I haven't uploaded any changes since my last post, but I just thought that the subs look a bit too high since we added the widescreen hack and letterbox removal. So I've decided to lower the text a bit. I'll be posting new files within a couple of days, but to get an idea of what I mean, here's an example:

The zipball only contains the changes I made to Olympus Coliseum, which was only a yes/no box. If you want all the recent changes your best bet would be to hop on the drive and snag all the incomplete files.

    Updated:

    Agrabah (Moved to Phase 2)
    - Fixed text spacing.
    - Any incorrect doorway text should now be correct.

    Atlantica (Moved to Phase 2)
    - Minor text update.

    End of the World
    - Translated & aligned Riku's Final Mix exclusive scene.

Hollow Bastion (Moved to Phase 2)
    - Complete text overhaul. Translated a whole lot of new lines as well as updated a few existing ones.
    * This includes some Final Mix exclusive speech bubble text of the princesses before fighting Unknown. (Thanks TheGershon!)

    * There are several lines still untranslated. But I have yet to run into most of these parts in-game, so it should be nothing major.
    * If any of you guys find garbled speech bubble text in Hollow Bastion while playing please post a screenshot here so I can try to translate it. A game save of that part might be helpful as well.

Halloween Town (Moved to Phase 2)
    - Fixed text spacing.

    Olympus Coliseum
    - Swapped Yes/No options when asked to start over (Originally no meant yes & yes meant no).

I'm in the process of fixing up Hollow Bastion and adding the missing speech bubble text. Right now I believe the only text I'm missing is some Final Mix exclusive stuff of the princesses talking right before you decide to fight Unknown. I've been trying to find an english youtube playthough of 1.5 HD Remix of this exact moment but to no avail.

If any of you own a copy of 1.5 and have a save set right before fighting Unknown, I would love for someone to talk to the princesses and take screenshots (or camera/phone pics) of each of their responses and post them here. They should be saying the following lines:
The reason why I need screenshots is because I want to match the way the text is aligned to how it looks on 1.5. If one of you guys can help me out with this that would be awesome! Once I have those, I'll probably play around with a few more things and upload the new files! :D

Ah gotcha. Thought you meant the world names and UI. Yeah I haven't seen the dialogue parts since I've just been concerned with the actual levels. Gummi ship stuff is crazycatz' territory, but he's apparently been busy IRL (as have I). I'm sure that's on his to-do list whenever he gets some free time. And I haven't touched Hollow Bastion because of how much freaking dialogue there is. The only part I've actually worked on was the Unknown battle cutscene, everything else was translated by others. About 15% was left untranslated and most of seems like Final Mix exclusive dialogue. I'll get to it when I can but no promises that it will be soon.

Now THIS is what I like to see! This, everyone, is the most informative bug post I've seen yet. THANK YOU for this!

Like you mentioned, they are all from Phase 1/2. Those have been translated by others and I haven't touched any of those areas yet, so that may be a contributor :p. Once I take a look at them I can probably spot a few discrepancies and fix them up.

The Gummi Ship menu IS translated. You might not have grabbed all the files or something. Aside from some very minor things, that part is pretty much done.

Also, we really only change text. So bugs outside of readability are kind of odd. Though, it has happened before. Perhaps the widescreen hack that's built into the game could be causing them? I'm also running the most recent SVN of PCSX2 in addition to having a pretty beefy computer if that matters.[DOUBLEPOST=1391765611][/DOUBLEPOST]Decided to update Wonderland. Go ahead and give that a re-download.
I did extremely minor testing afterwards and things looked fine for the most part. A lot of it is misaligned, but translated nevertheless.

    Next is Deep Jungle

EDIT: Deep Jungle updated. Let me know if it's still buggy for you. After minor testing it plays fine for me. Granted it played fine when I uploaded the original files. You might have to update your emulator.

Just wanted to post an update. Give me a few days and I'll be able to help out with this project again! Lets make those incomplete files actually complete! Booyah!

    (hey im alive)

The one thing I'm waiting for (if anyone is even looking into it) is the values to change message box sizes. I've been fitting text into the 4:3 message boxes with that code from the pcsx2 forums when I have time, but obviously it doesn't match up to the US release perfectly. And honestly I haven't looked at anything Kingdom Hearts related in a while. After this weekend I might have some free time to continue aligning crap :/

Other than that, has anyone been working on Hollow Bastion or Wonderland? Aren't those pretty much the only things we have left? Aside from my super duper alignment procrastination, aren't we like almost done with this beast of a game? :P

Just realized, crazycat's zip builder that sora posted earlier only contains the ARDs in the Completed folder on the drive. Which is fine, considering the files in the Incomplete folder are still buggy. This means that you only have translated versions of Disney Castle, Dive to the Heart, Destiny Islands, and Olympus Coliseum.

IF you want, you can download the files in the incomplete folder individually, toss them in your import folder, then run the ISO Maker on a fresh unmodified backup. Just don't post here if you find anything wrong with them. Seriously. I already know what needs to be fixed.

That part was already translated, so maybe you have older files? Regardless I looked over Traverse Town ARDs and fixed a few things I didn't catch before. So make sure to grab that if you want the most up-to-date stuff.

I'm still working on aligning Dive to the Heart & Destiny Islands when I have time, but like Sorentas said I'm super busy IRL :(

Everything is sorted into "phases". If you haven't read "phase info.txt" on the drive it reads this:

    Phase 0 (P0) : Untranslated
    Phase 0.5 (P0.5) : Partially translated or in-progress by jaden/chris/sora
Phase 1 (P1) : Translated (errors are common)
Phase 2 (P2) : Quick look over by Trilix (most errors resolved)
Phase 3 (P3) : Tested & aligned by Trilix (final)

Since everything in the Incomplete folder is marked as P2 or below, there will be bugs. I haven't looked over P1 stuff yet because I've been busy lately. It'll get fixed, just probably not sooner than you'd like unfortunately :(

Good catch on the "m" part, fixed.
As for the chest in the cove, I have no clue how to fix that. And I'm sure this problem affects some later chests in the game as well. The raft naming screen was another thing I couldn't really fix as well. There are still some parts that are gibberish, especially if you just pick the default name. Hopefully crazycat can hit that up if he isn't busy IRL, cuz I sure the hell am :(

Honestly I don't think anyone here knows Japanese, it isn't required at all. The only thing required to edit the game are owning both the Final Mix and US versions of the game so you can compare files. That's about it. That aside, anyone that wishes to help out should just test the game and let us know about any errors. The majority of the game is translated but for the most part unstable because I haven't thoroughly looked through everyone's files yet. Heck, I've hardly had time to fix my own stuff.

It was mentioned back a few pages that messing with uitex.bin alone (the file you're probably talking about) will probably be pointless without knowing where the coordinates/uv map/whatever info is stored. Believe me, I've tried to fix uitex but it breaks the command menu in game and just shows a solid strip of color.

You're using the wrong file, the current version of SLPS_251.98 should say "begin with rare items in easy mode"

Took a look at your stuff, you missed a bunch of lines of dialogue between the disney villains. But don't worry about it, I added it in and fixed up what you already did.
End of the World ards are now fully translated and re-uploaded.

Traverse Town and Deep Jungle have been fixed and re-uploaded, thanks for pointing that out. Sorentas is right though, things in that folder will get looked at eventually but honestly I probably would not have noticed until I started aligning them. Which would normally have been a while from now.

LOL they aren't flawed man! They are ten times better than just plain untranslated :p

Oohh that would be super helpful for whoever's working on hollow bastion. Mind as well post it anyway since I'll be looking over everything eventually.

Decided to put things into phases to indicate progress.
