Oh well I'm loving the current arc, but I don't know if I have a real favorite yet hahah. Might be Yorknew City arc, because I love the Phantom Troupe.
Yorknew was pretty awesome, It gave Kurapika a chance to shine and shine he did. It's definitely Greed Island for me the Exam was a good arc but Greed Island is really memorable especially cause of bisky. Hope Togashi ends the Hiatus this year now D:
Bisky was amazing <3 Yeah Greed Island was great. Plus it had dodgeball with Hisoka joining in, hahah.
I honestly have no idea what's going to happen when the anime catches up witth the manga :c we're still like 30ish episodes away from that, but still. The anime is brilliant and I want it to continue.
Sigh. We'll see I guess.
Well they might turn it to a filler arc but thing is Togashi's still not publishing yet. I've heard though he's starting to go back to drawing but he wants to release like a whole volume at once most likely to debut his return but this is still just rumour
Or they might just end it till the manga is well ahead, we've got 80 chapters though which yeah makes around 30 more eps all in all it will be a shame thoughif they end the anime once it catches up to the manga
So far all the arcs are pretty amazing, so it's kinda hard to decide which one is the best. Hunter Exam arc was said to be a blood bath in the manga, the challenges were gruesome as well as the skin crawling moments when Gon was attempting to steal Hisoka's badge. After that, there was the Zoldyac family arc, which wasn't too bad. I won't lie I **** my pants when I first saw Silva. Though it was my least favorite. Next was the Heavens Areana Arc that I personally thought was too rushed, but the fights and the introduction to Nen was pretty awesome. Still I think Gon and Kullia should've had a more challenge there.
On the other hand there was the Yorknew arc. All I could say was O-M-G. When it gets dark, it's gets even darker. Reality is a *****, especially in Hunter x Hunter. There were soo many moments when I was screaming across the house when watching that. The part when Ubo bite off that Shadow beasts head, I swear I was yelling at the Tv like "Ohh Sh* nooo" my whole skin crawled when Ubo went mercifully killed those Shadow Beasts. I liked Worm T^T
But man oh man there has never been an anime were I scream in terror or anger like Hunter x Hunter. I got real sad when Nobunaga incapitated that one dude that controlled dogs. "Ohh f* nooo"
I loved the whole concept about the Auction and it's significants. The whole thing was about the Auction and I just loved it!
I like how Gon and Kullia pulled there own against the troupe, they put up a pretty great fight since they were pretty weak. Gon fked up Pakunoda pretty bad tho :3
Though ths best part of it all was Kurapika. At first I thought Gon and Kullia was stronger than Kurapika but ohh I was so wrong. Not only was he really clever but he was just plain and simple, a badass. Kurapika was capable of taking the whole troupe by himself. If you remember six of the members future was that they would be killed by the hands of Kurapika. Yet something changed...Still he fked up ths whole troupe anyways. He sealed chrollo's nen, killed Ubo, and even killed
Pakunoda
I really wouldn't say Kurapike is strong physically but his drive and passion and loyalty is a key to what makes up his character to be strong. strong would be gon and killua. but Kurapika is driven by a single thing, his quiet rage but he really is a very well thought out character. Killua has always been my favourite 1999 was amazing. I love the opening for it so much.
