally.” Dean danced around licking his lips. “Come on, show me what you got! Show me this almighty angel power of yours!” “You're trying to distract me, I don't think you understand, my eyes are everywhere, I can see you both, feel you both very clearly and you can't escape.” With a flick of her wrist, Sam was pinned to the ground by a tremendous force, his scream letting out the pain of his insides slowly being crushed. “Your brother can't help you.” Korah leaped forward and swiftly grabbed and pinned Dean to the floor in one smooth motion. She kicked the blade out of his hand and crushed it with her heel abolishing all hope from their faces. “Now I shall enjoy skinning you, the Winchesters, not so powerful now are you? And perhaps this time, you will stay dead.” “I'll take these thank you.” The voice shattered through the group on the TARDIS, piercing through their disbelief. “How can your eyes be everywhere if you need to wear glasses? Trust me I know.” Cat stood triumphantly behind her clasping Korah's thick rimmed glasses in her teeth. Cries of joy filled the TARDIS as the disbelief shattered jolting the life and soul back into the team. Kathy, without a word, sat upright and bolted right out the TARDIS doors to see the miracle with her own two eyes. “Cat..? Is it really you? I can't have gone mad already.” Kathy smiled as she watched the angel, gob smacked, the realisation of her situation sinking in. “It's me, it's really me.” Cat beamed. “What can I say? You'll never get rid of me.” Both the girls laughed before running into an embrace. Everyone was quick to follow out of the TARDIS to see the wonderment before their eyes. “Cat! Ha! But how did you-” The Doctor sang, his natural energy filling up his skinny body once again. “You have Sherlock and John to thank for that. John for being a devoted whovian in trying to get Sherlock to watch Doctor Who which shows at some point I'm sure, that the- what did you whisper to me Sherlock?” “The TARDIS is indestructible. A great fall would have little effect on it.” “Exactly, and since I am part TARDIS then the time vortex protects me. Then there was the matter of getting back up, I was going to just climb it until I was offered a little angelic help.” “From the gay angel man?!” Kathy laughed. “Sorry, the anelg!” This brought both girls right into hysterics as everyone stared at them still eager to find out the story ending. “You mean Cas?” Dean asked, pushing the in-shock Korah from sitting on top of him. “Castiel helped you?” “Yeah, I did my fangirling then when he appeared, I couldn't use my powers to get up here, I would forfeit the wager, plus I'm still exhausted, but Cas was more than happy to fly me up. I then very sneakily crouched behind a rock hoping to alert Dean and Sam to my presence without disturbing Korah which, thanks to Dean being thrown backwards into a rock, saw me with ease allowing me to sneak up on her and take the glasses from your face. Of course, you wouldn't even have considered the idea of me having survived, would you Korah? You were too caught up in your victory and this isn't fiction, this is real, the heroes don't always miraculously come to life.” She laughed making her way toward Korah. “I... have failed...” Korah was knelt down beside Dean, her eyes staring into space, concentrated on her own failure. “Beaten by mere humans!” “Korah, I don't need you. We don't need you any more, so I lower the terms simply to you losing your angel powers. See? I'm nice like that.” Cat laughed before a thin figure in a trench coat appeared beside her. “Korah, you are a disgrace to the angel name.” Castiel reached out his hand toward her face ready to strip her of all powers. “You don't deserve it.” “No!” She yelled jumping back away from Castiel. “I refuse to bow down and refute my powers!” She swung her arm across her body and smacked it into an adjacent rock causing it to shatter. She swiftly manoeuvred her position causing the rock shards to fly toward the group. “You will all die by my hand before I lose anything!” The whole floor began to slowly crumble as the fragments, like bullets, were shot straight for them all. Everyone ducked and most just flew off behind them but one lone shard pierced the upper thigh of the great detective despite his best efforts to evade it. Sherlock buckled over and let out a scream behind gritted teeth. John was immediately by his side, Cas already next to Korah restraining her before she could do any more damage. Blood poured out his leg, the main artery had been sliced open by the rock. “Sherlock! Stay with me! You can't die on me now, not again!” John's cries were all that could be heard over the crumbling of the rocks, the foundation was breaking apart and the building's fall was eminent. “Cas! Keep hold of Korah! Kathy, Cat! Help me fly the TARDIS! Dean, Sam, help John carry Sherlock! Everyone, get in!” The Doctor demanded, fire pumping through his veins. “I am not having any more death today!” Everyone quickly obeyed before they fled from the tremoring foundation. “Doctor! How do we stop it? How can we stop this building falling!” Cat yelled, her mind darting through her thoughts to find any possibilities. “I can hold it back and reverse the damage done to the foundation but someone has got to hold onto Korah!” Castiel yelled above the earthquake-like rumblings. “Cas, give her to us! But first, strip her of all powers so she can't escape.” The brothers replied to the nod of the angel, he placed his hand on her forehead and stripped all power away leaving her trapped inside the hollow body that she resided in. “Now hold onto her!” He threw her, like she was nothing more than a tennis ball, at Sam and Dean before disappearing to save the people of Miami. The Doctor flicked on the scanner to watch as the Angel got to work in holding back the building with a time distortion before disappearing off to deal with the damage below. Cas appeared in the foundation, the crumbling had just been paused but he couldn't hold it for too long so he had to act fast. Lifting his hands, he let out a mighty roar and reversed the timeline of the foundation alone. The energy drained quickly from his face as rock pieces merged together to form larger rocks which came together to form even larger rocks, soon the abyss was filled and the empty space was no more. The angel stood where Korah stood a few hours ago as she worked at hollowing out this rocky base. He breathed hard and remained focused until the only space that was left was the tiny vacuole where Cas stood, he stopped and fell to his knees, he let go of the time distortion allowing the building to firmly stand upright without aid. With that success, he used his remaining strength to teleport away to the TARDIS. “Urrrh, it is done.” Cas voiced as he fell to the ground unconscious. Dean rushed over to him to check if he was okay, which he was to the resounding cheers of the group. “Good, now that is sorted, Kathy did you get the first aid kit?” The Doctor asked looking over at Sherlock. She nodded and rushed over to him. “Now Sherlock, I need you to remain calm while I bandage up your leg.” John steadied his breathing, confidence flew through him as he refused to let anything become of his friend, his best friend. “Okay, the placing of this shard is in a bit of an awkward place,” A wet cloth in Sherlock's hand covered the wound just below his crotch, his tensed body trying to stop the flow of blood, it was useless, it flooded out of him like a river through a bank. “So Sherlock, I need you to let me touch it. Move your hand so I can get to it before you wedge the rock in any more.” He obliged and removed the cloth and John quickly got to work removing as much stone as possible and cleaning up the wound before bandaging it up. “It won't do much good, he needs a hospital, the bandages won't last long at all, the femoral artery is cut open and it won't close without proper medical equipment.” “Miami will have a hospital, we can just go there!” Kathy bellowed. A deep laughter could be heard from beside Sam. “Die human die! You can all rot for all I care.” It was Korah, the 'almighty' Korah, now a simple human. “You deserve it.” Mascara was dripping down her face like chocolate sauce on an ice cream, her eye make up was smudged from her tears. “At least I did something right!” “Can it angel breath, although you're not so angelic now are you?” Dean smirked to the sour scowl of Korah. “You could say that you had a mighty fall from heaven.” The Doctor had already flown the TARDIS to a nearby hospital to get Sherlock checked in. After a few hours of waiting, Sherlock came out stitched and with a huge limp and an even bigger hospital bill in the other hand. “Thank you... everyone. I don't suppose there is any way of paying this bill off?” Sherlock asked still weak after surgery. It was a warm day, even the cool hum of the evening was enough to make Kathy cower away from the sun in a sort of vampire-esque way. “You leave that to us Sherly, I'm sure these credit cards can help.” Dean and Sam both smiled as they sat beside a still worn out Castiel. “I guess you all need my help to get home?” The angel croaked to the embarrassed nods of the others. “All right, I don't know if I can do it right at this moment though, I'm still recovering.” “Oh no, Cas, that's fine. You rest. I think we could have some fun in this world for a bit!” Cat beamed looking at Kathy who was thinking the same thing. “All right, but first, Sherlock, let me heal your leg.” “But, I just had the surgery to get it fixed.” “Yes but this will get rid of your limp as well.” Sherlock looked at Castiel blankly thinking the whole hospital trip was about to become pointless. “Look, do you want my help or not your little ****.” Sherlock laughed and nodded. The one thing that struck John was the lack of doubt in Sherlock's mind that it would help, he trusted the Angel and believed it would work. A few days later, Cat and Kathy had thundered around in the Impala whilst hearing of Sam and Dean's stories that they didn't know of, Korah was dumped in some backstreet area of the world forcing her to live her boring human life from scratch, fully detesting her own skin, Cas was much better and had been for a while but Cat and Kathy weren't ready to depart until a few days had gone by. As the group stood by the TARDIS, parked next to the Impala in some supermarket car park, they all prepared to depart. “It was great to meet you two. We're going to have to go and watch Supernatural from the start again, but this time we can enjoy it with a fresh eye.” The Doctor smiled down at his two companions who were already eager to implement the idea. “You too Doc, I need to watch all of Doctor Who, I'm sure Sammy here can fill in any gaps I have missed. And Sherlock, John, it's great to meet you too.” “Same here Dean, look after yourself.” John smiled, an upright Sherlock standing next to him. The boys nodded and hugged before getting into the TARDIS. “Oh and Doctor, I see what you mean about the peaceful way. Killing her would have been a much easier punishment than forcing her to live a life she will detest.” Sam spoke, shaking the Doctor's hand. “Well, that's not exactly what I had in mind but I suppose it works.” The Doctor smiled again before Cat and Kathy ran up to the two brothers. “Thanks for letting us ride in your car. I hope this isn't goodbye for good, it was an amazing experience. And Cas, we really can't thank you enough.” The Angel nodded at Cat and gave a small crooked smile, a rarity if there ever was one. And with that, they all got into the TARDIS before travelling back through the void, Castiel making the journey a much smoother ride. They landed back where they were in London, in the Doctor's universe. “Sherlock, John, it was amazing meeting you both and I hope we didn't mess too much with your mind Sherlock.” He smiled and shook the Doctor's hand. “I wonder if we'll ever see you again.” “Well, you have all been talking about the difficulties of interuniverse travel but we made it here easy enough so I don't see this as goodbye for good.” Sherlock smiled before walking out of the TARDIS with John and Castiel in tow. The TARDIS team thanked Cas and waved goodbye. “Now! Where to next girls? Saved the universe, not our universe but a universe which I think is enough cause for celebration.” The girls grinned. “Yeah, but I think Kathy wants to go somewhere.” Cat nudged her reminding Kathy of her promise. “Y-yeah, I-I think I would like to go save my universe now, since we're in the area of saving universes anyway.” The Doctor smiled. “Right then! Hold on tight, I will need you both to help me get there.” Poised at the controls, both girls readied themselves and prepared for what they were about to find. Spoiler: Epilogue View attachment 38125 John and Sherlock sat peacefully in Baker Street, the clock the only thing disturbing the silence. It felt solemn and boring compared to the excitement they had just endured. Sherlock lay on the sofa, his mind a huge whir while John just sat there, engrossed in the paper with a headline that read “The Supernatural reappearance of the Supernatural writers”. “John?” Sherlock's voice broke the silence further. His friend looked up at him awaiting the question. “Can we watch Doctor Who?” John laughed before rushing off to grab his box sets. View attachment 38126 Spoiler: Writer's notes Right, well that was just under 14000 words xD and I really hope it made sense and all the loose ends were tied up. I did notice my immense amount of speech, I tended to rear more towards speech than anything and it was hard to keep track of who was speaking without saying who said what and I found it hard to find new ways of saying it xD Oh well, I learned a lot from writing this and yes, I am sure there are spelling errors ;-; so please don't be too harsh on me nub >:3 Sherlock is incredibly hard to write for ;-; Well I thought so, trying to come up with clever deductions was quite a challenge and I think they were borderline alright but not really xD I found Sherlock's voice the hardest to write in as well, not sure why. Also, I was very worried about making the story rear more towards Kathy than Cat when she started crying but I made sure Cat was the one to save everyone >:3 because it is a story for you. So apologies if I got anything wrong about her character or took the limelight from her too much. I thought I would add in some nice character development :3
So in other news, I confirmed my place at uni! : D Spoiler View attachment 37899 Aaaaand, me and my friend have been discussing about how we are going to get very sad and homesick when we go off to uni so we were going to get a boxset of some show to help us through the tough times xD So, give us a good show that is lighthearted or funny or a good drama that we can get into whilst we cry into our dinners. ... So, like Broadchurch or Friends >:3 but if you all have a better idea then by all means SHARE! SHARE! SHARING IS CARING >:3
I have now reached a rather huge dilemma in life which I shall explain but my simple question is: Now that you are at uni/college/studying away from home do you find the city or the course to be more important? Also, is where you get your degree/Masters from important when it comes to people employing you? So basically, I got my final University offer today- 5/5 offers so I now get the fun part of choosing. Cardiff and Bath were always my top 2 choices and I knew I would go to one of them, I much prefer Cardiff but Bath is renown for being a better university (3rd on national league tables for studying Psychology). Cardiff is about 10th so it's not a huge difference but I am just a bit stuck. I'm sure I will get some silly answers >:3 but if I could get some serious answers then I will love you all 5eva!
Sure dreams are weird but I have had this dream at least twice and it's not like it's an exact repeat just the same general thing happens. Like what is my mind even doing?
Not even song lyrics because I listened to a lot of things while making these. So basically I have been doing lots of playing around with photoshop because THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS YOU CAN DO! And I find it hard to make stuff that I am happy with. I followed this tutorial because I was like "I WANT TO LEARN HOW TO DO DEPTH AND STUFF!" I then went on to make this one which I don't think came out as well but I tried xD (the tutorial I followed was incredibly bare bones though so I also followed the first one quite closely) CnC is much appreciated, be harsh, I must learn >:3 and otherwise I won't get anywhere.
I am so happy and loving KH1.5 don't get me wrong, I am thankful that they remastered it and brought Final mix outside Japan. However, upon playing it I thought it would be nice to have revamped the cutscenes a bit more- so instead of having so many moments of speech with the model having that dead expression and lip flapping, it would have been nicer for those bits to be revamped and made into fully mouth animated scenes. Spoiler Like this if I am actually making no sense xD The second expression changed to the first. There were other things, like have rounded edges not being so pointy, like Wakka's ball. Spoiler So my question is this, would you rather have had a full remake with nicer graphics seen on the PS3 or are you happily content with keeping it exactly the same as the original game but just made HD? Or are there any other changes you would have liked to see?
I have been spending a lot of time playing around in photoshop and I also decided to try my hand at entering this "Doctor who themed anti-bullying poster competition". And here are my two entries that I made, CnC would be much appreciated. No More I made a version with no pink or blue lighting but it felt quite plain but I have stared at it too much now to consider what looked good and what made it worse. The reason it is so big is because I wanted to get a higher quality poster but yeah, it's huge (if you click the link and zoom in). I drew the three Doctors using the pentool. LINK Spoiler Silence This went wrong but whatever xD he is supposed to be fading away LINK Spoiler Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Hello you wonderful bunch of people! The wonderful user Cat~ (currently Nui Harime) has been the head of a lovely little project within this forum for a while and has put a lot of effort into revamping it for your viewing pleasure. I shall let her explain though so please go and give this wonderful project your attention and use it to send something positive to another member: (Please note that you will remain completely anonymous as the host has been sworn to secrecy but if your message doesn't follow the forum rules then action will be taken toward you) (The banner will take you to the thread) Greetings, USERS! For those of you who are unaware, my name is TRON. I’m the program in charge of this system and all its sub-routines. We haven’t actually met, but I’ve been observing all interactions between the individuals on this server. It’s interesting to say the least, but it has come to my attention that some of you want to remain unknown when you communicate. If that’s the case, then look no further. This program was installed many cycles ago, but I’ve ensured that it remain virus free for the sake of every user on this system. At this point, you may be wondering how you can activate the program. Well, it’s quite simple. A user, much like yourself, has volunteered to maintain the program from outside the server. You need only follow this address and input your message. For the sake of efficiency, here is a pre-programmed template: There’s plenty of potential for this to become a success, but that can’t possibly happen without user interaction. Even if it isn’t much, trust me when I say that a few characters can make a big difference in a user’s day. Now, why don’t you send something in?
I wasn't overly fussed about this film but it's just sort of popped into my eyeline and after seeing this trailer I am actually really excited to see it. I was expecting it to be more serious as well but the trailer seems to have quite a comic edge, I wonder if the whole film will be like that, either way I am rather pumped to see it. I haven't read or seen any Guardians of the Galaxy before so I don't know the characters, some of you will probably know more about that side of things than me. Also, Karen Gillan!
And I can't work out why. Now I don't mean just this minute, it's all the time even when I am happy there is an underlying sadness that will keep coming back. I am currently on a gap year and will be going to university in September (Cardiff to study psychology) but until then I have 9 months to fill. I suppose I am someone who needs to do something, I worked hard last year and got good grades and enjoyed my extra long summer but the emptiness has kind of just extended into my gap year. At first I thought it was this, I wasn't doing anything useful with my time, I got a job which destressed me an awful lot but I still feel empty. So to counter this, I have been going the library every day to do some useful reading about psychology and write notes on a textbook I found (I like making notes, it put me at ease quite a bit) but still I am sad. There are friends I talk to daily but they are internet people so there is little contact, I go to church and that is the main place I see people (and at work but that is a different environment). I base my life on structure and when I don't have that I fall apart, perhaps that is what is happening to me but I have been implementing structure into my life with going to the library and it just hasn't helped. However, it's not even like I have nothing to do, I am currently doing a leadership course which is depressing me, I have lots of online training to do for work and various other personal things to do and yet I am doing none of it. I will either blame my growing laziness or the fact there is no deadline so I can easily put it off. I just don't know why, I have the time but to me the time feels empty, I have a lot of time when there is literally nothing I want to do, I feel like nothing will make me happy. Perhaps it has something to do with all my friends going to university and I am feeling extremely lonely but I don't think it is. I have only found happiness in immersing myself in Doctor Who as it's been a bit of an escape but that ends and it's more of a superficial happiness. I shouldn't feel like this as I have nothing to complain about but here I am and I literally have no idea how to fix it until I go to university. There is also Ben, a guy I met while visiting another friend at uni who I have been 'seeing' and I have really started to like him but on some days I just want to push him and everyone away and don't know why. The long distance relationship puts me off majorly because we won't be in the same place full time for a minimum of 2 years but more likely 3. He will bring me happiness when we visit each other but then when we are apart it will kill me inside. So, to sum up, my life basically just feels empty and superficial, I am sad when not with Ben or immersed in Doctor Who and I have no idea how to fix it all. I am not suicidal but I feel that any work that I do do will go unnoticed or I will disappoint someone, I feel completely demotivated to do anything productive that I haven't set myself and all I really want is to be happy and I don't know how. Sorry to ramble at you all, I kind of just wrote down all my thoughts as they came to me but I just need some advice for something, anything that could help me or even why I may be feeling like this.
Is it any good because I have a FREAKING NEW COMPUTER THAT ACTUALLY DOESN'T LAG WHEN I MOVE THE MOUSE : D and I now have the option to play games on it again and Dragon Age (both 1 and 2) are cheap (like £8 all together... rough $15). So, is it worth it? Otherwise Ass Effect 3 is going for £6...
Hey look guys! Guess what influenced this! *ahem* copyright Misty of kh-vids.net 2012... Anyway, I really like the art style of The World End with You (never played it though...) and I plan on furthering it this year so I made this in like an hour so it's not great but I was too lazy to change it. This isn't supposed to the the exact same style as the banner or TWEWY but it is based on them both :3 It is in for the 50th anniversary of Doctor who... funnily enough CnC and whatnot (also... the background is made up of THE SEAL OF RASSILON!)
