Hmm... I don't normally like to get involved in this type of argument... but... The Bible is real. I believe this that because I can find copies of it in my library. (This might seem blunt, and a little sarcastic, but my perception of reality has always been that simple.) The events described in the Bible after the story of creationism are based on real people and places. I believe this because places and items mentioned in the Bible have indeed been found that point to the existence of people mentioned in the Bible. This does not mean the events described in the Bible from the story of creation onward aren't an embellishment. Certain events happened, yes, but I do not believe they happened in the way described in the Bible. For example, I can believe Jesus of Nazareth was crucified (because that was a common form of execution around the time that Jesus lived), but I don't believe he rose from the dead. This is because the authors were humans, and it's well-known that all humans have different perceptions of things. Admittedly, however, this also means what they talk about still could have happened the way they describe it. It's entirely possible that the disciples saw a phantom of Jesus. It's entirely possible that it was an act of God. As for the story of creation - which is meant to be our main focus here - since no documents were actually made at the time of creation, nobody knows what happened. And without decisive evidence, we cannot know for sure. The story of creationism might be true, or the theory of evolution, or something else entirely that humans haven't thought of. As for the subject of the effectiveness of prayer, I don't believe clasping your hands together and thinking about something brings it to you, because if that were true it wouldn't be selective and based on the morals of a single religious order. I believe you actually have to do something to bring about change. Of course, 'what I believe' doesn't mean 'what is the truth', because I am a human with my own perception of the universe, and nothing can change that.
A new PSP bundle. You'll get a brand-new PSP, the game, a VERY HIGH CAPACITY memory card, and a movie. Please, somebody just find out what the movie is for me!
I need to take this to a printer's. I want it on a large canvas!
...You have a beautiful avatar. :D
Goofy, Hatter and Alice definitely know what to do with this. By the way, there's a couple of videos on YouTube from a Kingdom Hearts cosplay group who went to Disneyland. Apparently, when they went in with just the wigs, everything was okay... but when they entered with the costumes, the guards stopped them because they could be mistaken for staff members. I find this hilarious because it proves at least two guards knows what Kingdom Hearts is. I'm pretty sure the 'size' thing is just that it's a lot thicker and wider than the toy weapons they already sell there.
And Ninja!Mickey gonna kick some ass?
Don't worry about it, guys. You know how a lot of episodic downloadable games eventually get a compilation release? That's basically what's happening, only it's a port to a console that more people have. I don't mind if the Japanese get it as well; there's probably a lot of folks there who didn't have the right phones and so couldn't play the game themselves. Also, Vani, I don't think they've started production on KHIII yet. If you want it now, you're only getting a concept video and that would be about it. XD Sorry.
DS-type system that lets you view games in 3D without the need for polarised glasses. Also has PSP-style graphics, if those screens of the new Kid Icarus are any indication.
Would that make my minor sense of accomplishment when I finished KHII horribly misplaced, then? >_>;; I'm a bad person and I should feel bad. ;_;
The amount of games they're pumping out are worrying me a bit. Not so much that we're getting them, really, as it is that there are going to be games after KHIII. They could very easily just end the series at that point. There doesn't need to be any big plot after that, you know; that's what continuation fic is for. But Nomura is planning on ahead anyway. It's got me kinda worried about where the quality of the games is going to go. At least we know that main series games take about three to five years in production time, which is good. It means they're spending their time working them out and making those games (the ones that matter more to the overall plot) as best as they can. And yes, Birth by Sleep is a main series game, not a side-story, otherwise it wouldn't have an unlockable FMV/concept for it in II. And yes, indeed, I am getting a bit curious about the purpose of KH3D. Is it an actual plot title (in which case, where the heck does it fit in) or just something being made to exercise the hardware?
...Raining Soras. ...I wanna go to Destiny Islands now.
Aqua's voice isn't deep at all...
Tinker Bell recognises him, I think. She goes all nuts around Roxas in a way that she never did over Sora. Other than that, I don't think he actually came into close contact with anybody else who knew Ven.
XD I guess he must have decided at some point that he preferred the first look and switched back?
I went to the website and- well, why didn't anyone inform me of a Jack Skellington Play Arts doll!? (Oh, well, I still have that collector's edition doll of him...)
DS? Really!? ...Is there any hope of a UK release yet?
Oh, Crimbles, this game. O_O I was kinda happy and dorky while playing it - hey, Mary-Suish character? I'm at the point where I don't care too much, as long as they're not obnoxious, and to me Xion wasn't. She was just being a person, and she was making Roxas happy, and of course it makes me happy to see Roxas happy so I'm just... y'know, happy. (There's no really easy way to say that, is there. XD) ...And then she dies. And I start crying. And I tell myself that I'm only crying because Roxas is all confused and can't remember her properly - because she's the reason he was happy, right? I personally think they phrased that ice cream line deliberately. It breaks up the scene, makes you remember that there's still a happy end out there for Roxas... and then suddenly, about three hours after you've finished the game, you remember that to do that, somebody had to be completely deleted out of existence. Somebody who hadn't actually done anything wrong at all, if you think about it. What annoyed me the most is the fact that my friend apparently cheered through that scene, and when asked why she told me 'she deserved it'. You can deserve to die, but you can never deserve complete oblivion. I cried more during playing KHII, but I cried more after playing Days.
The only reason he's saved so many is because his blood is special. :| Doesn't inspire me at all, really.
If it's on PS2, I'll just import it. I have AR Max. ;) If not, I guess I'll just have to watch an LP.
The person above me owns several manors in the English countryside... but has to move a single set of cutlery between all the houses.
