I'd definitely recommend playing IV and V, they're both really good. As is III, but it requires a lot of grinding at times.
And yeah, Dissidia's one of my favorite games, I'm glad they put Tifa in Duodecim. Vincent would be interesting to see, considering he uses a gun like Laguna, but I wouldn't mind seeing more NES era characters.
