"cory's got a cloak,go get it."

 

"Nah, I actually have no idea what it is. Guess I'm just having one of those days."

"After what I did with it the last time he's told me I'm not allowed to borrow it."

 

"Blonde day."

"what'd you do?"

 

"Very blonde day." She giggled.

"I'm not allowed to say." He said with a shifty look.

 

he grinned

"do i even want to know why?"

 

Lake giggled and sprinted up the remaining steps.

"More then likely that you don't."

 

"ill take your word.."

he followed

 

"You do that." He said shiftily.

Lake spun around at the top of the stairs to wait for him.

 

quick when you want to be"he said

 

"I'm a sprinter, it's good for getting away from people."

 

he grinned

 

Lake nodded and carried on up towards the common room.

"dunno...havent seen her."

 

"She keeps vanishing every so often..." Immy said quietly.

Whilst the Potter and the Malfoy families were reuniting with their parents and older siblings Lake was standing back from the rest of the platform, once again hidden by the billowing steam. She hated Christmas, but it was part of her children's home's rules that unless they were staying with friends or family they had to return home for Christmas. It was by far the worst time of year, a time meant for family when that was exactly what she didn't have.

 

"yeah, she wont tell anyone where she goes..."cory said rolling his eyes

maddie got off the carriadge,hand in hand with the one person she been warned to stay well away from


"isnt that her there with....oh she isnt..."zarrah said,a jordanish grin appereing on her face

"Oh she is! she is!"sophie giggled

"uh-oh..."lyra mutterd"mickey....you and cory go get the trunks"

he looked confused

 

"Just go Mickey." Casey sighed.

"Oh this isn't going to end well..." Elle commented as she glanced over.

 

"alright! alright!"he said leaving,cory shoving him ahead

"see you later..."
"Yeah,ill come pick you up tonight ok maddz?"
"Uh-huh."she let go of him and practicaly skipped over,a smile on her face,but that soon faded."what?"

"i thought you were told to stay away from him?"

 

Lake peered around the edge of the stack of trunks she was lurking behind.

"Same here."
