well Thanks but I don't read him too much (canceling the BFF relationship yet?) but that poem really spoke to me... though i'm not sure how. For some reason i just got all emotional about it...

Well, I was kind of just being eccentric with the best friend bit just for laughs. :p I've read just about every story of his this year even though I've always loved the few selections I read before I received a copy of the Complete stories for Christmas. I know what you mean though. I recorded a reading of "El Dorado" not so long ago.

It's taken me months to just read a dozen. They are rather drawn out and execute an advanced language than what most are used to in today's world. xD I have needed a dictionary and other tools. Becuase I like to understand what is written.

What kind of vernacular is it? My peers have Informed me that I am in possession of a rather large vocabulary.

It's a higher early 19th century vocabulary, so some words can't be easily found in modern dictionaries, but it's not exactly a foreign language to modern-day English speakers. It is merely more advanced than the standard we go by today. The sentence structure is more modern than Shakespeare and not that much changed from what we use as the standard as structure.

I could go for that. even if horror isn't really my genre.

It's mostly all gruesome, but not all horror. There are comedy, sci-fi, satire and mystery pieces as well. The under tones are rather dark though, most of the time.

Oh, okay. I just normally hear him referred to as a Horror writer. I could definitely read those.
