Why does no one like Green Lantern Because the special effects were cheesy? Is that really the only complaint? If so, moviegoers, I am disappoint.
How does anyone beat Superman in lameness He is that kid who when you used to play Superhero would keep adding powers to himself as needed Oh I'm super fast and super strong also my skin deflects bullets and I can fly and I have laser eyes and I'm an alien And it's not fair to compare anyone to Batman he is too mentally unstable to be defeated
He had blue eyes, GREEEEEEEEN Lantern, how do you mess that up? The movie itself was okay-ish, but there didn't seem to be enough action, allot of the movie was just too slow. They did do a good job with Sinestro, I'll give them that. As a whole I wasn't impressed, they could have done a much better job. *prays they try their dernedest to make the flash movie good*..
No he didn't, when he put on the suit they were like basically colorless and ethereal and stuff Oh c'mon, it had plenty of action. This is not MANFILM FOR MEN 2: THE CHEST HAIR THICKENS, people don't need to punch and kick to communicate. I'm glad they took the time to develop the central characters outside of headbutting each other or throwing explosives around, since their clashes and contrasts defined the film. ...Am I getting old? The movie felt rushed, if anything! All the movies I see lately feel rushed. They gloss over the minor details, characters barely have time to react to anything, no one ever hesitates or pauses for reflection... It's come to a point where I've just learned to accept it as modern film technique, but you can't accuse it of going too slow if it feels like the whole thing only takes a half hour. Crazy ADHD-addled whippersnappers Well how could they not, Mark Strong was basically born for that role. I laughed the whole way through, I thought they weren't gonna drop ANY hints that he'd be the bad guy in the next film, up until the end. That would be so funny for anybody who knows the history. "Yeah, I mean, he looks like the goddamn Devil, but he's totally on our side. Trufax."
Oh cool, a 7 sector bonus. And I completely forgot about that movie. I've never really paid attention to the green lantern since I've only ever heard of him in the Justice League cartoons from forever ago.
My gf is like the biggest comic junkie of all time, so I've had to hear about every minor thing they did wrong in the movie over and over again, so maybe I'm a tad biased. (which is why I'm praying they make a good flash or she might actually hunt down the directors...) Still think his eyes looked blue, which just doesn't make sense if anything. The last part with Sinestro happened right as I said, "Looks like they didn't want to make a sequel the way they ended it." Then he appeared on the screen. Yes, you might be getting old, you cannot properly enjoy a movie without explosions every three to four seconds. @Fayt I loved those cartoons, comic junkie has them all on dvd(seen them many times, lol).
Green Lantern was fucking epic. So was Thor and basically every superhero movie except for Superman, Daredevil and Catwoman.
I loved Daredevil and Catwoman. But i as well hated Superman! :rockdover:I loved Daredevil and Catwoman. But i as well hated Superman!
