The gals are complaining about toilet seats being left up by us guys.

But why do the toilet seats have to be put down in the first place? Is that the default position for a toilet seat if both males and females use it? Never hear guys complaining "Man, those bitches left the toilet seat down."

If you're in a setting with stalls I somehow doubt that there is a need to fiddle with the seat, hah.
I realize this is a completely ridiculous comment to make towards a post that already mentioned the double standard but be nice to us ladies. ;c

This is making me think, someone needs to invent a toilet that solves these issues. Shit would make mad cashmoniez.

    Crazy talk.

It's totally not even laziness. In fact, my Mam even puts the lid down on her toilet, so I'm used to lifting something up to use it. What you fail to understand is that it is a toilet seat, meant to be sat on. Therefore, its default position should be DOWN.

..I am being far too passionate about this toilet seat issue.

Yes, a sort of robo-toilet, that can identify the user's gender, and move the seat to the appropriate setting for what actions need to be taken.

No wait that'd be a total waste of money :|

I considered that but then I was thinking of all the creepy implications of a robot identifying your gender. I ended up leaving this one to those cleverer than me.

It's common courtesy for the men in my household to put the toilet seat down after they're done because it is a predominantly female household.

However, when I lived with my dad and there were more men than women in the house, it was normal to see the seat up. No big deal.

...Regarding this entire list, though. It's so cliche I can't take it seriously.

No, it'll be funny because most girls would see no reason for a girl to put the seat up and therefore assume that a guy was using the ladies' room.

I totally disagree. I think people should remember birthdays and anniversaries. I'm not saying you have to get an extravagant gift for your significant other, but remembering and going out to dinner on Valentine's Day is more than enough for me. I don't have high standards and I don't need gifts all of the time, but I like my birthday to be remembered as much as the next person. And hey, if you don't want to remember mine don't expect me to care when yours comes around buddy.

This just bothers me a little because I know most women are like this, but I'm not like this. For one thing beer > handbags. I have a cool satchel thing that I bring everywhere and it's enough for me. Also I don't have many shoes/clothes. I am satisfied with less. I actually do need clothes because I only have one pair of jeans to wear. And my boyfriend doesn't mind when I do ask him how I look because I rarely do it, and after that we'll move on to talk about Skyrim or something we both like.

No. If you're somewhere with your girlfriend and you're staring at another girl, that's not genetic it's just disgusting. If you want to be single, BE SINGLE. Eyes might not shut off in relationships, but neither doesn't kindness and courtesy. I've never liked guys who look around too much because I couldn't trust someone like that. Trust is like relationship glue. I don't care if you see someone attractive because everyone does that, but talking about it or staring just makes me want to tell you to go talk to her if she interests you so damn much when I'm sitting right in front of you. Thank goodness I don't have this problem at all.

My hair is on the shorter side, are you going to tell me that I'm not attractive? I mean I'm not getting offended because I don't care (and I'm growing it out but that's besides the point), but hair length doesn't determine beauty. And about that marriage stuff, I don't think that's always true. I think it happens more so when people have kids because they have less time to worry about their physical appearance. I mean long hair takes much more time to style than short hair, and you might not want to hear about styling hair, but you're expecting it to look nice anyway lol. Also "you're stuck with her"? All I can say is wtf. That's just stupid. If someone cuts their hair too short it will grow. And is their face and the personality you fell in love with suddenly null and void?

I mean there is more to say, but those are really the main things that bothered me about your post.

EDIT: Really do you all care that much about the toilet seat? All you have to do is adjust it. LITERALLY TAKES FIVE SECONDS. ****ing first world problems.

I'm kinda indifferent to the whole hair thing. I think each person is different, and some people look better with long hair and others with short hair. And some people are even good in-between. I personally think shoulder hair is a pretty good area.

And that toilet seat thing is more a nuisance than anything else. But I keep it down anyways, because people have to take a dump occasionally

Somehow, I didn't find this list to be so insulting...

Say what you like, but some girls can be awful enough to justify this~

First of all, on the toilet conversation (big issue obviously), I live in a household with only 1 male and he puts the seat down, fair enough. It is just common courtesy to put the seat down because 3/4 the seat will be SAT on by either a male or a female. It was just from decency... it seems grotty to leave the seat up, you guys are the ones that need it up but you can have it down and just clean it afterwards if you make a mess >.>

See above and last 3 pages.

Then just ask us what we want, or just go for chocolate or flowers! They are great, but make it look like you made an effort at least >.> and no, it doesn't matter what sort of flowers, just make sure they are pretty and smell nice.

Yeah, that's fine, sometimes we are not thinking about you >:D Just make sure your girl feels respected and loved.

Then enjoy your sports. We'll be in the kitchen getting down :D

B-b-but, it's whatever makes the girl happy and suits them.

Have you seen how competitive it can get? Shoppping can get violent.

    Is it? Cool >:D

But that makes it too easy.

This is so true... my Dad can't remember my birthday >.> and he was there!

I own about 3 pairs of shoes. Just tell her that they all look lovely even if you have no idea.

    What about this one?

Yes, but it's nice to see some effort D:

Sometimes we like to moan and just want to be held... is that so much to ask? D:

    lol, Doctor.

    What? Oil? Huh?

Not if we remember it it isn't! It still happened and whatever you say can be used as evidence against you.

I wouldn't ask a guy anyway, I fear the awkward response but if they do be kind!

    Good :D

If a woman gets jealous it just means she's scared of losing you, make sure she feels secure with you and she won't mind.

But sometimes we are too weak and feeble to do it.

.... My Dad is worse than my Mum at this. So same to you. Totally agreeing with you though.

Sometimes it's just easier to give in. >:D

You just told us that if we needed sympathy to go to our girlfriends, we like moaning- problem? >:3

How about magnolia? What a great colour, or Montana ice? No... me neither.

    O.o

Men ned mind reading classes  I jest, I agree with this one but I don't know why I still act like you can.

Sometimes it is if you want to keep her.... or just give her some love.

    Haha! Yeah... so true.

Not if it doesn't make us feel good.

I'll happily talk about this with any guy, just to get to know them better.... also, I like the same sort of things.

But... they get all grotty and gross. Also, clothes can make us happy sometimes... deal with it- you aren't wearing them.

Some girls do have too many shoes.

    However, it is a cliche.

    But quizzes are amusing

Then good for you! Enjoy your beer.

    And so are some girls.

Score, we get the whole bed >:3 and the duvet!

Get out of the kitchen. I will make my OWN sandwich, thank you very much. You just stick to painting or gardening or something.
