The amount of data you collect does walk the line of creepy sometimes, but you're certainly not at the "get away from me stalker" level. And this case in particular wasn't at all creepy. That was just a little jest.
I've actually backed down on that significantly -- I'm sure you've noticed -- since, like, the vBulletin days, but a reputation will somewhat always stick with you.
Noted, and appreciated. And yeah, people tend to exaggerate even to themselves. You might downplay it because to you it was normal, but we certainly over-do it. Particularly after it became a bit of a running gag.
