Well, this certainly changes some of my opinions of them. They're still below wind waker, of course, but yah. Don't utterly dislike them anymore.

I don't think they'e in the same league as actual Zelda games, but he wrote pretty objectively and empirically that I think it's safe to believe they're fine games on their own if you just ignore the scenes.

I never even noticed the gorgeous backgrounds before those images.

To be fair, there is rarely a time when I say a game is terrible as a game itself. I hold on to the belief that most games are good as games, but suck in the standards of the series (AKA Twilight Princess).

And yeah. They sure are well made.

Well now, we can have bad games of bad quality. Easily. Just like you thought of the CD-I games pre-article :P It's just, they're actually playable and kinda fun. And I think TP just sucks in general :P Not even as a Zelda game, it's just an "eh" game XD

Yeah, there was def some caring. They just got drowned out by all the voices.

To be honest... The only reason I seriously disliked them was the scenes. I can't think of anything else... Haha

LOL I couldn't either! I just thought they were unplayable messes of games thanks to AVGN.. then I watched his videos again and was like "ohh... so he just complains about the scenes and something that's his fault... uhhhhhh"
