      - They aren' t the same resolution, PAL has more height. Movies displayed in full screen in NTSC, once converted to PAL, display black belts of nothingness above and under the movies to keep their length/height ratio unchanged (otherwise everything would look super slim).

      But yeah, just pick NTSC. Any european screen built less than 15 years ago can read NTSC just fine anyway.

      It has nothing to do with quality. NTSC is for North America, PAL is for Europe. Use NTSC.
      Actually, it does :

      - NTSC is 60 Hz while PAL is 50 Hz, meaning PAL is 20% slower. Video games often have timed trials, so PAL players have to keep in mind that while the console timer runs just as fast as in NTSC everything they do in-game takes 20% longer to be done, even waiting for the console to load data.

        Actually, Amaury Garcia was my original (my last name is Garcia-Cumming), but when I became fully active on June 5, 2011, I asked Misty if she could remove Garcia for privacy reasons. At the time I wasn't qualified for name changes.
