She nips him scoldingly then breaks away. "You are distracted." She said acidly.

 

"Aw, why not any longer than a day?"

 

"Unless there's a higher rank to carry out orders than 'Mistress Luana'. Then I would keep this on."
"Let's get on the shoopuff." She leaves ahead of him with her child still in her arms.

 

"There's big brother and kaa-san." He follows her.

 

"What was that about? You were distracted back there!"
"They would have to tell me directly."

 

"I was just thinking about my past."

 

"Liar!" She hisses as she runs farther away.

 

"Big brother was thinking about his past." He said truthfully, for he could see snatches of Sephiroth's memory flitting by during the conversation.

 

"I don't want to hear anything from you, traitor." She gets on the shoopuff.

 

He sat down opposite her.

 

She wraps her wing over her son while looking away agitatedly.

 

He closed his eyes and let his mind wander.

 

"I suppose we need a divorce. Do you disagree?"

 

"Why is that?" He asked without opening his eyes.

 

"We're not getting along."

 

"One argument does not a divorce make."

 

"And you heard what I told him."

 

"Unfortunately yes."

 

"I'll let this go because I don't ever want to lose you."
