my problem is that its a day of love and my heart is just dust about now. so all i can do is look at what im not gonna have for a long time. something im dying for from one individual.

Couples hate single people just as much as single people had couples, always making us feel bad for being in a relationship.

I agree with you, but isn't that what an anniversary is for. I mean I know it isn't a holiday but just wonderng if that counts.
Also I don't care for Valentine's Day at all even as I kid. I only enjoyed it so much cause of all the candy I was getting. Sadly the older I got the less I recieved. I mean I used to get baskets full as a kid. Now I'm lucky if I even get a damn thing this year. So that's the only reason why I care for it...CANDY!!!!!!

I don't really like Valentines day myself. It's kind of degrading when they deliver candy grams and roses to girls in the middle of class, like that's not going to make the people who don't get anything feel bad.

...Those awfully cheesy Kay jewelers commercials aren't helping either. "I LOVE YOU, SO I BOUGHT YOU A DIAMOND NECKLACE. LET'S KISS ROMANTICALLY IN THE MIDDLE OF A RAIN STORM."

Moral; if you don't buy your woman something expensive for Valentine's day, you must not really be in love, and she'll never feel special...or make out with you. ​
