I don't really think there's any particular reason but it does tell you a lot about wand lore and the different kind of trees which make the wands later on. From that you can probably relate it to what you chose to receive your wand.
Agreed. I already have FES and P4 but wouldn't mind them putting these on the EU store as well as other Shin Megami Tensei titles like Nocturne. All for supporting Atlus! :D
I can't really say I'm surprised, there's no Monster Hunter after all. Even then I don't really think there's that much games on the system which interest Japanese buyers yet except for Hot Shots Golf and a few others. I would hardly call Uncharted a system seller there. I would give it a few more months when the heavy hitters start showing up then it will really lift off though whether it will sell as much as the 3DS I can't say.
Huh, who knew Serah had some on her after all... Um, uh, I mean wow, Sazh better be a synergist and hopefully he has all the offensive buffs and haste. It's a shame that they nerfed the buffs for Serah and Noel.
While I have no problem with certain games on handhelds, I can't exactly say some Kingdom Hearts fans would be happy with it. I know that if a BBSv2 comes out on say the PS Vita, I probably won't be getting because I don't really see anything that interests me about the PS Vita at the moment. I bought my 3DS not because of just Kingdom Hearts but because of other games as well. Not to mention that you have three Kingdom Hearts games that can be played on the 3DS. My point is of course the sales aren't as good as the console sales but that's because some people just aren't interested in handhelds or just have no money to buy all the consoles which the games are released on. Even then, I can't see the series dying. I believe the hype will be phenomenal for KH3 depending on how well Versus is done and lots of people will buy it because of that. Not to mention Nomura has stated that this isn't the end of the Kingdom Hearts series so he can constantly introduce new people to the series especially if they were to make a HD Compilation.
Ooh, the Fantasia world is looking lovely, can't wait to fight Chernabog again. Also the Grid looks pretty amazing from what I've seen in the trailer. Daft Punk should definitely be somewhere in that world, I agree with you Chev. Thanks for the updates.
It was pretty good, at first I kept comparing everything to Harry Potter probably because of the steam train and a few other things but after that I soon began to care for Radcliffe's character especially during the times he was at the house. As usual with most horror movies they try to apply jump scares which I'm getting sick off but at least they were quite effective especially in the rocking chair scene. I'm not spoiling anything about the ending but I thought that the 1989's ending was slightly better, even then it was still quite depressing. The only thing I could say I really hated was that a bunch of kids in my theatre almost ruined my experience by screaming at the most inappropriate times. I really think they should have just gone with a 15 rating simply because of this.
Apart from the horrendous Chocobo theme, the Lake Bresha Rap and the Worlds Collide song, I am quite enjoying the OST for this game from what I've listened to in the previews. My favourite is probably between 'Knight of the Goddess' and Caius' Theme.
Since its quite hard to decide for me, I will just pick one from this year, Portal 2. It had amazing characters (Wheatley and GLaDOS) and intriguing puzzles.
I do think change would be good such as an improved battle system however at this point it seems that Square Enix seem to be making excuses upon excuses. It's obvious they don't want to work on it at least not for a while. The thing is they still haven't tied up the secret ending in Dirge yet and Final Fantasy V and VI haven't been remade.
That was a bit obvious considering they took the 'Solid' out of the title however I'm wondering mainly how it will affect the main series. I don't know, I'm just not excited for this game if Kojima's barely if at all involved in it. Platinum Games is a plus but even then I'm not exactly a fan of Raiden.
Not really sure about this game. When I think of Metal Gear, I think more of the stealth aspect and while I could see some of it in the first trailer for this game, this trailer has none of it. Not to mention it takes place after MGS4 which makes no sense considering I thought Raiden started a family with Rose and his son. Now he's abandoning them? Why did he choose to become a cyborg ninja again? So many questions.
It will be interesting to see what Naughty Dog can do to reinvigorate the survival horror genre. After the Uncharted series though I have absolute confidence in them. I could see how a story could work between the two characters.
Can't wait for this game to come out, it definitely looks like one if not the most beautiful game on the PS3. I hope this game gets the recognition and sales it deserves.
...
I wouldn't put it past Square to not update the lighting and textures though may Sony is providing assistance in that? I also wouldn't put it pass them for having a trophy for dodging 200 lightning bolts in the thunder plains and considering the trophy whore I am I would probably go for it.
Sora's new clothes look like a mix between his limit and KH2 clothes from what I could see from the blurry video which is always good. Can't wait until TGS for more.
Well at least I know I'm not the only one depressed about this. I keep checking my emails every hour or so hoping to get mine.
Mickey wasn't that bad imo, he just wasn't Wayne Allwine and I feel he was just trying way too much to sound like him.
