It's a custom. Most snakes in these have no teeth. The child is not in any real danger. Besides, he seemed to know what he was doing.

Probably because his dad does the same thing and has taught it to his son. Just looking at the kid's face, I see no fear, nor a happy innocent face. I see the focus in that he never looked away from that snake, and the legs splitting, to ensure the snake does not have an easy hit on his legs.

 

but why would you teach a kid that? Maybe if he was older, I might understand....probably not, but he looks like he's around 4 or 5 years old. That's just rediculous

 

I don't really know, but that is the custom. I know this isn't the only kid that does this. In fact, if you searched on Youtube more, I think there is a video of a snake biting an infant. But the infant doesn't cry.

Saying it's ridiculous, is like how others though of us eating corn on the cob was disgusting.

 

except it is rediculous. I mean they're just playing with the snake and agitating it on purpose only for fun, and they're teaching children to do this stuff. Sure it's culture, but what the heck about it is good?

Actually, in bull fighting, I say go for it. You're just asking to be trampled to death, so don't go complaining to anyone if you get injured beyond repair.
Don't care about Circuses or Zoos though...actually what would I have against zoos?

 

People do crazy things and teach their children crazy things. Do we have a right to stop them?

 

So, tormenting a bull and stabbing it with sharp polls and making it bleed to death is fine, simply because the bull fighter, who may have a family of his own could die? Nice.

Well again, these take animals and put them on display for our entertainment, like the snake fighting. And the snake is not killed at the end of the performance. Rather, it is feed and taken care of.

 

Capturing animals and using them for entertainment.

I have a problem with those too. Animals would be let outside at their leisure of not back in if I had them.
