"Good point. I'll chase after him." He followed the chain.

 

He follows after him.

 

He could see Cloud up ahead. "Running away from your problems won't solve them."

 

"What do you know?" He whirls around to face him then bares his teeth. "I have friends close to me. An experience that you will never understand."
"You are just making things worst for yourself." He said as he catches up with them.

 

"I may not understand what it's like to have friends, but I do know what it feels like to have someone care about you when everyone else shuns you."

 

He looks like he was going to pounce on him then runs off.
Demon King runs after him then bites into his neck. Once he has a firm grip, he tosses the cheetah to the other side then place a paw over his chest.
"I wouldn't say shun just yet, Sephiroth, Tifa still remains by my side."

 

"I was talking about myself. In the old days, they just knew me as one of Shinra's many experiments. There was only one person who cared about me then."

 

He blinks in confusion until he could figure out who he was talking about. "Professor Gast." Cloud turns to face Demon King. "Would ya get off now?"
"Nope."

 

"That's not who I was talking about."

 

He grew impatient as he lies on the ground defenseless and he still couldn't figure out who it was. There were plenty people back then, but he couldn't think of anyone else than someone who is not human.
He could sense his anxiety but still hold him down.

 

"Do I have to spell it out for you?"

 

He could tell with just one paw Cloud knew the answer and saw him baring his teeth. The fiend steps back as a fluid motion display before him.
He got back on all fours then tackles the black lion to the floor. "Don't bring in that thing into this conversation."

 

He scratched Cloud's face with his claws with enough force to knock him over. "Don't you dare call her a thing again." He said vehemently as he growled at him.

 

"There's a reason why she's locked in the first place." He said as he washes his face carefully. "If she didn't come to our world, none of this would happen to us."

 

"That's true, but she's the only Mother I have."

 

He was about to tackle him again when something blocks his view. "Get out of the way!" He hisses as his fur bristles.
"No, put that behind you or you'll be Sephiroth's puppet again."

 

"And I'll torture you to my content."

 

"I'll never let it go after you killed Aerith in our world!" He scratches then bites the chain off but it did very little damage.

 

He sighs. "Still going on about your pathetic friends. You have to move on from the past and live in the present."

 

"Much as I am trying to, I can't since you are my past." He is still persistent as he still gnaws at the chain.
