It's supposed to take a while. I joined the site in September 07, and I didn't get prem until March 08.

You have to get 1,000 posts.

You have to make an album (make sure you click the bubble making it a profile album) and add whatever background picture you want. Then go to the profile customization page (accessable through the User CP) and go from there.
